About: Ever since I can remember, I've had a furry friend by my side. I've had dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and birds. I'll be more than happy to hang out with whatever species your babies are! I work nights, so im available pretty much every day to check in on your pets and/or take them on a walk. I work nights, so I'm usually available from 9:30am-4pm for walks and drop-ins, but occasionally I'm available past 4. I try to be as flexible as I can, and am usually available for short notice pet care. Please let me know if there are any special care instructions for your babies! I prefer to care for pets in their own home, but if your pet is okay around other dogs, I am happy to watch them in my home as well. I have a decent sized fenced yard, as well as 3 dogs and 2 cats. (Please let me know if your pet does not get along with other animals!) When I'm caring for pets in your home, I take care to respect your privacy and only go in the parts of your house that are necessary.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life! I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I am extremely comfortable and confident around your babies! I have 8+ years of experience walking dogs as well as pet sitting! I have experience with special needs dogs as I have my own, I don’t mind cleaning cages and have experience giving oral medication. I am comfortable around all dogs no matter the size and can quickly adapt to their needs, I know what to do in stressful situations and know how to navigate situations calmly, efficiently and safely. I cannot wait to meet you guys! I am currently working a part time job and around 4-5 days a week lasting 4-5 hours, I have plenty of time to spend with your babies! I have a completely fenced in yard, as well as one very friendly dog and one friendly cat! About: I grew up in a house full of animals. As long as I can remember, my family has lived with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, lizards, frogs, snails, salamanders and all manner of wild backyard critters as well to attend. I was raised to respect these animals as well as attend to their needs. I believe love and respect go hand-in-hand, and I love creatures of all shapes and sizes! Since I was old enough to babysit, I was also pet-sitting! I believe that animals are not only our friends and our kindred spirits, but also our duty to care for well. I spent time working as a pet nutritional expert at a store in Austin, TX, and that experience only increased my passion for animals and their well-being. I love to travel, and know that it makes all the difference to leave someone you trust with your critters. My headline includes my vision statement; I endeavor to become a friend to your pet, and while you're away, provide my full presence, my dedicated care, and my joy at being with them. I'm a graduate student at UNM, so my class schedule is mostly afternoons right now. My cat's a rather needy fellow, so he's happiest when I'm home. I make sure to make time to spend with him on weekends, mornings, and evenings, and spend time making up for missed cuddles then. I keep his areas very clean, he drinks only from a fountain, and I keep him to a strict feeding schedule (much to his chagrin and occasional break-in attempts of the food container). My frogs, Gus and Markl, need live food once a week and clean water every day, and I maintain a heat lamp schedule for them as well, as well as regular maintenance to their bioactive terrarium. When my parents are out of town, I take care of our two dogs, Lilo and Clara, and nine chickens. The dogs need to be walked, the chickens need to be fed and their eggbox cleaned, and there's lots to do to make sure everyone is comfortable. Lilo's pretty anxious, and Clara's getting up in years, so I make time in my work schedule to return home midday to check on them if I'm out and about. Depending on your pet's needs, I'm flexible in terms of schedule. :) It's important to me that you are confident in your pets' safety and comfort. I will not take dogs outside without a leash, unless they are in a fenced-in yard, and I don't let cats outside unleashed on principle as I believe this makes them a danger to themselves, other cats, and smaller animals. You can expect photos from me of your pets if you'd like them, and if they let me I'll happily clean out eye-boogers, snuggle with them, and ensure that they have love and companionship during the stressful time you're away.

Housesitting: I’m being hired to keep the critter(s) company, and that’s what I do. Nana comes to visit and keeping the house safe and the animal(s) safe and happy is my primary duty. My habit is to bring my own supplies, so when you get home, everything is how you left it. I have a ukulele and I sing familiar covers, so I’ll mention it now in case the neighbors mention something about it. (I have yet to have a dog howl as I sang, though the huskies were very talkative.) Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?

About: Hello! I’m Miranda and I love animals, I have volunteered at my local animal shelter for almost a year! I helped with dog walking, socializing the dogs with people and with community events to help the light shine over our animals. I’m going to be a substitute teacher for this next school year! During the summer I am wanting to stay active and make new furry friends along the way. I’ll be available during the weekends when the school year is in session, but I am also committed to work a schedule after school hours as well. I have a fenced yard and some sections of my yard have a separate fence so my small dog can explore without being close to the road. She has her own car seat on my vehicle. Volunteering at the animal shelter has helped me specialize in high anxiety dogs and very active big dogs.

I grew up with several rescue dogs, from small to large, and breeds of all sorts. Therefore, I learned the responsibility of caring for and walking dogs at a very young age.
