“Amber's relaxed and gentle approach won the confidence of my elderly reclusive cat almost immediately. She left our house in great condition. She was responsive to communication. I will definitely use her again.”
“I would reuse Crystal over and over again. We have used Crystal three times now. She is professional, reliable, and overall just a great person. My cats adore her. She’s very responsible and attentive. If you are looking for someone to watch your pets, I seriously could not recommend Crystal more.”

“My dog has intense anxiety whenever we're away. Savvy was great with communication, changing our original directions about his medication when we requested it, and cleaning up messes he made in the house.”

About: I've taken care of all types of animals since I was very young. Horses, dogs, cats, cows, pigs, you name it. I love all animals and prefer their company over humans! I work full time, and leave for work at around 6:15 a.m. Monday - Friday, and return home by 5 p.m. I can check in on your pet(s) in the morning before work, after work, and in the evening. I can go for walks in the mornings or evenings. I can give some petting and play time with your dog or cat when I check in on them and feed them. I will strive to keep their routine consistent.
“Brian does a wonderful job caring for our cat. He is responsive and sends photos daily. I am so happy that we have found a person who takes such good care of our cat here in Albuquerque. I highly recommend using Brian’s services.”

“Christie was absolutely amazing with Kitty. She brushed her and gave her lots of attention. Kitty really enjoyed Christie’s company. I would definitely have her come in and watch kitty and my dogs. She gave me peace of mind leaving Kitty for 9 days. Thank you Christie.”

“Lucy was awesome with Lola. It was very comforting to me to know that she was home being taken care of while I had to be away. I’ll never use a kennel again after our experience with Lucy! She’s a wonderful young lady, and will definitely contact her again in the future.”

“Alessia was great and took fantastic care of my cat Mabel for the two weeks I was gone! She sent so many cute photos of her playing with Mabel and kept her super active and happy. Alessia is a lovely young lady and I will definitely be going to her for the next time I need cat sitting :)”

“Martina jumped in literally in the hours before I was leaving as my other sitter cancelled very last minute. Martina was attentive to all the needs of my very elderly cat, gave him his meds, cared for him as if her own. She left my house in really good condition and tidy/clean after an 11-day stay!”

About: I’ve raised puppies to adulthood and cared for elderly dogs. I have ample experience caring for leash aggressive, resource guarding dogs and high energy breeds/working dogs like collies and cattle dogs. If you need help exercising your high energy dog that never seems to get enough activity, I can help. I am an athlete. (I just ran a 50k race) I love to run and hike. I can take your dog on a variable length, leash led hike or run in a safe, beautiful, no car environment. I specialize in tuckering out wild and energetic dogs! I match your dog's energy and pace for a healthy and safe experience. A well exercised dog is a well behaved and easier to train dog! I work part time at a restaurant and bar and the slow season is upon us so my hours will be cut significantly. I will be available most mornings and especially free on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I carefully and rigorously follow your guidance and preferences when it comes to care, companionship and activity, but generally, I like to be active and engaging with your pet, match their energy and encourage them to play and expend energy in a safe, healthy and well regulated way while offering care, food, snacks and companionship as you stipulate.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and started caring for friends’ and family’s pets at 15 — walking, house sitting, and even boarding in my own home. After graduating university, I worked seasonally while keeping pet care as my favorite side gig. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets and families across the country, in every environment imaginable. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a laid-back cat, I’ll make sure your fur baby feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I’m currently in between seasonal jobs so I have plenty of time right now to walk or check in on your pet! Early mornings, evenings, or that pesky middle of the day pee that’s just out of range from your office lunch hour, you can count on me! When coming into your home I believe it is so important to act with the utmost trust and respect so that not only you feel comfortable having me there, but so your fur baby feels comfortable with me in their space! After all, I am a guest in their home so I always try to enter with care and adjust my energy to the emotions and needs of the pet I’m looking after!
“Erica is our go to pet sitter and an absolute rockstar. She goes above and beyond to make sure our animals are well taken care of and given the same love as when we are home. 10/10 as always”

About: Hello! My name is Natalie and I’ve had dogs my whole life! Growing up I preferred watching pets over baby sitting, so that’s how I made my extra cash. I currently work as an actor in film & theatre, and use Rover to make a little more cash on the side, while having a great time with some furry friends! I’ll spend lots of personal time with your pup playing, running around the house/yard, and taking plenty of pictures to send you while you’re away! I have Border Collie named Digby and a Beagle-doodle named Goose. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! As I work as an actor, I block off the days that I am on set or in rehearsal, and all other times I’m available. I am in a house with a large backyard and several nearby parks. I have my own pups to keep yours company. Dogs are supervised 100% of the time! If I visit your house, I am exceptionally clean and only enter the parts of the home you have specified. I’m happy to follow any additional instructions you may have for you house!
“We are so appreciate of Mindy’s great care while we were gone. Her experience and knowledge gave us true peace of mind and her communication about the visits was a wonderful bonus. We traveled home knowing everything was well - we found happy pets and a cleaner-than-necessary home! We will certainly use Mindy’s services again.”

“wonderful job once again. Second time I’ve used Alyssa and my cat Max has already started accepting her. He is normallyquite picky and usually afraid of everyone.”

Rio Rancho cat parents share their Rover experiences
Ceara unfortunately stepped into a lousy situation when she agreed to sit for our 3 cats. We had just had one die from illness and another was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. While the cat had antibiotics on board, she was still not urinating like a healthy cat. The cat is also afraid and anxious, so it was difficult to find her for a picture. We were worried sick, so Ceara asked if she should go back until she found the cat. It was late, so we told her to go next day. She did track down the cat who was obviously alive and scared, but we could at least relax for the duration of our stay away.

Super awesome with animals! Very professional and communicative. Best experience with having a drop in visit for our animals. They definitely enjoyed her company and we appreciated the last minute adjustments we had to make that she was more than helpful by accommodating us and our fur babies.

Cecilia does a fantastic job with our kitty while we're away! She is caring and kind, detail oriented, punctual and communicates with us throughout the trip. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is properly handled. We would highly recommend Cecilia for any pet sitting needs!
