About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, giving me firsthand experience with their unique personalities, needs, and proper care. More recently, I was a member on another pet sitting website when I was a student at a university in Paris,France, where I had experience taking care of dogs and cats in my own apartment for a few different families for a period of time. The best part about watching pets is the pleasure I get from being able to give them love while their owners were away. I’ll be home in New Mexico for a few months before I return to Paris so my availability is completely open. I can watch pets any day and any hour. I’ll closely follow a pets routine, providing fresh water, food as instructed, exercise/playtime, medication if needed, a safe environment, and of course lots of love and affection.
About: I have had dogs for most of my life and have dog sat for friends and family over the years. My husband and I have a Westie who is 14 years old but still very spunky! My habit is to bring my own supplies, so when you get home, everything is how you left it. I have a ukulele and I sing familiar covers, so I’ll mention it now in case the neighbors mention something about it. (I have yet to have a dog howl as I sang, though the huskies were very talkative.) Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?
About: In college I was a house and pet sitter. I have had pets since I was in elementary school and am now a senior. I currently have three dogs of my own. I’m emotionally intelligent and good to work with. I work a half day as an Occupational Therapist educator in Wednesdays and as an OT practitioner on Fridays. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. Since I was 12, it’s been my responsibility to take care of our English Setter. This began with me helping to train him. My role was to reinforce the lessons taught at the PetSmart classes. I’ve regularly walked, bathed, and taken to the vet our dog as well. About: I have had pets ever since I was 3 years old, I am now 20 and have lots of experience with taking care of them.
