About: I have over 10 years experience caring for cats of my own as well as my friends cats. However, my childhood was filled with cats and I just love all of their quirky personalities traits. My own cat is very particular about who she lets pet her and I'm proud to say I'm high up on that list. I'm adaptable and comfortable with all types of cats - young and old, sassy and chill, shy and wild. I'm a great communicator and will provide regular updates and pictures on how your cat is doing. I want to be able to give you peace of mind while you're away and to do so, I'll do my best to learn how best to take care of your cat. I have great attention to detail so if you provide a care instruction, you can rest assured that it won't go unnoticed. I'm comfortable giving your cat food, water, and treats. I'm also comfortable cleaning out litter boxes. My schedule is flexible as I am currently home full time and I can accept last minute bookings. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns so that I can help put your mind at ease. I look forward to working with you and your cat(s)!

About: I've been around cats literally my whole life! From kittens to ancient kitties, I'll follow their lead. Whether they want to play, just be pet, or not even make eye contact while I give them treats 😂 cats have a special place in my heart.
“Victoria was awesome! She was very responsive and on time. She sent a lot of photos and a nice summary of how Mia was doing and how well she was eating and so on. She also went the extra mile and brought in some packages that were left on our doorstep while we were away! Definitely will use her again!”

“Kerianne was an amazing cat sitter. She did everything I asked perfectly with my senior cat that requires daily medicine. Her daily notes were great and thorough. I didnt have to worry at all while away for a long weekend. I would highly recommend her!”

“Sara did amazing and well exceeded my expectations for the care of my cats! She gave great updates and sent wonderful pictures. Would love to have her take care of my cats again.”

“Leaving our cats and dog with someone new made me nervous, but Luca completely exceeded my expectations. Luca came for a meet-and-greet beforehand and asked questions about our cats and dog's routine. Luca sent multiple photos daily, giving total peace of mind. I highly recommend and will absolutely booking again.”

About: My name is Yolanda Patricia. I understand that most of us pet owners love our little ones as part of our family and the importance for a reliable, loving, caring nanny who can nurse and care for pets. My big love for all kinds of house pets has brought me to the desire to be a pet caregiver while owners are away for work, vacations or owner not being able to provide care for the pet in that moment. I have a lifetime experience with pets since throughout my life I owned and cared for dogs, cats, reptiles and birds. Certified dog walker from IAP career college. Worked as a dog groomer for PetSmart from 2002 to 2006. Dog walker in the year 2002 in Dallas, Texas. I'm currently working as a care giver on Friday Saturday and Sunday. This schedule opens a 4 day window for me to take care of pets. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are available days when I can fit your pets in my schedule for potty breaks, medications, meal time and dog walking. When I come in the first thing is to make sure pets are fine by observing their behavior, guide them to their potty break or play time, check mail, lights in the house whether is day or night, check door locks, make sure pets have a clean area, food and water.
“For some reason my cat didn’t want to come out for Sarah, but I believe she did everything I asked. She worked with my schedule and responded to requests. My door wasn’t fully closed when I got back, which was concerning but luckily no one got in or out, so this didn’t end up impacting the cat or security.”

“"Kat" B. provided an incredible experience when she took care of my two cats and the house. The cats loved spending time with her, and she followed all the instructions and did extra tasks without being asked. The "Kat" has the special animal magic due to her knowledge and experiences with a diverse population of animals!. I would not hesitate to contact her to take care of your pets. You will be happy with what she can provide for your most important family members. Thank you for all you did Kat, and I look forward to seeing you again.”

“Desirea was exactly what we were looking for — someone to come check on our cat, give her some love, attention, and play time, and feed her in the morning. She even was willing to come over and meet me and my cat ahead of time to get to know us. She sent us pictures and was very easy to communicate with the whole time. We’ll definitely reach back out to her the next time we’re headed out of town!”

About: Hi, I’m Mary! I’m a Registered Dental Hygienist who pet sits on the side because I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals. Providing loving, reliable care for your pets is something I truly enjoy, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to help families with their furry companions. I do have a busy schedule during the week, so if you are booking with me and need specific services, times, or hours, please be sure to communicate those details when making your booking request. My time is just as valuable as yours, and I’ve found that the app doesn’t always clearly communicate exact expectations. For example, a booking may show a broad time frame, such as 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, without specifying how long you actually need me there. To make sure we’re all on the same page and that I can provide the best care possible, please include any specific scheduling needs or expectations in your booking request. For safety and comfort, I am never alone during visits. My family members help me at all times. During a meet-and-greet, you may meet my sister, Abigail, or my partner, Coral. Depending on the situation, especially if a booking may be more challenging, my uncle may also assist. He always accompanies my sister when helping. We believe in maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for everyone involved, including your pets. Thank you so much for trusting me with your pets and for giving me the opportunity to care for them. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! We can always talk when you are wanting to book with me, and we can see if our days will be able to correlate so that it works for your needs. I always show the animals love and just give them time to warm up. Most of the times my clients leave me notes and tasks to accomplish while they are away.
“Thank you Martina!! The kitties were relaxed and happy when we got home. Martina left our house in great condition and took care of all our plants as well. She was quick to respond and asked good questions about the care of the kitties and our house. I highly recommend her for those looking for a reliable house and pet sitter!”

“Victoria was great! She was able to watch my pups on short notice and responded quickly to my questions. My girls got to hang outside and enjoy the great views from the yard.”

About: I wanted a dog my whole life but my parents weren't pet people. I finally got my own dog as an adult when I also had two toddlers. It was way more work than I thought it would be, but training my puppy and watching him grow and teaching my kids about caring for a dog was so incredibly fulfilling! I loved learning about training and dog behavior and psychology and learned so much! I love all animals and especially love dogs and would love to share that love with your dog too!! I am a full time stay at home mom so my schedule is very flexible. Two of my kids are in school all day and I have a 2 year old who is home with me all day. I spend most of my time at home, with the occasional outings and errand running. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can fit your dog's schedule easily into mine. I can do potty breaks and walks whenever necessary and I live near a couple parks with dog runs that I like to take my dog to, so I could easily bring your dog as well. Though I am busy with 3 kids, I'm never too busy to love and care for extra pets! I have a fenced yard where your dog can go out for potty breaks. It is not a huge yard, but it is safe with rocks and turf where my dog uses the bathroom. My dog is inside for pretty much the whole day so your dog would be with him inside as well. I do have 3 kids, so your dog needs to be ok with small children, but they have all grown up with a dog and know how to be kind and respectful to dogs.
“First time using a pup sitter, so definitely first time using Rover. It went great, especially since it was a last minute needed booking. Michael was just great with Rio! Thank you, Michael”

About: As a life long pet owner, I have had great report with animals of all sizes. I have trained and enjoyed a kennel free environment. All my dogs have had happy lives and great disposition with kids and other animals. I will provide a safe and loving home for your dog where they will receive a ton of love and petting. I love that my dog will follow me around and look for any moment to get petting and affection; even will force my bathroom door open, knowing I am a captive audience. I look forward to doing the same for your pooch. I have walked dogs both short and long distances. Thank you for your consideration and look forward to meeting your family member (dog).
“FIRST TIME USING THEM ….. AND THEY WERE GREAT SITTERS ….WILL USE AGIAN …. Love that they kept us informed and updated of there stay 5stars all day long …. Love Thor and Red”

“Brian & Jerri love, love, love pups, all kinds & sizes and they have such an amazing big, backyard. They have a great setup for daycare and boarding, and they’re a great, kind couple. I look forward to booking my Rio with them many, many times.”

“Brian was fantastic. Watson had a great time. Came home tired and relaxed. Brian’s yard was clean and safe for my boy. Play time with Brian’s lab was a great bonus. I will be using Brian again.”

“Madelyn was fantastic. She was flexible and easy to communicate with, and she took great care of our pup. If we're in Santa Fe again we won't hesitate to book her again! Thanks Madelyn!”
“Absolutely the best sitter I've ever had! My dog can be a handful, but Arysta handes him with grace and a smile. He always comes home exhausted from all the fun he has. The only sitter I'll ever use”

“I was visiting town and needed a last-minute dog daycare option, and she was fantastic. She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. She quickly became part of the pack, played with the other dogs, and came back happily exhausted. She also sent photos and text updates, which I really appreciated. I especially liked how attentive she was with my pup’s prescribed medication. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was safe, cared for, and having a great time while I was away. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs, and I have trained puppies to learn basic obedience along with tricks. I have pet-sat for family members before, and I love taking dogs for walks. I am home for the summer, from college, so I will have plenty of time to walk dogs and take care of them at home. I have a fenced in yard, and 3 friendly dogs that can keep your dog company. We have a dog door that leads from the inside of our house to the backyard, so they are free to go outside whenever they want.
“Christina is a very thoughtful sitter! She has a great set up. Extra dog crates, a gate before the door so no one runs out, covered couch she lets the dogs up on, and a good little yard. My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! Told me not to rush and sent a ton of pictures letting me know Lyra was having a good time. She even let me book last minute with a quick meet and greet the night before. Thanks Christina!”

“What an amazing peace of mind!! My dog came back happy and so well taken care of! Will be booking again!! Thank you so much for your love and care to animals!”

“We needed daycare for our small pup while traveling so we could go to a museum. Shell was responsive when scheduling and attuned to our dogs needs while he was there. Good experience all around!”

“Brandi is so nice and caring with her dogs and was the same with my dog, Buttercup. She helped make the introductions between Buttercup and her dogs go smoothly by slowly letting them meet each other. She sends pictures and updates throughout the day to keep you updated on the fun times your dog is having. Buttercup had a great time playing with Charlie and Jasmine. I was very reassured when I dropped Buttercup off and was very happy when I picked her up and saw how happy she was. Would definitely recommend Brandi to anyone looking for a safe, fun dog sitting experience.”

“Remy had so much fun at doggy day care with Venise! She is so sweet and loving with the pups and has a nice spacious home & yard for them to play. We are so happy we found Venise and will definitely be booking with her again!!”

“Lauren and Devan were so great helping my nervous little dog get comfortable and feel at home on long days in a strange place. I felt she was safe around other dogs and was so glad that she got more playful and relaxed after being there for a short time”

“Ashleigh is wonderful! ‘Chandler’ took to her right away. She’s not only reliable, but quite accommodating with my changing schedule. She’s a true dog lover and I highly recommend her.”
About: I am an avid animal lover and love my own dogs more than I like most people! I have watched and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, and family members for at least ten years as a side job and just a hobby. I volunteer with a local animal shelter and walk their dogs at least once a week, and it’s the best time. I love interacting with animals and getting to be a part of their day. I work remotely, so I have my days and nights to walk, visit, and sit with your pet. They are my priority when I am with them and I love giving them all of my attention. You can expect your pets to be spoiled rotten while you are away. ❤️ My own two dogs have very different schedules. My 15 year old goes out potty at least every two to three hours and enjoys his short, but refreshing strolls. My 9 year old hates mornings and won’t probably leave the bedroom until much later. Her and I will go at least a couple miles on one of our walks and even then she’s not tired out! In my clients home, I always try to leave the home the way it is found after playing with your pet. I follow instructions to the letter when it comes to pet sitting, as I have had to care for senior dogs with special dietary and medical needs. If I have questions, I will always ask.

About: Ever since I can remember, I've had a furry friend by my side. I've had dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and birds. I'll be more than happy to hang out with whatever species your babies are! I work nights, so im available pretty much every day to check in on your pets and/or take them on a walk. I work nights, so I'm available from 9-4 for walks and drop-ins. Since I am new to rover, my schedule may change as I get the hang of it, but I will keep my profile updated! At this time, I will only be servicing pets in their own homes, as I have a reactive puppy in my own home that I am working on socializing. I will follow whatever house rules and requests you give me, just please be clear and concise! :)
About: I used to work for a company that did house soft and dog training. 12 years of animal experience. I will check on animals and attend to them no matter the circumstances. I used to be a dog trainer and can help teach many cues. I work during the day but during the night and weekends I can help. I work full time at an animal shelter as a behavior Specialist. I can care for the animals overnight and before and after work. If needed I can do an afternoon check in. I work from 9am to 6pm at my other job. I treat the clients pet like my own. I feed them and care for them. I want to build a relationship with them and make them feel safe.

“When I first met with Lisa she wanted to know everything about my dogs, and they all gathered around her, becoming instantly comfortable with her. I have complete trust that she will keep them safe and happy whenever she is with them.”

My goal is that your animals will feel the least amount of stress possible by sticking to their routine. I will treat your animals with the utmost love, care and respect. As I do my own. :)

You will not have to worry.
About: Hello! I’m Miranda and I love animals, I have volunteered at my local animal shelter for almost a year! I helped with dog walking, socializing the dogs with people and with community events to help the light shine over our animals. I’m going to be a substitute teacher for this next school year! During the summer I am wanting to stay active and make new furry friends along the way. I’ll be available during the weekends when the school year is in session, but I am also committed to work a schedule after school hours as well. I have a fenced yard and some sections of my yard have a separate fence so my small dog can explore without being close to the road. She has her own car seat on my vehicle. Volunteering at the animal shelter has helped me specialize in high anxiety dogs and very active big dogs.
About: I give your pets attention and affection, keeping them comfortable while you’re away. I send pictures most days to assure you all is well. My services include house-sitting, so your pets stay home where they’re comfortable. I have decades of experience with a variety of breeds. Let’s talk about what worries you and we’ll find a solution everyone is happy with! I’d prefer to visit your pets before securing the booking, to make sure we all get along. I am self employed and pet care is one of the ways I earn my living. I also work remotely for some of my clients and use the wi-fi to get tasks done. I have been house/pet sitting for decades. I treat your home as if I was a welcome guest, but not a part of the household. I’ve had jobs where I was bonded for security, which means I have a clean record. I’ve been entrusted with confidential & proprietary information. I’ve adhered to HIPAA rules without breaking a sweat. I am trustworthy and friendly. I have a silly sense of humor. I’ve lived in the extremes of rural to urban environments. I can greet & thank people in ten languages. My idea of a party is a bowl of ice cream and a movie (sci-fi or British drama).
About: I have 24 years of experience taking care of animals. Most of it personal. I do have almost 3 years of professional pet care. I currently work at a grooming assistant/groomer. I am trained in administration of all sorts of medications including administration of insulin. Best number to reach me will be the 505 number. I no longer have the 972 area code in service and I can't remove it for some reason. I am currently a grooming assistant/groomer and currently working friday-tuesday from 9:30-5:30. Occasionally days tend to get canceled, run longer, or even shorter. Most of the times it depends on how the pet does and how many pets there are in a day. For the safety of your pets I would recommend I stay at your home as one of my dogs can be aggressive/reactive with new dogs. Should there be no other options my dog is kennel trained and can be in his kennel and alternate turns getting attention and going outside. I have a fenced backyard but will take pet on leashed walks around the neighborhood or have supervised playtime in the yard.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. I currently walk my own dog several miles a day, often totaling a couple hundred miles each month. I’m comfortable handling large breeds, high-energy dogs, and maintaining steady, structured walks. As an Army veteran, I bring reliability, discipline, and consistency to every visit. I take pride in being punctual, dependable, and respectful of your home. I understand that trust is everything when someone is caring for your dog, and I don’t take that lightly. For friendly, social dogs, I also offer the option of bringing my well-mannered Sheepadoodle, Curly, along for walks at no extra charge. He’s great with people and other dogs and can provide positive companionship and added exercise. This is always optional and only done with your approval after a proper introduction to ensure a good fit. Whether it’s an exercise-focused walk or a drop-in visit, your dog will be treated with patience, structure, and genuine care. Curly is with me almost 100% of the time — he’s truly part of my daily routine and always close by. We walk every day, and I make sure he gets consistent exercise, structure, and attention. He’s on a Hill’s Science Diet prescription food due to urinary tract issues, so I’m very strict about his diet to prevent kidney stones and keep him healthy. Managing his care has made me very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and health monitoring. Because of that, I understand how important consistency is. During walks, I keep dogs on a secure leash and harness, monitor them closely for traffic, other dogs, or hazards, and adjust pace to each dog’s comfort and energy level. At home, I supervise interactions with Curly carefully, ensure doors and gates are always closed, and separate dogs when needed to maintain a calm, safe environment. I provide daily walks, structured routine, and plenty of attention. I follow each owner’s feeding schedule carefully and stick strictly to any dietary instructions, as I understand how important that is from managing my own dog Curly’s prescription diet.
“Emalee was wonderful, Dillon loved her and looked forward to her every morning. She was prompt, always cheerful and took him on a 30 minute walk, letting him lead the way with plenty of stop and sniff breaks. At 13 years old he’s slowing down but he loves his walks. I highly recommend Emalee.”

I am home for the summer, from college, so I will have plenty of time to walk dogs and take care of them at home. I have a fenced in yard, and 3 friendly dogs that can keep your dog company. About: I’ve taken care of my senior dog for four years before she passed away. This includes feeding, bathing, brushing, meeting her potty needs and walking. I also pet sit for two dogs when their owner is out of town. I work for a restaurant during the morning or afternoon shift for roughly 6 hours. I can work in between those times and I only have one shift a day. (Some days are completely open!) I am very good about respecting spaces and following directions. I usually walk dogs twice a day around the neighborhood; however, I will follow whatever directions are given. I love giving attention to pets, especially dogs that need some extra care. Adopting my dog as a senior gave me a special love for all senior dogs!

“Savannah was amazing! Extremely communicative radically from the Dan. Super thankful she was able to take care of Joey while on vacation! Would highly recommend and would absolutely go to again!”

About: I've cared for my friends' pets for over 10 years, both in my own home and doing home visits. I currently have two dogs, one of whom is a special needs chihuahua. I'm comfortable with administering medication, various special needs, and senior dogs. I work from home and have very flexible hours. Whether you decide to board your pet or have me do home visits, I look forward to caring for your pet as you would. I have a fenced in yard that's completely secure. Because I work from home, I'm with my own dogs most of the day. If you decide to board your pet with us they will get more than plenty of social time as well as time with me.
“Rachael was very accommodating in caring for our 1.5 yr larger puppy and was great in keeping us updated and sending pictures. We felt assured leaving our furry friend with her and rebook without hesitation.”

“Leigh did a great job! My pup Rocky and I were new to Santa Fe and I needed to take a 6 day trip out of town. After reviewing several pet sitters on Rover.com I reached out to several. Leigh had great reviews and repeat customers. She was willing to have my pup in her home, along with her dog and cat. Everything went very well. She provided regular updates, photos, and even dog park video. I was pleased how well my dog did during his stay. It was obvious Leigh loves animals and makes them feel comfortable while in her care. Highly recommend Leigh as a pet sitter and will use her in the future.”
