I have had cats and dogs around since I was a child. I have been boarding for almost 2 years, and walking/doing check-ins for nearly 8 years. I started out doing walks to help fill my want for pets. But now that I have two of my own, I realized this is something I really love doing and it is always a joy to meet other peoples' fur babies. In my home, I do have one other dog who LOVES to play and gets along with every animal and human he meets. I have a scaredy cat, and a handful of kiddos who I have taught animal etiquette to since they were all babies. All of whom are up to date on their shots ;) We have cared for the smallest dogs to the largest. We have had older dogs, puppies, dogs recovering from surgery, and females in heat. We love your babies like they are our own, and love to be able to take them with us if we ever go on any adventures while they are here (of course, with permission!)

Alexandria takes SUCH good care of my cat when I'm gone.
I was very happy knowing Alexandria was taking good care of my fur babies. I wasn't sure how they would react to someone coming into their home. Unfortunately Rose decided to observe from a distance and not engage, but Ziggy was very sociable. I will definitely use Alexandria again.
Reliable and professional. I was informed of things to look out for as far as behaviors and she also updated me throughout the day of how my pup was doing. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom, so I am home the majority of the day to care for any animals in my home. My kids are AMAZING with animals, as I have taught lots of animal etiquette over the years caring for animals -- and now that we have our own fur babies too.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I fulfill those needs. When I go to a clients home, I respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.

A typical day
There is a small park close by that we go to for walks and to play fetch. I also love taking lots of pictures of the pets I'm caring for to send along to their owners, but also because they are just SO CUTE.

- No breed preferences. I would just like to know if your pet is okay around young kids. My kids are used to different types of needs your pet may have, and are pretty well aware when pets need to be left alone or are done playing for the moment. All of them have been around animals since they were little babies as well, so my husband and I have made sure they know how to respect the animals they come to know (:
