About: I've grown up around dogs my entire life. As a child I volunteered to foster dogs until they were adopted. I've known and cared for dogs throughout their lifecycle, and I understand dog pack dynamics. So whether your pup is young and needs a good run or they're older and enjoy a slow walk & sniff, or anything in between, I'm confident I can safely care for them. I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to be around your pups and give them the attention they deserve. I can make time weekends or week days I have dependable transportation and a can do attitude. I respect the rules of a house and create a safe environment for the pups. Whether they need to be walked, crated, or fed at a certain time or any other requirements, I appreciate the need for structure and safety in caring for your animals

“Kyndal was so helpful and attentive with my two puppies on a late notice. She took them for walks, took plenty of pictures, stayed in communication, and was super flexible with my wild schedule! 1000% would rebook.”

About: After having three dogs for many years, I am an expert at walking more than one--with expandable leashes, it's like flying three kites at once! In addition to long (or short) walks, I also like snuggling with pups on the couch. I currently have one 20-pound pup who gets along with almost all other dogs and loves having guests. For boarding and daycare, a meet and greet is a must. I have a very flexible work schedule and I mostly work from my home. I love taking frequent walks and petting dogs throughout the workday. I do not have a yard but like taking walks at all times of day, so your pup can still get plenty of exercise. I am familiar with senior dog care and am comfortable giving pills, following special diets, etc.
“I wish there was more stars, since Esperita truly deserves them. Her gently demeanor made her an ideal sitter for our two Greyhounds. They odor her, and we will definitely be booking with her again. Super reliable, and you know she will take care of your animals as if they were her own.”

“Rufus was very pleased with Sophia and requested her as his executive assistant next time I'm out of town. Sophia sent me photos and videos every day. And Rufus was cared for both physically and emotionally. Please note that Rufus is a special needs cat and that Sophia was required to give him medication as well as food and water.”

About: It’s my goal to provide the pets under my watch with the best care possible. It’s important to me that my clients have peace of mind concerning their pets so that they can enjoy their vacation or business trip worry free. I message, send pictures, and provide videos often towards that goal. I gladly give their pups all the love and attention they want. Truthfully, I just love dogs and love their company. I’ve had dogs and all sorts of other pets my whole life. They will get plenty of attention from me and my wife since We are retired and typically home all day and night every day. Currently I have no dog of my own and one reason I do this is because I enjoy their companionship. I also do not care for dogs from other families at the same time. So, your pup or pups will be getting our full attention without worry of conflict with another animal. I have a high concrete block fence all the way around the grass back yard where we go out often for fresh air, play, and potty. Them potty, not me. I keep your pet indoors with me mostly but give them potty breaks and play time often during the day and night. I do not leave them alone outside. And if we go for a walk or to the park, they will always be on their leash and we avoid other animals which may be out. We tend to be tranquil low energy home bodies. So a pet with a lot of energy or one that needs daily walks and exercise may not be a good fit. Since I am retired, I will be with your pup pretty much 24/7. My wife will be helping me as well so it’s highly unlikely we would ever leave them alone. If we do need to run a quick errand and we can take them with us, we usually will. It’s my priority to provide your pup(s) with a happy, safe, and healthy experience. It is only my wife and I so my home is quiet and calm. I have a grass yard for play and potty breaks. There is a high brick fence around the yard. There’s not much in the house for them to get in trouble over. The floors are easy to clean in case of accidents. Between visits I thoroughly clean and disinfect the floors, furniture, rugs, patio, and even the yard with animal safe solutions to insure the health of your pets.
About: I have cared for my own pets, friends pets, and family members pets for decades, including multiple senior pets and those with specific medical needs. I work from home and have my own pets who are spoiled with constant company and attention to needs. I walk my own dogs in the morning throughout the summer to avoid the hottest part of the day. It is unlikely I am ever out of the house for more than 90 minutes, ensuring that neither your nor my own dogs are left unattended for long enough to become anxious. My backyard is fully shaded, fenced, and has a small pond. Even on the hottest days my backyard is suitable for lounging despite the high desert heat.
“Leaving our cats and dog with someone new made me nervous, but Luca completely exceeded my expectations. Luca came for a meet-and-greet beforehand and asked questions about our cats and dog's routine. Luca sent multiple photos daily, giving total peace of mind. I highly recommend and will absolutely booking again.”

About: As a 60 year old I have had dogs my whole life. I love dogs and enjoy treating the ones I sit or care for as my own. I have a small house so am looking for one dog at a time. I will happily come to your home in the East Mountains to feed, play with/walk your pets as well. I have been a Rover sitter for 6 yrs and took a break for a couple. Now I am ready to start caring for dogs once again. I work at home and I have the freedom to come to your house to feed, let your dog out, take your dog for a walk, play and of course give lots of attention. Or if your pet is my house, I can fit in playtime, walks throughout the day, pets, snuggles, etc. Even though our yard is fenced, I will never let your dog off leash. I will be attentive when we are outside so that he/she does not run off, run after wildlife, or get into any mischief. We have cactus in the yard and I will be diligent in keeping your pet away from them! I will treat your pet as my own.
About: I have grown up with animals all my life. I had 2 dogs and 2 cats growing up and I currently have a German Shepard, Weiner dog, and 2 flat faced cats. I also have experience taking care of fish and reptiles. I just moved to ABQ from Atlanta. I love animals and would love to continue taking care of them out here. I am free for drop in visits or house sitting. I would be able to drop by your house, feed the dogs and take them out to play and use the restroom. As for my own dogs, I train them myself with no shock collar or crate.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life - dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, frogs, and fish - and I absolutely love caring for them! I recently moved from Pennsylvania and had to leave my pets with family for now, so getting to spend time with other people’s furry friends brings me so much joy. I have experience with both playful puppies and sweet senior pets, and I always make sure they feel loved, safe, and happy. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and the positive energy I bring to every visit! I’m available on weekends with at least 3 days’ notice, and weekdays after 5 PM. My schedule will be changing in June, so I’ll keep you updated as it shifts! I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a small dog yard and walking trails just steps away—perfect for outdoor time and exercise. I’m also right near the mountains, so your pet will be surrounded by nature and fresh air. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. I follow any care instructions closely and treat every pet like family to build trust and make them feel right at home❤️
About: Since the age of 6 I have taken care of many animals such as dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, and goats. I also enjoy hiking and tons of exercise. I joined the app in hopes of gaining a friend to enjoy the scenery with. Due to having many different classes at different times of the day I get many breaks. Within these breaks I usually take walks on my own to decompress from school. A friend told me she used Rover as well and I thought might as well have a furry friend join me on my walks and enjoy the sunshine too. I have pet sat for neighbors and friends for many years and feel I am very respectful of their homes. While working at a clients home I feel communication is key to build trust and that their house should be the same when I leave as when I entered prior to sitting.
“Alexandra was amazing! From our first meeting, I knew that my two kitties were in great hands. She gave me updates and photos every day, while I was away and can definitely tell she has a huge heart for animals. I definitely recommend booking with her.”

About: Updated 7/26. I have a great amount of experience with dogs & many animals. I have been taking care of mostly dogs for 9 years now. I have experience with horses and cows as well. I professionally boarded dogs in my past homes in Hawaii and Washington, d.c. I made bonds with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, & genders. I always adapt to each dog as they are unique. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make our experience better. I look forward to connecting with you & your pet! If we are not able to do a Meet & Greet... I understand last minute things come up. If there is a time where we are not able to meet, I will ask questions about your animal through Rover. I am comfortable asking questions & you answering them honestly over message before drop off. We can also Facetime or Zoom if you would like to and/or prefer. I do work full time alongside taking care of pets. I am willing to help and accommodate when possible. Message to discuss details. Thank you! I take care of any and all pets as if they are my own. Alexandria went above and beyond! She took the time to play fetch with my pup and even cleaned up all the poop from my yard which she by had do. I was so happy to come home to a clean yard and my doggo completely crashed and calm. She clearly has a very high work ethic and a love for people and animals that is hard to find these days. Highly highly recommend! Thank you Alexandria!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
