About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life! I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I am extremely comfortable and confident around your babies! I have 8+ years of experience walking dogs as well as pet sitting! I have experience with special needs dogs as I have my own, I don’t mind cleaning cages and have experience giving oral medication. I am comfortable around all dogs no matter the size and can quickly adapt to their needs, I know what to do in stressful situations and know how to navigate situations calmly, efficiently and safely. I cannot wait to meet you guys! I am currently working a part time job and around 4-5 days a week lasting 4-5 hours, I have plenty of time to spend with your babies! I have a completely fenced in yard, as well as one very friendly dog and one friendly cat! Both of my animals are great around other animals and I take them both out in the morning, night, and usually I’ll wake up and have to take my dog out!

About: I have over 16 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles and fish. (I am a fast learner and would love to care for animals outside of these as well!) I also have experience giving medication to pets. My services include house-sitting, so your pets stay home where they’re comfortable. I have decades of experience with a variety of breeds. Let’s talk about what worries you and we’ll find a solution everyone is happy with! I’d prefer to visit your pets before securing the booking, to make sure we all get along. I am self employed and pet care is one of the ways I earn my living. I also work remotely for some of my clients and use the wi-fi to get tasks done. I have been house/pet sitting for decades. I treat your home as if I was a welcome guest, but not a part of the household. Over the years, I’ve had jobs where I was bonded for security, which means I have a clean record. My idea of a party is a bowl of ice cream and a movie (sci-fi, British drama). Before we book anything, I’d like to stop by the house and give the critter(s) a chance to get a good look/smell of me and you can give me the lay of the land. Housesitting: I’m being hired to keep the critter(s) company, and that’s what I do. Nana comes to visit and keeping the house safe and the animal(s) safe and happy is my primary duty. My habit is to bring my own supplies, so when you get home, everything is how you left it. I have a ukulele and I sing familiar covers, so I’ll mention it now in case the neighbors mention something about it. (I have yet to have a dog howl as I sang, though the huskies were very talkative.) Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?

I’ll have my 4 year old with me, when she’s not in daycare. I am busy, but I know we can find time for your pets. I’m available evenings, definitely weekends, and holidays. I will never leave your pets alone for extended hours. Especially if they require extra attention. They will be safe and get the attention, love, and potty breaks needed.

About: I used to work for a company that did house soft and dog training. 12 years of animal experience. I will check on animals and attend to them no matter the circumstances. I used to be a dog trainer and can help teach many cues. I work during the day but during the night and weekends I can help. I work full time at an animal shelter as a behavior Specialist. I can care for the animals overnight and before and after work. If needed I can do an afternoon check in. I work from 9am to 6pm at my other job. I treat the clients pet like my own. I feed them and care for them. I want to build a relationship with them and make them feel safe.

About: Since a kid I've been surrounded by dogs. I was taught young how to care for and interact with them. Since then I've always had pets and made sure they lived the best lives they possibly could. While I don't have any sort of specialized skills when it comes to pet care I do have plenty of experience. The majority of my adult life has been spent in the military and security industry. Giving me the required skills to provide a safe and secure environment for your fur child. I am currently working part time with a very open schedule. I'm free most days except from the times of 5pm to 8pm usually. Leaving me plenty of time to check on your pets. I have an enclosed yard with two dogs at home. One small and one big. About: I grew up in a house full of animals. As long as I can remember, my family has lived with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, lizards, frogs, snails, salamanders and all manner of wild backyard critters as well to attend. I was raised to respect these animals as well as attend to their needs. I believe love and respect go hand-in-hand, and I love creatures of all shapes and sizes! Since I was old enough to babysit, I was also pet-sitting! I believe that animals are not only our friends and our kindred spirits, but also our duty to care for well. I spent time working as a pet nutritional expert at a store in Austin, TX, and that experience only increased my passion for animals and their well-being. I love to travel, and know that it makes all the difference to leave someone you trust with your critters. My headline includes my vision statement; I endeavor to become a friend to your pet, and while you're away, provide my full presence, my dedicated care, and my joy at being with them. I'm a graduate student at UNM, so my class schedule is mostly afternoons right now. My cat's a rather needy fellow, so he's happiest when I'm home. I make sure to make time to spend with him on weekends, mornings, and evenings, and spend time making up for missed cuddles then. I keep his areas very clean, he drinks only from a fountain, and I keep him to a strict feeding schedule (much to his chagrin and occasional break-in attempts of the food container). My frogs, Gus and Markl, need live food once a week and clean water every day, and I maintain a heat lamp schedule for them as well, as well as regular maintenance to their bioactive terrarium. When my parents are out of town, I take care of our two dogs, Lilo and Clara, and nine chickens. The dogs need to be walked, the chickens need to be fed and their eggbox cleaned, and there's lots to do to make sure everyone is comfortable. Lilo's pretty anxious, and Clara's getting up in years, so I make time in my work schedule to return home midday to check on them if I'm out and about. Depending on your pet's needs, I'm flexible in terms of schedule. :) It's important to me that you are confident in your pets' safety and comfort. I will not take dogs outside without a leash, unless they are in a fenced-in yard, and I don't let cats outside unleashed on principle as I believe this makes them a danger to themselves, other cats, and smaller animals. You can expect photos from me of your pets if you'd like them, and if they let me I'll happily clean out eye-boogers, snuggle with them, and ensure that they have love and companionship during the stressful time you're away.
