About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. Since I was 12, it’s been my responsibility to take care of our English Setter. This began with me helping to train him. My role was to reinforce the lessons taught at the PetSmart classes. I’ve regularly walked, bathed, and taken to the vet our dog as well. I love animals of all kinds and care a lot about giving them the loving attention they deserve. I currently work part time 6 days a week, with Sundays off. I work from home, and regularly have mornings and early afternoons completely available. I have more than enough time for several appointments just about every day of the week. At the moment I do not own any pets, as my landlord does not allow it. I am unable to provide any services that would require my home. But I’ve lived with and cared for both dogs and cats my entire life, with great regularly since I was 12. I know what I’m doing when it comes to our furry companions. I have standard weekends at home. Evenings I am at home. For boarding, I have a enclosed/fenced dog area. With seasonal shade cover over a portion of the dog area. It is directly attached to my patio and both the dog area and patio are contained with tall fencing to mitigate other animals from entering the area. We do slow introductions with any guest pets and my own pups as I know it can be overwhelming at first for each party. My pups are very friendly with other pets and love to run around and play once everyone gets acclimated.

About: I used to work for a company that did house soft and dog training. 12 years of animal experience. I will check on animals and attend to them no matter the circumstances. I used to be a dog trainer and can help teach many cues. I work during the day but during the night and weekends I can help. I work full time at an animal shelter as a behavior Specialist. I can care for the animals overnight and before and after work. If needed I can do an afternoon check in. I work from 9am to 6pm at my other job. I treat the clients pet like my own. About: Hi, my name is Sam. I am in the Albuquerque area and would be happy to help you with your pets. I have tons of experience with animals including volunteering for cat adoption days with PACA, rehoming abandoned animals, petsitting special needs animals, fostering, agility and show dog training, and behavioral training with dogs. I also have a passion for my fish hobby :) due to this app being a little odd with keeping a lot of our pay lets discuss on our own time a good solid plan ahead with your furry friend that way everyone is happy :) I am available in the afternoons up to the early evenings. However, I can make an exception for some early morning check-ins or walks. Just feel free to ask first! Because I work from home, I am more flexible when it comes to extended periods of pet-sitting as long as I have a quiet place to work. Whatever instructions and guidance I am given I am happy to respect and adhere to those rules when it comes to being in someone else's space or if they are coming to my house. In my own home, it is calm, quiet, with a gated area in the back patio with a garden. The animals are free to move about in the house. I do not have a backyard per se but the back patio is a decent size and secure for dogs to do their business and relax for a bit. I do not have animals of my own at the moment.

About: Since a kid I've been surrounded by dogs. I was taught young how to care for and interact with them. Since then I've always had pets and made sure they lived the best lives they possibly could. About: I have always had a strong connection and love for animals. I have just recently rescued one of my cats, Gustavo, and saved him from an infection. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
