About: I'm an avid thru-hiker who completed the 2,192-mile Appalachian Trail, and a lifelong dog lover. I'm active every day with hiking, walking, and yoga, so your dog will never be under-exercised. I currently feed and care for six semi-feral backyard cats, so I'm comfortable with animals of all temperaments. Reliable, patient, and happy to follow your pet's routine exactly. I've also hiked Spain's Camino del Norte and run a small hiking YouTube channel (Dundee Hikes). I am retired, my days are flexible and built around staying active — morning yoga, daily walks or hikes, and plenty of time at home. Pet care fits naturally into that: I'm around most of the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and company, and I can adapt to your pet's existing routine. I will take clear and concise notes and follow your pet's routine exactly. I will care for them like they are my own and be respectful of your property.

About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. Multiple walks a day during the cooler hours is my favorite way to exercise, and if your pup is social enjoy a good social outing to the local dog park. I like to fish up in the mountains so picnics and splashes in some mountain water is always a dog approved activity in my experience

About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was little and have always wanted a dog of my own. Luckily, I was able to grow up with my cousins’ dogs throughout my childhood! I have a lot of experience dog sitting for my friends and family. I enjoy taking long walks through the park by my home and will make sure your dog enjoys them as much as I do! I am an observant, attentive, and punctual person so your dog will be in very good hands! I will make sure to feed and walk your dog in a timely manner all while making sure they’re enjoying their time with me! I also live right by multiple small parks so there are many places nearby to take your dog out for walks and get all their energy out!

About: I have been consistently pet sitting for over 7 years Responsible for animal care (medical needs, walking, feeding, taking them to groomers, vets, etc.). I have Built a large list of repeat clientele over the years but am new to rover! I am currently working a 9-5 and am available for overnight pet care if they are okay being alone for the hours I am away. I love walking, petting, and overall caring for your fur babies and can’t wait to hear from you! I care for every pet as if they were my own and do my best to keep their routine consistent while you're away. About: Hello! I am very experienced in any and all dog needs. I work from home, can provide enriching walks, and also have a huge fenced in back yard. I live with one very well trained and friendly dog of my own and am passionate about giving dogs amazing experiences! I work from home, so I can spend as much time with your pup as you'd like! Typically, I leave my house for the gym once a day. I take care of every dog like they are my own. I have one well-trained and friendly pup of my own that yours can play with while they are here! There is a large and safe area for them to run around outside, as well as be cared for inside. No rooms or surfaces are off limits for pets, aside from sleeping in my bed.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, I’ve watched big dogs like pit bulls to tiny little shi tzu’s. While I don’t have professional experience, I know a lot about dogs and I’m very gentle and tending to an owners needs. I’ve been trusted by many family members to watch and walk their dogs and have received nothing but positive feedback. I truly have a heart for dogs and am motivated to make them happy. I’m working part time due to my full time college schedule, so I have a lot of time to walk dogs or pet sit them while you are away at work! I’m looking to make some extra money to afford studying dental hygiene at UNM. I get out of class at about 2:30pm every weekday, and after that I’m free. I live in an apartment with many huge grass patches for dogs to run around, along with a dog park on the property. I also have a patio for them to play, and a huge crate for my own dog which any dog could use if needed. I’m very good with instructions, because I’m picky myself when finding a dog sitter.

About: I’ve taken care of animals within my own home ever since I became a teenager- I have experience with bathing, feeding, walking, and playing. I genuinely love all kinds of animals, but especially dogs and cats. I’m a student at CNM who is currently registered for Monday and Wednesday classes. Mondays I will still be available after 2pm, but Wednesdays I can only do nights. I make sure to keep an eye out for general well-being, checking on pets regularly. I also make sure they get what they need when they need it according to any schedules.

About: I have two dogs that absolutely adores me. Have a great rapore with dogs, they search me out in public. I am patient and loving and am known as the "puperoni lady". I have a doggie door and good sized yard. Play time is essential. I have had dogs all my life. I love giving attention and don't mind if they like being on the furniture or bed. My husband is also an animal lover. We always socialize our babies with travels and they are well behaved. We bath our dogs every two weeks. I look forward to meeting with you and your fur baby and will treat them as my own fur baby. I spend lots of time playing and interacting with my babies, talking with them and they vocalize excitement. They are well socialized as we take them everywhere. Dogs are allowed on furnitue and on the bed with us. We have lots of dog beds and toys for your babies to play with. Unfortunately, during a meet and greet, my Duchess suffered a brutal unprovoked attack from a "friendly" pitbull so I choose not to accept bullie breeds. I am retired, so home most of the time. Lots of toys and things to keep them busy. Play outside with babies. Large back yard. I have a fenced back yard and one friendly pup, recently lost our Scooter to the Rainbow Bridge. Grass and trees for shade. Would prefer having dogs in my home, instead of yours.

About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible so I’d prefer to maintain the schedule and comfort they’re used to.
