“Cheyne, P., took care of my 2 cats after I had surgery. She showed up on time, spent time with them, and did all the tasks on the to-do list. I will definitely contact her when I start traveling to take care of the animals and the house. Thank you so much, Cheyne, for all the love and care you give to all the animals you encounter. I enjoyed the pictures you showed me of your happy furry family members. Lynn S.”

“Kerrigan was/is awesome. Great communication and updates on my cat (Koda). She delivered on love and attention for him while I was away. Looking forward to the next time that Kerrigan is available.”

About: I have 10 years of experience caring for pets of my own but have had pets my entire life. Throughout my childhood we had dogs, cats and even guinea pigs in our home. Now, my family and I have both a German Shepherd and a Long-Haired Cat that we dote on. I'm the friend in the group who everyone reaches out to when they go away on weekend trips or have crazy work days that keep them away from their pets. I'm adaptable and comfortable around all types of dogs and cats. I'm a firm believer in open communication so you can expect pictures and updates on how your pets are doing! I look forward to learning and adapting to how best to take care of your pets so that I can give you peace of mind. When I come to care for and play with your animals I will give my full focus to them, just as you would. I'm available for drop ins and for dog walks. I'm comfortable feeding and giving water to your animals and I'm well versed in administering pill medications. My schedule is flexible as I am currently home full time and I can accept last minute bookings. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns so that I can help put your mind at ease. I look forward to working with you and your pets! I'm currently at home full time so I have a flexible schedule to help care for your pets! Due to the flexibility, I can accept last minute bookings. I am available 7 days a week for drop-ins and dog walking services. I care for pets by giving them love and attention. I love to play with dogs in their yard or in a safe area in their home. If your dog loves to go on walks then I'm happy to do so with them. I'm attentive during walks to ensure that we're in a safe environment. If your dog likes mentally stimulating games, I can do that too! I enjoy playing with cats and finding out their favorite ways to burn off energy. My best resource for how best to take care of your pets is you! So if there's something specific that your pets need, don't hesitate to let me know so that I can do my best to accommodate!
“For some reason my cat didn’t want to come out for Sarah, but I believe she did everything I asked. She worked with my schedule and responded to requests. My door wasn’t fully closed when I got back, which was concerning but luckily no one got in or out, so this didn’t end up impacting the cat or security.”

“Dawn is the most compassionate, wonderful person! It felt as if she loved my Max as much as I love him. You would be lucky to have Dawn take care of your little family member members. She is a gem!”

About: I have over 16 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles and fish. (I am a fast learner and would love to care for animals outside of these as well!) I also have experience giving medication to pets. I do currently work part time (4 hour shifts) But will update my availability as often as possible! I work about 2-3 days a week. I will follow your instructions on how you care for your pet exactly. My goal is that your animals will feel the least amount of stress possible by sticking to their routine. I will treat your animals with the utmost love, care and respect. As I do my own. :)
About: I’ve grown up loving animals however I’ve had three years of hands on experience at a pet boarding hotel, where I've done everything from leading daycare to caring for shy cats and running the front desk. I'm Pet CPR and First Aid certified, I can handle medications and special meal routines, and I'm especially patient with nervous or fear aggressive pets. I also love working with every life stage from energetic babies to seniors who need a gentle touch. Both kitty friends and doggy friends receive the same extent of care from me even if the plan & routines are vastly different. No matter the species or age your furry family members will be in safe hands. I'm available all day Monday through Sunday just let me know what you need and I'll make it work! Whether it's daily drop ins or overnight stays I'm happy to fit into your schedule. I want to make things as comfortable as possible for you and your pets. Being in someone else's home means respecting their space and boundaries which I absolutely do. Before any drop ins or overnight stays, I like to do a trial day where we meet for about an hour in your home, just hanging out. That way your pets can get used to me being in their space, and you can walk me through their routine, any care questions, or concerns you have. It's all about making sure everyone feels at ease from the start.
About: Hi, I’m Mary! I’m a Registered Dental Hygienist who pet sits on the side because I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals. Providing loving, reliable care for your pets is something I truly enjoy, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to help families with their furry companions. I do have a busy schedule during the week, so if you are booking with me and need specific services, times, or hours, please be sure to communicate those details when making your booking request. My time is just as valuable as yours, and I’ve found that the app doesn’t always clearly communicate exact expectations. For example, a booking may show a broad time frame, such as 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, without specifying how long you actually need me there. To make sure we’re all on the same page and that I can provide the best care possible, please include any specific scheduling needs or expectations in your booking request. For safety and comfort, I am never alone during visits. My family members help me at all times. During a meet-and-greet, you may meet my sister, Abigail, or my partner, Coral. Depending on the situation, especially if a booking may be more challenging, my uncle may also assist. He always accompanies my sister when helping. We believe in maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for everyone involved, including your pets. Thank you so much for trusting me with your pets and for giving me the opportunity to care for them. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! We can always talk when you are wanting to book with me, and we can see if our days will be able to correlate so that it works for your needs. I always show the animals love and just give them time to warm up. Most of the times my clients leave me notes and tasks to accomplish while they are away.
“Patrick is so amazing. I am very grateful for his help with taking care of my pup. He is so flexible and accommodating with scheduling. My dog absolutely loves him.”

“Travis did a wonderful job with Mogwai, my giant rabbit child. He provided daily updates and some pictures. I felt Mogwai was in great hands and I came home to a well kept living area. I would absolutely rebook with Travis and recommend!”

About: Hello. I have raised many pets from gerbils, many birds, Shetland, dogs and cats. Happy to help care for yours close to home. What are your pet care needs? I am able to be flexible with my time and want to earn more income. I have stopped in on as big as a bloodhound and as small as elder mini dachshund. I have a pet safe yard. I would customize a pet care visit to your schedule and pet needs. I am willing to walk your dog after initial meeting and depending on size.
“Leaving our cats and dog with someone new made me nervous, but Luca completely exceeded my expectations. Luca came for a meet-and-greet beforehand and asked questions about our cats and dog's routine. Luca sent multiple photos daily, giving total peace of mind. I highly recommend and will absolutely booking again.”

“Kerianne was an amazing cat sitter. She did everything I asked perfectly with my senior cat that requires daily medicine. Her daily notes were great and thorough. I didnt have to worry at all while away for a long weekend. I would highly recommend her!”

“Lisa was awesome from the moment we met her. She came prepared to take notes on the needs of our dogs and asked great questions about our expectations of our dogs. She stayed in contact with us during our vacation which put our minds at ease that our girls were safe and being well taken care of. Our girls looked so happy in all the photos she sent us. Thank you Lisa, we so appreciate you!”
About: I've taken care of animals for forever and love them like my own. I am very good with puppy training if you are trying to train your pup and have certain commands you do let me know so I can do it as well! I am currently a college student and Substitute teach part-time. Although it seems like a lot it is not and can board on weekends and depending on the day of the week I am available anytime of the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a boy Australian shepherd named Brunson. He would be so excited to have a play date/sleepover with another dog. As for a clients home I would like to keep on the dogs schedule if they had one and would take them outside for walks and if they had backyard would love to go throw a ball.
About: My name is Yolanda Patricia. I understand that most of us pet owners love our little ones as part of our family and the importance for a reliable, loving, caring nanny who can nurse and care for pets. My big love for all kinds of house pets has brought me to the desire to be a pet caregiver while owners are away for work, vacations or owner not being able to provide care for the pet in that moment. I have a lifetime experience with pets since throughout my life I owned and cared for dogs, cats, reptiles and birds. Certified dog walker from IAP career college. Worked as a dog groomer for PetSmart from 2002 to 2006. Dog walker in the year 2002 in Dallas, Texas. I'm currently working as a care giver on Friday Saturday and Sunday. This schedule opens a 4 day window for me to take care of pets. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are available days when I can fit your pets in my schedule for potty breaks, medications, meal time and dog walking. When I come in the first thing is to make sure pets are fine by observing their behavior, guide them to their potty break or play time, check mail, lights in the house whether is day or night, check door locks, make sure pets have a clean area, food and water.

Cindy did a wonderful job taking care of my pups! I was a little concerned using Rover for the first time but picking Cindy and seeing how dedicated she was took those away, One of the pups is very anxious and nervous and she did a great job with her! She always checked in when she was with the pups which definitely gave me peace of mind. I can tell why Cindy is a star sitter. I would hire her again.

Desirea was exactly what we were looking for — someone to come check on our cat, give her some love, attention, and play time, and feed her in the morning. She even was willing to come over and meet me and my cat ahead of time to get to know us. She sent us pictures and was very easy to communicate with the whole time. We’ll definitely reach back out to her the next time we’re headed out of town!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Enchanted Hills. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
