About: I have taken care of pups of all ages since I was 14 for family members and friends. I’m experienced with giving pups medication and caring for puppies that are 3 weeks old and pups 14 years old. I also potty trained all my pets and taught them fun tricks like giving me their paw, sitting, and speaking. Overall I love playing with dogs and giving them the best attention/care that I can. I’m very flexible when it comes to weekends and weekdays. Although I can’t start no earlier than 9 a.m. and I can’t work not later than 9 p.m. Unless I’m required to sit for consecutive days in the clients house. Unfortunately my services do not include in bringing the pet back to my home, but I can provide the best care for pets wherever it is required.

About: I grew up in the country with many different animals, mostly rescues. I am very familiar and comfortable with caring for and training many different animals. I currently do independent work dictated by my own schedule. I am usually pretty flexible and able to take last minute requests for walks, pet care and training. I don't offer pet care in my home but I try to accommodate the unique needs of every animal with sensitivity and compassion. I'm very used to a wide range of animals, mostly rescues and some formerly abused animals.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. Being with animals is a passion of mine! Ive worked at a dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training facility for about 4 years (Currently not working there anymore). The facility I worked at had cats, but mostly dogs. Wouldn’t mind caring for other kinds of pets! I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for your pet. Im available for drop ins and dog walks most days, currently working weekends. About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I’ve had over 35 years experience caring for dogs, cats and even a couple bearded dragons. I’ve house trained 3 puppies and participated in training classes for both the dogs we currently have and a couple in the past. Over the years I’ve cared for countless pets for my friends and family and I’d love to care for yours. My husband and I own a small business so I work for myself and set my own hours which are minimal. I’m mom to two adult children so I have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I’m centrally located in Santa Cruz and I’d be happy to come to your house for dog walks or pet sitting. We have two friendly dogs and one cat at home to keep your dog company with a completely fenced in yard and plenty of time for frequent walks.

About: I grew up having a German Shepherd, but since it was a family pet I did not consider those as years in pet care. However, 2 years ago I got my own dog. I am certain I can take care of a puppy and older. Though my dog now stays with my parents since school has become difficult, I lived with her last year, so I know the amount of care an attention a dog needs on top of staying on track with my school work. I only work on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but can be free after 5pm. Weekends can be free all day days. If you’re pet can’t be left alone for multiple hours then feel free to just send a message with your booking and let me know :) I promise I will take the absolute best care of your pet. I have had 2 dogs and 1 cat. I deeply care about all of them, so I know how hard it can be to trust a stranger to take care of a pet. About: I currently watch cats for friends who travel frequently and walk a dog regularly once or twice a week. Also I will travel to watch over pets and based in Santa Cruz, California. I often watch my son's dog while he is out of town in San Diego and have another regular also in San Diego. I do not have my own pet so I rely on the love and connection I make with other cats and dogs. I love animals and like to be with them. I am retired and have a free and flexible schedule. Will travel. Sometimes I could be available on short notice, especially for walks. There are several nice walking areas within five minutes drive and a park across the street. Prefer a weeks notice on overnights. I live in a 1st floor apartment with a small outside patio in a downtown environment with a park right across the street. I care for pets as needed and per instructions your home or mine.

About: I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog, Kiwi the puggle, about 20 years ago. While I can't have a dog at my current place, I love to hang out with my friends dogs and dog walk/sit when I can. I have experience dog sitting a variety of dogs - from a senior german shepherd/mastiff mix to a bernadoodle puppy, to high energy australian shepherds and golden retrievers. I would be more than happy to take your dog for a long walk or hike (if that's what they'd like), and am fine with just hanging on the couch and giving pets. I also have experience cat sitting! I had a rambunctious tuxedo cat in college named Chia who I loved dearly. I was the regular sitter for my friends cat who required oral medication. I've cat sat for a number of other cats, from a range of playful to timid to independent. I work from home Monday and Friday, so on those days I have flexibility to provide the care your pet specifically needs. While I am caring for a pet, I want to make them as comfortable as possible and prioritize attending to their needs. I try to respect your pets needs and boundaries as well as respecting the home that I am sitting in. If a dog seems high to medium energy, I try to provide stimulation through walks and play. I also make it a priority to respect the boundaries of your pet. I will give them space and let them come to me if they are shy, will be gentle and patient if I sense anxiety, all the while trying to let them know that they are safe & that I am a friend.

About: For the past few years, I've been a reliable dog walker and pet sitter in my area. I've taken care of a wide range of dogs, from energetic pups to older ones. What makes me different is that I'm calm and patient, and I can read each dog's nature and wants. I know how to train dog in fundamental things like how to behave on a leash. I pay extra attention to older dogs that need to go slowly, require reminders to take their medicine, or need help getting around. I appreciate my clients' houses and keep them updated on a regular basis. Furthermore, I keep an eye on my pets at home, give them warm places to sleep, and only let them meet other pets if they get along.

About: I've had cats and dogs since I'm very young, and currently a bunch of cats in my backyards. Pets are good friends for your bad days. I love them as much as I love my friends and family. I'm currently a university student, I have plenty of times during days without school! Plus walking with a pet will help with my academic journey a lot! I would let the pet be if I were to be at my client's home. Some dogs can be energetic and I would ask where is allowed to fool around with the pets. It all depends on the pets.

I have plenty of space for an animal to roam around and feel comfortable, and I have a space to put a crate or a dog bed. Usually when I first meet a pet, I introduce myself and try to get a sense of what the animal is feeling. If they’re shy, I give space, if they’re friendly, I’m open to cuddling for hours. Next to my apartment there is a park that I love to take the dogs I dogsit. It’s a very nice walk. If I am watching someone’s pet, they are welcome to roam around freely in my apartment if they’d like.
