“Maellen was extremely patient and understanding with Odi and helped me feel at ease leaving him in someone elses home for the first time! She sent lots of photos and clearly gave him lots of love :)”

“Brandi was so kind and sent me photos often while we were gone. When Puddles didn't feel well she let me know and did her best to keep my pup comfortable and happy.”

“I was nervous to leave my baby to an unknown sitter. I talked with Brian, he scheduled a meet and greet, answered all my questions, able to see inside/outside of home - both Brian and my fur baby hit it off. Was able to text, received photos and updates. Such a relief to know she was in good hands. Thank you very much, definitely would recommend Brian and Jerri.”

“Another successful stay with Cecilia and Dan! This time, when I was getting Buddy’s things together to go over there, I told him he was going to see them, and he got super-excited and ran to the door repeatedly! He even jumped in the car before it was time for us to head over there! Pretty safe to say that Buddy loves being with them, and that makes us happy!”

“These folks were great watching our dogs. They came home happy. Lots of pictures of them having a great time over there. Would most def use their pet sitting services again.”

“Brian took excellent care of my 12 lb dachshund, Peaches. When we picked her up she was unstressed, laying comfortably in Brian’s arms. He texted me a status photo during the day which I greatly appreciated.”
“It didn’t take me long to know that I was comfortable leaving my two dogs with Bonnie for our recent 5 day vacation. She lives in a nice neighborhood, she has a secure backyard and Bonnie has a calm demeanor. My dogs often will not eat when I leave them but Bonnie treated them like they were her own dogs and fed them rotisserie chicken and Fresh Pet chicken and rice so this was not a problem. My flight reservation was unexpectedly changed and the dogs had to stay an extra night. Bonnie was very understanding and flexible. I would definitely use Bonnie again and I highly recommend her as your pet sitter.”

“Rosalia and her partner took great care of our puppy. She would send us updates and pics everyday. My pup was very comfortable with them and they him all the love they could. I would recommend them anytime.”

“First time using Mina and Hannah and they were great. We received many updates and pictures and our dog had a couple of walks in a short stay. Also quick to respond with the booking process.”

“Crystal was very accommodating and flexible on a last minute request. Brown Dog and I moved just a few days ago and have been anxious, but Crystal and her dogs put us at ease immediately with the chill energy in the home. I think he loved his sleepover with his new friends!”

“Patricia always does a great job taking care of my doggies. One of my dogs in particular is pretty emotionally sensitive, but seems to have a good time at Patricia's and always appears relaxed and happy in the pictures and videos Patricia sends. Patricia has also been able and willing to administer medicine and feed according to specific instructions. She was very flexible with us picking up the dogs later than anticipated after flight delays. Very happy we've found such a great sitter for our beloved dogs. She makes this part of traveling so much easier on me!”

“Amazing service and wonderful dog sitters. They went above and beyond and my experience was absolutely fantastic. They kept in touch and provided pictures. I will definitely be rebooking again.”

“Shell did an incredible job to make us feel comfortable about leaving our two anxious and under socialized pups with her. It was our first time using Rover and we needed to make some extended travel, for an undetermined amount of time (it ended up being nearly two months), and all on short notice. She let us see the accommodations, let the pups stay for an extended trial play date to get comfortable, and was terrific with communication throughout the booking. We'll absolutely go with Shell again in the future and are done using the kennels / pet hotels we've used in the past.”

“Josie and her husband made our little man Yoshi feel like family. She offeted great communication and checked in with daily updates. He ate well, got daily walks, and tons of playtime and cuddles. Very dog friendly home with toys and beds galore and a large backyard to play in. Paco the resident dog is friendly and playful. I recommend Josie 100%.”

“Ashleigh and her family were great with my two dogs. It had been awhile since I boarded them and she made them feel right at home and sent pictures of them and sent updates frequently during their stay and made me feel at ease while they were in her care. My return trip was delayed and she was accommodating and flexible with the pickup time. I’ll definitely rebook with Ashleigh for future trips!”

“Liz was absolutely amazing with Muppet! Great communication and flexibility. She sent us daily messages with updates about Muppet's day, and lots of pictures. Liz was very professional, friendly, and loving with Muppet. Thank you so much, Liz!”

“Savannah took really good care of Maple. She was patient, understanding of her unique needs and helped fixed a nutrient problem we didn't realize was an issue. Maple came back "smiling" with the zoomies. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Isabella is amazing, she's watched our pups a couple times and we will use her in the future. She has great communication and always sends daily updates and pictures. The pups love her!”

“Thomas, Matthew and George cordially welcomed my fur baby into their home. I was provided with updates and photos during my pups stay. I will definitely book another stay in the near future.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rio Rancho
Brian is so gentle and our puppy really needed that for her first time away from us. She is 10 months old and we were unsure of how she would do with several dogs. We were pleasantly surprised to get pictures of her with the other dogs, happily playing. So grateful for our first visit!

My doggy passed on last week, and I am still very heartbroken, but I wanted to leave a review for Billy. I travel extensively for work, and over the past 3 years or more I have trusted Billy to take care of Finn. Finn was a rescue pup 13 years ago and had a tough puppyhood and was very afraid of people. He warmed up to Billy pretty quickly, and I sometimes would have to leave him with Billy for 3 weeks to sometimes over a month as I work overseas. I would get regularly updated reports and pictures, and I always felt that Finn was in good safe hands. I highly recommend Billy, he is a serious, trustworthy and reliable person to leave your pet with!

Tatiana did an absolutely amazing job of taking care of our little guy. Caring for a deaf dog is not always easy but she did a wonderful job! She sent great updates and was so easy to communicate and work with! Thank you again for taking such great care of our Lenny boy!

Lucy was immediately comfortable with Pat. Dogs know who loves them. All our communications were clear and quick. There was flexibility in the pickup and drop off times. We felt Lucy was well cared for and didn’t worry about her at all, knowing that she felt good in a good place.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
