About: I have a genuine connection to animals and care deeply for them. In my own home I care for a senior dog and two bunnies. I always give my animals my first and my best. My schedule is flexible as I prepare for graduate school. My goal is to make some connections with families that need additional pet care that I can work my schedule around to accommodate theirs. In my client's home I will be sure to understand and fulfill all of the specific expectations they have for their pets. I will provide love, comfort and a safe environment for any and all pets. While you are away, at work or just need a little extra support I will make sure your sweet pet feels all the love they are missing.

“Ignacio has been my go-to sitter and walker ever since I moved downtown. He is so helpful and cares for my pups like they’re his own. “Odalys has been such a blessing to my dogs and me this week. She went above and beyond to make sure both of my dogs were comfortable before, during and after their walks. She turned on relaxing videos for my old man with anxiety, cleaned the dog mat where they eat and drink, and even picked up a mess my puppy made. As I transition back to San Antonio, I am comforted (and I know my dogs are too) that we found Odalys.”

“Ericka is absolutely amazing! She has been an incredible dog walker for my standard poodle, Gigi, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. From the start, Ericka has been so sweet, flexible with scheduling, and consistently reliable. She always communicates promptly and very quickly learned the French commands that I use with Gigi. Gigi absolutely LOVES her walks with Ericka. She gets so excited when Ericka arrives, literally jumping with joy, and it’s clear how much she adores her. Ericka does a fantastic job managing Gigi’s high energy levels and always ensures she gets the exercise and attention she needs. I trust Ericka completely with Gigi and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and caring dog walker. Thank you, Ericka!”

“Lauren is fantastic, prompt, reliable, and trustworthy! She sent us updates and photos of our dog and his behavior. Our dog got a lot of exercise and love while we were away. I would HIGHLY recommend Laure!”

About: Having recently nurtured my grandmother's cat for three months while they journeyed through Europe, I understand the profound bond between pets and their caregivers. This experience deepened my commitment to providing exceptional care, ensuring every pet entrusted to me receives the same love and attention I gave to my grandmother's cat. Furthermore, I have a proven track record of watching over my friends' dogs with the same level of dedication, ensuring their happiness and well-being while in my care. Your furry companions are in caring hands with me. Given my remote work schedule, your pet will have constant company and attention, ensuring they never feel lonely or neglected. Their well-being and happiness will be my top priority throughout the day. In my approach to pet care, safety, trust, and creating a nurturing environment are fundamental principles. I prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of each pet by ensuring they have a secure and hazard-free space to roam and play. Additionally, I establish a bond of trust through consistent care and attention, tailored to their individual needs. Whether it's regular walks, playtime, or simply cuddles on the couch, I create a comfortable and loving atmosphere where pets feel cherished and secure.

About: A new chapter has me working from home full-time — and I’m so excited to open my home again! I’d love to care for your pup while you’re away, offering cuddles, calm vibes, and a cozy space shared with my two small resident dogs. 🐾 Meet the Crew: Iggy is my 13-year-old tripod and self-appointed commander-in-chief. He mostly keeps to his cozy corner, supervising the house and making sure playtime doesn’t get out of hand. Dolly is my 4-year-old shadow. She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly. If your pup wants to play, she’s in — but she’s just as happy to nap nearby and match their energy. 💛 My Experience: I fostered dogs for over seven years — from tiny puppies to more sensitive or reactive rescues. That variety helped me get really good at reading dog dynamics, adjusting space, and creating a low-stress, respectful environment for everyone involved. 🏡 My Setup: Pups have free roam of the living room and kitchen (with lots of nap spots — doggy couch included!) I use baby gates and barriers to create calm zones or give dogs space when needed If I step out briefly, I can crate your pup if you prefer — or I can safely separate mine in the bedroom and give yours the run of the main space I rotate rest time so every pup gets solo downtime when needed — it’s always about keeping things calm and dog-centered We also have a medium-large backyard (fully fenced, about 20 yards long), no cats or kids, and lots of cozy options for sleep and chill time. Whether your pup is a cuddlebug, a watcher, or a play-in-the-yard type, I’ll follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. I currently work fully remote and am home all day — your dog will never be alone for long stretches. My own pups are a huge part of my life (they probably eat better than I do), and I deeply believe dogs rely on us for reassurance, love, and care. I do everything I can to live up to that, every single day. During my break from Rover, I continued fostering — over 100 puppies in the last few years. At the time, I was still going into the office, which wasn’t ideal, but it was still better than them staying at risk in the shelter. That chapter taught me so much about different temperaments, special needs, and how to create an environment where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — even when it’s not their usual home. Safety and trust are everything in my home. I don’t take guest pups on walks — my neighborhood occasionally has loose dogs, and I’d rather eliminate that risk altogether. Instead, all outdoor time happens in my fully fenced backyard, and I’m always outside supervising. My immediate neighbors don’t have dogs, so there’s no fence-line tension — just the occasional curious cat that might cause a short ruckus. Indoors, I keep the environment clean, calm, and free of hazards, with soft barriers and rest zones to help everyone feel safe and settled. I also regularly review the Red Cross Pet First Aid app to stay up to date on emergency protocols like choking or injury. Your pup’s comfort and safety are never left to chance — they’re at the center of everything I do.

“Mel has walked Ace for me several times now and each time he is very timely, very kind, and communicates well. He is wonderful with Ace and I never worry about my fur-baby when he’s with Mel. He is also great about responding very promptly and flexible with scheduling. Definitely give him a try, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you again, Mel!”

About: I grew up with junkyard pit bulls and special needs cats. My mother managed an aquarium and pet shop so I’ve been exposed to virtually everything from saltwater tanks to scorpions in the house. I have a cat, Floof, who is special needs. I’m particularly skilled with bigger dogs that others find intimidating, I know they’re just loving muscle heads. All pets accepted! I work part-time for a humanitarian NGO and I make my own schedule. I’m also studying for the LSAT so I have a tremendous amount of flexibility. I have a special needs cat that can’t be around other pets. I understand the caution necessary with having a stranger around with your furry family. I am ann army veteran and current military spouse with a spotless background. I know our neighborhood fairly well, I’m a cyclist and love dining out in Southtown. You might’ve seen me out in a Hawaiian shirt and with my goofy mustache.
