“Maellen was amazing with my dog Luna. Luna is very afraid of new people but warmed up to Maellen very quickly. She loved all the walks and love Maellen gave her! I will definitely book her for any and all future trips. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Boarding at Brian's was a great experience. I received updates on my dogs. Both were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I really appreciate the excellent service and will be a repeat customer.”
“Bonni was wonderful and we would recommend her to everyone. Our fur baby, Nippet, was so well taken care of and had a great time! Thank you, Bonni!”

“Brandi was an amazing choice when boarding Ace who hadn’t had a lot of time outside of the house. Ace loved her dog Aries and her kids as well! The kids didn’t want Ace to leave and loved on him the whole time, which made me so happy. She also has a lot of experience and taught him a couple new tricks while I was gone. She went above and beyond to learn about Ace and even had him sleep in a bigger crate than the one I brought, to ensure he was happy. Her whole family is the sweetest and I can’t wait to book with her again!!!”

“Another successful stay with Cecilia and Dan! This time, when I was getting Buddy’s things together to go over there, I told him he was going to see them, and he got super-excited and ran to the door repeatedly! He even jumped in the car before it was time for us to head over there! Pretty safe to say that Buddy loves being with them, and that makes us happy!”

“Shell is always so amazing, we needed a sitter last minute and she was able to accommodate us! Archer was so excited once we showed up, he was welcoming himself inside. paisley is a little more timid but by the end of the stay Shell has her feeling more comfortable. We will be using her service again 10/10”

“My dog Ariel had a very good stay at Mike’s. She is usually scared of men and prone to separation anxiety. She felt right at home with Mike! Communication with him was easy, his home is great to host and the neighborhood seems safe for dog walks. I would trust him with my precious companion again!”

“Jamie & Patrick H were absolutely wonderful with my dogs while I was away. This was my first time using Rover, and they made the entire experience easy and stress-free from start to finish. They took excellent care of my pups and communicated with me every day, sending updates that really helped put my mind at ease while I was away . It was clear my dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I will definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring sitters.”

“Rosalia was amazing! She kept me updated all day with messages & tons of cute pictures. My dog looked happy and loved all the cuddles given to her. Her dog Kiki was such a good girl too, she didn't mind sharing the attention. If I lived in Albuquerque, I'd totally book Rosalia everytime!”

“Crystal was amazing! She was extremely quick to communicate and gave me updates throughout Emma‘s stay with her. Emma almost didn’t wanna leave ! Would highly recommend her to anyone in the area!”

“Celine is always amazing! Our girl Juniper is eager to greet her every time and we get updates daily of her living her best life while staying with Celine!”

“Savannah was amazing! Extremely communicative radically from the Dan. Super thankful she was able to take care of Joey while on vacation! Would highly recommend and would absolutely go to again!”

“Brian has a good system and is quite knowledgeable about dog behaviors which helps with intros with the dogs and when they come in pairs. Asks good questions to get to know them and help make them comfortable. I like the fact that my dogs could be right with Brian if they wanted. Flexible setup and accomodating”

“Fantastic experience with Josie and Paco feel like we left our dog with extended family. Luska will miss them terribly. Communication was great, the updates made us feel better about leaving our puppy. Thanks again, Josie”

“Max always gets so excited to go to Chad‘s house. It’s like we’re going to visit his doggy family. Chad is very careful in picking the other dogs that he watches so Max has always had a good experience if another dog is there”

“Pat is great. I was so worried to leave my puppy with someone else but Pat is so kind and took all my worries away. Bella was with her for two nights and I'm pretty sure she had a great time. She really likes Pat and we will definitley use her service again. We highly recommend Pat.”
“I absolutely recommend Bill to care for your pup. My guy loved his stay with Bill and his family. I was a nervous mom dropping her boy off, but Bill made the drop-off smooth. I received daily pictures and knew my dog was being well taken care of, even a little spoiled. Thanks Bill!”

Brandi took great care of Mika while I was away. Communication was clear and consistent, and I especially loved receiving picture updates they were my favorite part and gave me peace of mind knowing Mika was happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Brandi to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Shell, her niece, and nephew were very accommodating to our specific needs. Our dogs immediately felt calm and at ease in their presence. When I would text to ask how the dogs were doing, pictures and an update were sent right away. Our 4 dogs are used to being the only dogs at the pet sitter's house, and we had not realized there would be many more dogs staying at the same time. However, Shell's niece and nephew went above and beyond with our dogs to reach our comfort level, and for that, we were truly grateful. We feel our dogs were very well taken care of.

My doggy passed on last week, and I am still very heartbroken, but I wanted to leave a review for Billy. I travel extensively for work, and over the past 3 years or more I have trusted Billy to take care of Finn. Finn was a rescue pup 13 years ago and had a tough puppyhood and was very afraid of people. He warmed up to Billy pretty quickly, and I sometimes would have to leave him with Billy for 3 weeks to sometimes over a month as I work overseas. I would get regularly updated reports and pictures, and I always felt that Finn was in good safe hands. I highly recommend Billy, he is a serious, trustworthy and reliable person to leave your pet with!

Tatiana did an absolutely amazing job of taking care of our little guy. Caring for a deaf dog is not always easy but she did a wonderful job! She sent great updates and was so easy to communicate and work with! Thank you again for taking such great care of our Lenny boy!

Lucy was immediately comfortable with Pat. Dogs know who loves them. All our communications were clear and quick. There was flexibility in the pickup and drop off times. We felt Lucy was well cared for and didn’t worry about her at all, knowing that she felt good in a good place.

I can’t recommend Rachael G. highly enough! From the moment we met, I knew my pets were in the best hands. She went above and beyond to make sure my three high energy dogs felt safe, loved, and comfortable while I was away. I received daily updates, adorable photos, and thoughtful check-ins that gave me total peace of mind. When I returned home, my pets were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for—like they had been on vacation! The attention to detail, genuine love for animals, and professional reliability truly set Rachael apart. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who treats your furry family like their own, look no further. 🐾 I’m so grateful to have found Rachael and I’ll never use anyone else!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NM ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
