About: I have had dogs for most of my life and have dog sat for friends and family for many years. I volunteered fostering puppies for awhile, but haven’t been able to recently. I’m excited to work with dogs again! I work part time and have a flexible schedule to be able to do walks during the day and throughout the week. Would love to take your dog for a walk! My roommate has a small dog, so I would only be able to take dogs overnight who do well socially with other dogs. I am open to house sitting/dog sitting at your home as an alternative.

About: For more than 30 years, I have cared for my own as well as my children's pets and loved every minute of it. I am retired and I try not to take dogs from more than one family at a time. In addition, I do not currently have any pets of my own. About: I wanted a dog my whole life but my parents weren't pet people. I finally got my own dog as an adult when I also had two toddlers. It was way more work than I thought it would be, but training my puppy and watching him grow and teaching my kids about caring for a dog was so incredibly fulfilling! About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, giving me firsthand experience with their unique personalities, needs, and proper care. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?
