It’s good to know what your dog is like - do they like other dogs, other people. Are they home bodies or do they love to get out an explore. Activity level is important to understand. My dogs are very active but not all dogs are. Are there special food needs/things to avoid/medicines Does your dog react poorly to thunderstorms? Mine does so I know to make sure he is in his safe space with calm music and a blanket. In general, let me know what would make your pet happy which you are not with them so that I can make them as comfortable and happy as possible. I have traveled much over the years and I know it can be unnerving to leave your pets in the care of another. There is never too much information shared!

Walks through the neighborhood, play fetch in an open space or in your yard. Whatever your dog enjoys that you feel comfortable with them doing, I can do. My dogs love walks in parks, open space, trails, dog park play, fetch, swimming. We often go in search of new places to play where they can get a good run on and new sniffs. Often we have dogs over for stays and we will all pile in the car and find a large open area spec to play and wander. Having moved to Placitas from Ohio, we do not have as much grass in our yard as we used to, so we have found some wonderful parks to go play in. We do have a large pool and if your dogs are social and want to stay over, they can come for a swim. We have a ramp for east entry if they don’t like stairs and I have life jackets for dogs if they are not frequent swimmers. If your pooch is more of a snuggle lover, we can do that too!
