About: I have been caring for animals since my childhood and have several of my own. I am a veterinary assistant and am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes, as well as with responsibilities such as administering medication, walks, special diets, etc. I work full time at a veterinary clinic. My work days are Thursday-Sunday 8:30am-5:30pm, and half days on Mondays. I can always check on pets during lunch breaks, and I am available for overnights. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. Since I was 12, it’s been my responsibility to take care of our English Setter. This began with me helping to train him. My role was to reinforce the lessons taught at the PetSmart classes. I’ve regularly walked, bathed, and taken to the vet our dog as well. Cerah took excellent care of my two cats while I was out of town! Even though they only needed drop-in dinner visits, she handled the task with aplomb. She was very communicative during our visits (even when my shy cats didn't give her much to report) and I especially appreciated her making time before we left to connect and go over their routines, their layout, and where we keep our supplies. It really put my mind at ease while we were away.
Kathryn was responsive, flexible, and available on short-notice to do drop-in visits for my 2 cats. She was reliable, a great communicator, and happy to give one of my cats extra TLC once he started feeling my absence after about 5 days into a 2-week trip. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
