“This is my second time asking Megan to watch my dogs when we work long hour shifts and when I get home they are exhausted! I can really tell they enjoy it a lot and I can actually tell they get a lot of exercise. I will continue to ask Megan to take care of my dogs because I feel like she is a person that I can really trust, especially since November has a lot of anxiety and over excitement all the time but she knows how to handle it and I’m thankful for that☺️”

“Brian accepted a last minute booking to come check in on my cat while I was out of town for work. He was very diligent about refilling my cats food and water and cleaning up after him. Brian was patient while my shy, anxious cat warmed up to him. When I returned home, my cat seemed so much less stressed than when I’ve left him in the care of friends or family, so I can tell Brian took good care of him.”

About: Family and friends have trusted me to feed, walk and play with their lovely pets for the past 4 years. As a huge animal lover, it would be my pleasure to help with their loved ones. I am currently attending college, mainly taking online courses so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I am willing to help anytime of day! I follow instructions given to me by clients accurately. Any and all specifications set by clients will be followed. Nothing is too tedious for me.
About: I grew up with cats from the time I was 6 years old. I love animals of all kinds and have taken care of cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs, and more. I have a calm and quiet temperament and I've been told that animals warm up to me quickly. I have years of experience taking care of pets in their own home while their owners are away. This is good for them, because pets are usually more comfortable staying in their own home, where they can enjoy the scent of their owners, the familiar setting and routine, their toys, and their favorite sleeping spots. Home is where they feel safe and secure. I started pet sitting after chronic pain and fatigue made it impossible for me to continue working at my previous job. This means that I have ample time to spend with the animals I'm taking care of, as I'm typically at home most or all of the day. I'm able to care for pets any day of the week, and I schedule meetings with pet owners Monday through Saturday. I provide care for pets in my client's home. I can also take care of household tasks such as bringing in the mail and watering plants.
About: Hi, My Name is Rae! Our family consists of myself, my husband, and our fur babies; our 2 pups and our pet rabbit. I have certifications in Animal Training and Pet Sitting. As well as Animal Psychology, Veterinary Support Assistant, and Animal Grooming. I could not imagine a life without pets, growing up with pets of all kinds, I have a deep love and understanding of the patience, time, and love that goes into any pet and how they complete a home. I look forward to meeting any new pet and sharing my time with them, getting to know who they are. If you would like to learn more about me, check out my website: whiskerkiss (dot) com I work full-time, partial days in office during the week and partial days during the week at home. I have standard weekends at home. Evenings I am at home. For boarding, I have a enclosed/fenced dog area. With seasonal shade cover over a portion of the dog area. It is directly attached to my patio and both the dog area and patio are contained with tall fencing to mitigate other animals from entering the area. We do slow introductions with any guest pets and my own pups as I know it can be overwhelming at first for each party. My pups are very friendly with other pets and love to run around and play once everyone gets acclimated.
“Isabella was great with Maverick. Helped me out with a last minute add on booking as well, and gave me more updates than just the Rover card about how he was doing.”

About: In college I was a house and pet sitter. I have had pets since I was in elementary school and am now a senior. I currently have three dogs of my own. I’m emotionally intelligent and good to work with. I work a half day as an Occupational Therapist educator in Wednesdays and as an OT practitioner on Fridays. I would be available in the afternoons on these days. I will not take care of pets in my home but am happy to come to yours to care for, walk, pet and feed your fur babies.
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I believe every dog deserves patience, kindness, and to feel safe—no matter their personality or energy level. Your pup won’t just have a sitter—they’ll become part of the pack! My two friendly, well-socialized dogs, Martín (Doberman/Lab mix) and Simon (Corgi/Heeler mix), love making new friends and help every guest feel right at home. Whether it’s a walk, daycare, or an overnight stay, your dog will receive the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I know your dog is family, and I’ll treat them like they’re part of mine. You can relax knowing your best friend is in safe, caring, and dependable hands. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s already my lifestyle. Every day revolves around walks, playtime, enrichment, and quality time with my two dogs, Martín and Simon. When your pup stays with us, they naturally become part of our routine and our family. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide plenty of one-on-one attention, exercise, potty breaks, cuddles, and supervised play throughout the day. My goal is simple: I want every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and excited to come back. While you’re away, you can have peace of mind knowing your best friend is being cared for just like one of my own. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and needs so they can feel as relaxed and at home as possible. Whether we’re enjoying walks, playtime, relaxing on the patio, or simply spending quality time together, your pup will always receive plenty of attention and supervision. I believe communication is just as important as great care, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, loved, and treated like family.
“Our dogs loved Kayla and her family. They took such good care of our dogs. Great communication and overall just a great person! It’s so refreshing to have a reliable person to love on our pups while we’re away.”

About: I’ve been living with dogs in my household since I was 2 years old. In that time, I’ve come to learn that each dog has their own individual needs and demands that must be uniquely met. I have developed a good understanding of each individual dog’s quirks and qualities. I am great at treating shy, nimble, introverted dogs with the gentle and respectful love that they need. On the other hand, I am great at treating rowdy, playful, outgoing dogs with the attentive and fun love that they need. I’ve learned how to have this dynamic empathy from years of dog sitting and dog walking my own dogs, and my neighbors dogs. I’m so stoked to meet your best friend! Using rover as a little side gig to help pay for my first year of college this fall! I am available from ~11am-4pm on Sunday-Wednesday + Fridays. About: I've grown up with animals my whole life, regularly assisting my mom with her own pet sitting jobs since I was about 14 years old and receiving my own clients when I became an adult. I have been employed at a local Animal Shelter since 2024, having gained lots of Fear Free handling and medicating experience with both dogs and cats. I also have 3 cats of my own and my roommate has 3 cats as well, with varying personalities/sensitivities. I have full availability on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, and work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday with a set schedule from 8am-6pm. I do get an hour lunch so I can also make a quick visit during that time. I've learned Fear Free handling methods from my workplace, regularly practicing patience and reading a pet's body language to understand when they start to become uncomfortable. I will adjust to your pet's needs to make this time as comfortable as I can.
“Leaving our cats and dog with someone new made me nervous, but Luca completely exceeded my expectations. Luca came for a meet-and-greet beforehand and asked questions about our cats and dog's routine. Luca sent multiple photos daily, giving total peace of mind. I highly recommend and will absolutely booking again.”

“Jackie was great and kept me updated on my kitties, which was especially important since on had epilepsy. She called when necessary and provided great care. Thank you Jackie!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
