About: I’ve been around animals my whole life - dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, frogs, and fish - and I absolutely love caring for them! I recently moved from Pennsylvania and had to leave my pets with family for now, so getting to spend time with other people’s furry friends brings me so much joy. I have experience with both playful puppies and sweet senior pets, and I always make sure they feel loved, safe, and happy. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and the positive energy I bring to every visit! I’m available on weekends with at least 3 days’ notice, and weekdays after 5 PM. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a small dog yard and walking trails just steps away—perfect for outdoor time and exercise. I’m also right near the mountains, so your pet will be surrounded by nature and fresh air. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. About: I grew up with 4 types of dogs big and small. When I was 9 I babysat my neighbor cat and dog . I learned to be more responsible with animals. I'm currently a part-time sitter due to my illness, my schedule changes depending on doctor's appointments for the month so I will be changing my calendar when I have days off my dialysis days are Monday Wednesday Friday from 11:45am-3:45pm im available for check in and dog walks before and after those times. I live in a 2-2 house no roommates. My neighborhood is quite. Plenty of hiking trails near the area. Also pets are allowed on the furniture.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I cared for all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to goats and chickens. Today, I share my home with three dogs and three cats, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find a pet sitter you can trust. Since I can work from almost anywhere with my laptop, I have the flexibility to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, and check-ins as needed. I am typically available in the afternoons and evenings for longer walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine and ensuring they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away. When caring for pets in a clients home, my top priorities are safety, consistency, and making sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pets routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I treat every home with the same respect I would expect for my own. During visits, I ensure pets have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and affection, and that doors, gates, and other potential hazards are secure before I leave. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand that trust is incredibly important, and I strive to provide dependable, attentive care for every pet I meet.

About: I’ve taken care of animals of every kind since I was 12… from dogs, to cats, to horses. I volunteered for a no kill animal shelter as a teenager where I cared for, exercised, and assisted in adoption efforts. I’m relied on by neighbors and friends to walk and care for their animals and look forward to caring for yours. Animals truly hold a special place in my heart. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me plenty of time to care for your animals. I enjoy walking and hiking in the mountains with my dogs and look forward to incorporating yours. I have a fenced yard with 2.5 acres of land. I have a section fenced off in the backyard for smaller animals. I have two friendly dogs for your animals to play with.

About: After having three dogs for many years, I am an expert at walking more than one--with expandable leashes, it's like flying three kites at once! In addition to long (or short) walks, I also like snuggling with pups on the couch. I currently have one 20-pound pup who gets along with almost all other dogs and loves having guests. For boarding and daycare, a meet and greet is a must. I have a very flexible work schedule and I mostly work from my home. I love taking frequent walks and petting dogs throughout the workday. I do not have a yard but like taking walks at all times of day, so your pup can still get plenty of exercise. I am familiar with senior dog care and am comfortable giving pills, following special diets, etc.

About: I've grown up around dogs my entire life. As a child I volunteered to foster dogs until they were adopted. I've known and cared for dogs throughout their lifecycle, and I understand dog pack dynamics. So whether your pup is young and needs a good run or they're older and enjoy a slow walk & sniff, or anything in between, I'm confident I can safely care for them. I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to be around your pups and give them the attention they deserve. I can make time weekends or week days I have dependable transportation and a can do attitude. I respect the rules of a house and create a safe environment for the pups. Whether they need to be walked, crated, or fed at a certain time or any other requirements, I appreciate the need for structure and safety in caring for your animals

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. Providing the love and care to other dogs while you’re away is my priority! To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I am unable to have a dog of my own full time, I can care and love for others in the mean time! While I do live in an apartment, there is a park with walking trails right across the street that I walk daily. Staying active is an essential part of my life!

About: As a retired employee of Sandia National Laboratories with a Department of Energy security clearance, I have a lifelong passion for animals, particularly golden retrievers. I currently share my home with a rescued cat and enjoy daily walks with my pal Dixie, a very clever rescue dog in Sandia Heights. My experience includes providing companionship to individuals, including a recent stay with a lady experiencing mild dementia. I am available as needed. As a retiree, I am available most days to provide pet care, including walks and cuddles. While I am unable to have a dog of my own, I welcome the opportunity to care for your furry friend. I specialize in providing comprehensive in-home pet care, offering personalized companionship, feeding, and walking services tailored to each pet's unique needs. A fenced backyard is available for supervised activities, although the gated section has wide openings.

About: I can stay at your home or I can board your pets at my home (boarding only if you have small lap dogs). For boarding, I keep your pets indoors with our pets in our personal living space so your pets should be clean, house-broken, and tolerant of children. We have a very clean home with mostly red brick tile throughout (except for the bedrooms which have white carpet). We have a small doggie door which enters into a small fenced area (4'x12') for self-potty breaks while we are at work (if your dogs know how to use a doggie door). We can also close this door if your dog is an escape artist. Our home is located in the east mountains off the Zuzax exit (about 15 minutes from Tramway Blvd). We both work (I have summers off) so we come to Albuquerque every day via I-40 and would be happy to pick up your pet at a meeting location if the drive is a pain for you. We have a huge horse barn and several acres as our backyard. We have a mini-horse, three mini goats, three chickens, two small dogs, and a cat. Why is my rate so reasonable you ask? Because we don't do this to make a living. Getting to care for other peoples furry children brings much happiness & joy to our lives too. If it was a pain in the rear, we'd charge much much more. But it's not, it's a treat for us. I also automatically donate 5% of my pet sitting fee's to K9's for Warriors via Rover.com. K9's for Warriors provides service canines to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service. About this sitter: I'm a married mother of two children, and many animal children. I work full-time as a social worker. Caring for pets is a natural extension of my care of humans. Why I love dog sitting: I've been a dog lover since I was little. My families Norwegian Elkhound had puppies when I was 2 years old and I have pictures of my twin sister and I being so in love with them and carrying them everywhere we went. When I was 19, I bought a dog book and combed the pages looking for my best K-9 match. I ended up getting a Shih Tzu and a Brussels Griffon. 20 years later, we now have Budrow, my 14 year old Norfolk Terrier mix, Gracie, my 2 year old mini-Australian Sheppard/mini-Poodle mix, and a 4 year old sweet long hair female cat named Aphrodite. They are all best buddies and they enjoy having furry houseguests. Meet my pets: We have one mini-horse, three mini-goats, three chickens, 2 small dogs, and a cat. About my yard: We have a huge backyard (5 acres), some areas are fenced some are not. If your dogs are diggers, I'd worry that they might get into the chicken coop or the goat area. We do not want to host large outdoor dogs at this time, until we get proper sturdy fencing around the entire property. We are currently only hosting indoor lap dogs at this time. My experience administering medication: Yes, I will administer medication (including shots) unless a dog bites or gets squirrely. I accommodate your pets needs around my work schedule. In the Fall or Spring I occasionally have my teenagers sports events or meets to attend. I treat you pets like my own and if I’m caring for your pets in my own home they will be included in my regular life, living room time (sunning windows, movie nights on the couch, etc), grass time, playtime, sleep time, etc.

About: I have cared for my own pets, friends pets, and family members pets for decades, including multiple senior pets and those with specific medical needs. I work from home and have my own pets who are spoiled with constant company and attention to needs. I walk my own dogs in the morning throughout the summer to avoid the hottest part of the day. It is unlikely I am ever out of the house for more than 90 minutes, ensuring that neither your nor my own dogs are left unattended for long enough to become anxious. My backyard is fully shaded, fenced, and has a small pond. Even on the hottest days my backyard is suitable for lounging despite the high desert heat.
