What sets us apart is our experience caring for dogs through every stage of life. Last year, we said goodbye to our beloved 17-year-old black Labrador, Bella. Caring for her in her senior years taught us patience, compassion, and the importance of individualized care. We are comfortable caring for puppies, active adult dogs, and seniors who may need medication, extra potty breaks, or a slower pace. We are also Airbnb Superhosts and understand the importance of trust, communication, and providing exceptional care. In addition to caring for our own dogs, we've been pet sitting for friends and family for years and genuinely love welcoming animals into our home. We share our home with our two friendly dogs, Holly and Philbert. To ensure everyone's safety and comfort, all guest dogs must be friendly and non-aggressive. We require a meet and greet to make sure all dogs are a good fit and comfortable together. You can expect plenty of love, attention, updates, and photos during your dog's stay. Our goal is simple: treat every dog like family and give you peace of mind while you're away. Pet care is already a big part of our daily life! I am home full-time, so dogs in my care receive plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and affection throughout the day. My wife Amanda and I take our dogs, Holly and Philbert, on daily walks and make sure they get lots of exercise and affection. On weekends, we love taking them on adventures such as hikes, trips to the park, dog-friendly outings, and play dates. If your dog enjoys being active, we'll do our best to keep them engaged while also respecting their individual energy level and routine. Whether your pup is an energetic explorer or a laid-back couch companion, we'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are our top priorities. Dogs staying in our home have plenty of space to relax, play, and feel like part of the family. We have a dedicated dog room equipped with a dog door that provides access to a secure outdoor dog run, as well as a fully fenced backyard for supervised play and exercise. For cleanliness and safety, guest dogs have access to the tiled areas of our home, including the dedicated dog space and common areas, which are easy to keep clean and comfortable for everyone. My wife Amanda and I are experienced dog owners, and I am home full-time, so dogs receive plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. We follow each dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, crate routines, and any special care instructions. For everyone's safety, all dogs are required to complete a meet-and-greet to ensure they are a good fit with our dogs, Holly and Philbert, and our home environment. We do not leave dogs unattended for extended periods. The only exceptions would be brief errands when necessary, and dogs will always be safely secured and comfortable during that time. We provide regular updates and photos throughout your dog's stay so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: For more than 30 years, I have cared for my own as well as my children's pets and loved every minute of it. I am retired and I try not to take dogs from more than one family at a time. In addition, I do not currently have any pets of my own. This allows me to provide individualized and specialized care, love and attention to your pet, rather than sharing my time and attention with many pets. Your pet will be a part of the family, in a home away from home, rather than being in a small confined space while you are gone. This is one unique aspect of my pet care services that differs from many pet sitters, boarders and kennels. I own a good size ranch style home with a large fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. Before retiring, I worked as a licensed nurse for 43 years and raised two amazing successful children, during which we welcomed dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and fish into our home. I have cared for pets of friends, family, and love being a pet sitter. I am also licensed by the City of Rio Rancho to provide Dog Boarding and Pet Sitting services. I would love to care for your pets and provide them with love and companionship as if they were my own.

About: I wanted a dog my whole life but my parents weren't pet people. I finally got my own dog as an adult when I also had two toddlers. It was way more work than I thought it would be, but training my puppy and watching him grow and teaching my kids about caring for a dog was so incredibly fulfilling! I loved learning about training and dog behavior and psychology and learned so much! I love all animals and especially love dogs and would love to share that love with your dog too!! I am a full time stay at home mom so my schedule is very flexible. Two of my kids are in school all day and I have a 2 year old who is home with me all day. I spend most of my time at home, with the occasional outings and errand running. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can fit your dog's schedule easily into mine. I can do potty breaks and walks whenever necessary and I live near a couple parks with dog runs that I like to take my dog to, so I could easily bring your dog as well. Though I am busy with 3 kids, I'm never too busy to love and care for extra pets! I have a fenced yard where your dog can go out for potty breaks. It is not a huge yard, but it is safe with rocks and turf where my dog uses the bathroom. My dog is inside for pretty much the whole day so your dog would be with him inside as well. I do have 3 kids, so your dog needs to be ok with small children, but they have all grown up with a dog and know how to be kind and respectful to dogs.
