“Amber is very fast to respond and very professional. She even went an additional time to feed my cat when we where delayed. I felt at ease and that helped me enjoy our vacation. Thanks Amber!”

“Sara is simply amazing! This was my first time using a pet sitter and I was really impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail and the wonderful level of care she took in taking care of my fur kiddos. I will definitely be calling her again and highly recommend her services!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Crystal. Working long hours, it gives me so much peace of mind knowing Roxee is in such great hands while I’m at work. She’s reliable, caring, and always makes sure Roxee gets the attention and exercise she needs. Crystal genuinely cares about all the doggies she works with. Even my landlord speaks highly of her after chatting with her and seeing how much she does for the pups she helps care for. She always leaves such a positive impression. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and dependable to care for your fur baby, I highly recommend her!”

“Cheyne, P., took care of my 2 cats after I had surgery. She showed up on time, spent time with them, and did all the tasks on the to-do list. I will definitely contact her when I start traveling to take care of the animals and the house. Thank you so much, Cheyne, for all the love and care you give to all the animals you encounter. I enjoyed the pictures you showed me of your happy furry family members. Lynn S.”

About: I have given dogs medicine and have experience with taking extra care of old dogs and puppies whose energy is off the roof. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. Since I was 12, it’s been my responsibility to take care of our English Setter. This began with me helping to train him. My role was to reinforce the lessons taught at the PetSmart classes. I’ve regularly walked, bathed, and taken to the vet our dog as well. I love animals of all kinds and care a lot about giving them the loving attention they deserve. I currently work part time 6 days a week, with Sundays off. I work from home, and regularly have mornings and early afternoons completely available. I have more than enough time for several appointments just about every day of the week. At the moment I do not own any pets, as my landlord does not allow it. I am unable to provide any services that would require my home. But I’ve lived with and cared for both dogs and cats my entire life, with great regularly since I was 12. I know what I’m doing when it comes to our furry companions. I’d love to provide walks, visits, and any other services I can.
About: Definitely most comfortable with dogs as I’ve had them most in my life, but I also adore cats and honestly any other sweet babies you’d need me to watch. I don’t currently have any pets of my own but my sister has two dogs that I consider my foster children and see them multiple times a week as well as sit for them. I also am an amateur photographer, I Just love taking pictures, especially of animals. So you might get some pictures of your cuties as well! I do have a job from 8-4 but it hasn’t been an issue with previous bookings unless you have a pet that needs bathroom breaks every 4 hours or so I have a small one bedroom Casita, but I do have a fenced in little backyard as well. There are also many trails around me that I walk in the north valley
“Jesus was an incredible pet sitter. He took amazing care of my babies while I was across the country, and I never had to worry. I received pictures at every visit, and he even helped me with dog poo, which was a task! I will recommend him to anyone that ever needs a sitter and request him again and again. He made traveling so much easier. I couldn’t ask for better, more communicative, or more thoughtful! Thank you SO much!”

“Patrick is so amazing. I am very grateful for his help with taking care of my pup. He is so flexible and accommodating with scheduling. My dog absolutely loves him.”

About: I have had dogs for most of my life and have dog sat for friends and family for many years. I volunteered fostering puppies for awhile, but haven’t been able to recently. I’m excited to work with dogs again! I work part time and have a flexible schedule to be able to do walks during the day and throughout the week. Would love to take your dog for a walk! My roommate has a small dog, so I would only be able to take dogs overnight who do well socially with other dogs. I am open to house sitting/dog sitting at your home as an alternative.
“For some reason my cat didn’t want to come out for Sarah, but I believe she did everything I asked. She worked with my schedule and responded to requests. My door wasn’t fully closed when I got back, which was concerning but luckily no one got in or out, so this didn’t end up impacting the cat or security.”

“Leaving our cats and dog with someone new made me nervous, but Luca completely exceeded my expectations. Luca came for a meet-and-greet beforehand and asked questions about our cats and dog's routine. Luca sent multiple photos daily, giving total peace of mind. I highly recommend and will absolutely booking again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
