“Stephanie was amazing! Our dog was clearly very comfortable with her and cared for while we were gone. I am a nervous mom and I loved how communicative Stephanie was throughout her stay. We will definitely be asking her to come back!”

“Sejla is AMAZING!! I feel so lucky that I found her on Rover! My six year old boxer, and my two cats all loved her, she was polite, professional, responsive, and I could tell truly cared about my animals feeling loved and comfortable in my absence! I have already booked her for all my trips this year, and if I could give her more than five stars, I would!!”

“Malia is our go-to for house-sitting whenever we're away. She takes care of our 62 lb extremely energetic dog and 8 month old kitten. She goes above and beyond and takes care of everything! Love her! Thank you!”

“I have asked Michelle to cat-sit my kitty twice now and she has been great! My cat has separation anxiety and not only is Michelle great at calming her down, she plays with her a lot. She does a great job of making sure the litter is scooped, water is filled, and food bowls full. She has also been very respectful of my home; she is very clean. I will be asking her to cat-sit my Nugget in the future.”

“Kristine was amazing with our dog, she kept us updated throughout, followed all the instructions perfectly and our dog loved her. She made me feel at ease and our dog naturally trusted her. She’s very easy to talk to and responds almost immediately for any questions. We would definitely use her help again in the future.”

“Estela was very professional and friendly towards our dog. Somehow our dog instantly bonded with her and even though he has separation anxiety, with Estela he was quite comfortable and calm. I would like to request her service again.”

“Kate did amazing job with our dog! We were a little nervous about in home sitting, but it seemed like a really good option for our dog, and Kate made us feel completely at ease about it. Kate communicates very regularly and we loved getting daily updates from her. She left our home spotless so we could relax after returning home and, most importantly, our dog was very clearly well taken care of. We would highly highly recommend Kate. Thanks Kate!”

“Elizabeth did a wonderful job caring for our little dog, Coco. She connected well with Coco during our meet and greet. Coco is a bit shy and she warmed to Elizabeth immediately. While we were away, Elizabeth sent us updates of how the two of them were doing. She also took excellent care of our home — leaving things nicer than she found them! I would highly recommend her as a dog and house sitter. We are looking forward to having her back!”

“It was a great pleasure to have Danyel look after our little guy and home. As a siamese, he isn't the quietest cat to look after and has a particular set of routine he needs to follow but Danyel looked after him to the T! She was incredibly responsive, communicative, and went above and beyond the required ask to make sure our home and cat is burdened free by the time we got back from our trip. Thanks Danyel!”

“Jaime was very patient and great with both of my dogs! My male dog can be a little weird at first but she handled him well! I received the updates I wanted and she was very fast at responding! We already have her planned for another stay!”

About: I have had two dogs for 16 years. They were both lab mixes, about medium sized dogs. While they were alive, I would walk them three times a week, make sure they had food and water in their bowls, let them outside in my backyard to play and potty, and clean up after them. I have dog-sit for many of my family and family friends. During overnight stays, most times the dogs would come up to cuddle and sleep with me while I chilled on the couch or bed. I am currently a student and am looking for something to make money on the side. I love animals and especially love cats. I am currently living with two cats who are not very sociable when it comes to other animals which is why I would prefer to care your pets in their home environments without the added stress of socializing with two anti-social cats. I am free for house-sitting overnights and the weekends. I have very few classes this semester so we can work out what times and days work best when you reach out for services. I am only looking to care for your pets in their own homes. I will give your pet lots of affection however I am still able to be stern when it comes to dogs misbehaving. I can take your dog on walks and crate them if needed. I am good with a leash and am confident at handling pets on walks, big dogs too. I can clean up after them, whatever end it comes out I can manage with the right tools. If you give me proper instructions and a schedule, I can provide your pet with necessary oral medication and treatment, and if you are willing to give me the training, I can give injections as well. I can also give myself treatment when it comes to cat scratches and bites as I am well versed, as long as your cat is free of all the bad stuff.

“This is the first time we have had a pet sitter come and stay in our home. We had a wonderful experience with Gabriela and would definitely hire her again. She was easy to communicate with and sent us tons of pictures of the animals. It made our get away so much more relaxing knowing our pets were well taken care of. Would highly recommend Gabriela for all your pet sitting needs!”

“If you're looking at profiles and considering multiple sitters, I have great news- you've found the winner. It doesn't get any better than Jaynee! I have a dog with some unique special needs, and thought I'd be a wreck leaving her with a stranger, but Jaynee went above and beyond to make sure both my dog and I felt comfortable. She is super communicative, professional, and responsive- she left my hope super clean as well. I'm so relieved to have found someone through this app! 10 stars!”

“Melanie is wonderful! She is very communicative, respectful, and responsible. She was very caring to our pets and sent us lots of pictures and updates. We will definitely love to have Melanie petsit for us again in the future.”

About: I work at an animal hospital where I’ve gained hands on experience in animal care including monitoring post surgical patients and understanding pet behavior. I also have access to a group chat with licensed veterinary technicians and doctors, so I can get expert advice quickly if needed. I’m also a German Shepherd owner, so I am very familiar with the needs of a large, energetic dog. Pet care of a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. As an employee at an animal hospital, I spend my weekdays caring for animals and monitoring their health. In my home town, I’m used to managing a consistent pet care schedule and understand how important routine is for an animal’s health and happiness whether it’s potty breaks, midday medicine, or evening medicine.

About: I truly love animals and treat every dog or cat like my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, or simply keeping your pet company, I bring a warm, friendly, and attentive presence to every visit. I’ve cared for animals my entire life — I grew up with a family dog, bunnies, and even a tortoise! I raised my corgi mix, Lilo, from puppyhood and understand the consistency it takes to support pets through every stage of life. I also have experience with senior pets. I’m available throughout the day and can dedicate as much time as needed to care for your pet. Whether it’s extended stays, drop-ins, or walks, I’d love to make your pet’s care a part of my everyday routine. I’m currently searching for my next remote job opportunity, which means my schedule is quite flexible. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. When boarding, I can make arrangements for my dog to stay elsewhere for your pets' comfort. When house sitting, I follow your specific instructions, tidy up, and always treat your space with respect. I will happily send photo updates so you can stay connected while you’re away. If your pet has special needs (mobility, diet, etc.), I am even more detail-oriented with my care! I have experience with oral medication, eye drops, anxiety, reactivity, incontinence, visual/hearing limitations, and more.
