“Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. A dog that usually takes months to warm up to folks. If you hire Hector you will not be disappointed. You will have a reliable, skilled and trustworthy person to take care of your furbaby.”

About: I love dogs and their health and happiness are my number one priority! I have had dogs my entire life and have been dog sitting since I was thirteen. I have experience with puppies and maintaining owner's training and consistency while the animal is in my care. My dog sitting experience ranges from paralytic dogs to high energy dogs that require multiple walks per day. I have substantial experience and a passion in caring for elderly or special needs dogs, ranging from dogs needing wheelchairs, to muscle massages for older dogs with sore atrophying muscles, epileptic dogs, and lifting/carrying extra large breed dogs for restroom breaks. I enjoy dogs of all ages and breeds and I look forward to getting to know you and your pup! I work remotely as a freelancer, so my schedule is open to fit yours! Mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends are all on the table. My biggest request is to know what schedule you need as early as possible, so I can plan my tasks accordingly. Our service is house-sitting at your home, so our care will fit the needs of your pets in the environment they are already comfortable with. We ask for detailed instructions about food, water, walks, and any special needs. We can promise each and every pet will be shown the love we share with our own pets.
About: Hi, I'm Candace! I've been a dog lover and owner my entire life, growing up in a household where training and caring for dogs was second nature. My mom and I even trained a toy schnauzer to be a certified service dog for my father! At home, our three Boston Terriers rule the roost. While the two older ones prefer to lounge in the back room, our youngest is always excited to make new furry friends. I do my best to be attentive and responsive to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I never rush or pressure a dog to do anything they’re uncomfortable with. Every pup has their quirks—one of mine is scared of shiny floors, another is afraid of certain water bowls—so I make a point to be flexible and understanding. Because every dog is different, I typically keep boarded dogs separate from ours for the first half-day. This gives them time to settle in and adjust to a new environment at their own pace. Once they seem relaxed and comfortable, I slowly introduce them to our Boston Terriers, one at a time. This gradual approach has led to much smoother transitions than doing all the introductions right away. Our home is well set up for both safety and fun, with plenty of space for play, relaxation, and quiet time as needed. My boyfriend, Jimmy, and I have lived together for 14 years, and we’ve cared for hundreds of dogs over the years—proudly maintaining a 5-star rating! We're both very hands-on, making sure every pup gets regular potty breaks, walks, and plenty of affection. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pup and provide them with a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away! I stay at home when I am boarding your pets so they have my full attention almost always. If I have to run to the store or anything like that, I have a Furbo camera so I can check in and talk with your pet and even toss them a treat or two while I’m away. Fully fenced in back yard. My home is shaped like a “U” inside so it can be partitioned in a way to give dogs private access to one whole half of the house if they prefer to stay separate.
“Brandi restored my faith in individuals and Rover! Had two individuals before leave me hanging, yet took payment. Rescheduled for a different day, but the day needed was the heavy inconvenience without the help, along with the last minute notice and/or just a no show. Being 8 months pregnant I appreciate the good communication and reliability. I highly recommend, and the icing on top is Rocky loves her too!”

“Sam was very attentive and helped out greatly when we requested small details for the dogs. Definitely will be using him in the future and highly recommend him.”

My schedule is very flexible, so feel free to book a time that works best for you. I’m also more than happy to wake up early for pet care!! ☺️☀️ I provide attentive and compassionate care during each visit, whether I'm letting pets outside, taking them on walks, or simply checking in. I always ensure they have fresh water, and I prepare an extra bowl just in case. Feeding routines are followed exactly as instructed by the owner, and I take time during our initial meeting to ask thoughtful questions and address any concerns upfront. I’m mindful of each pet’s unique needs and accommodations, and I care for them with the same love and responsibility I’d give my own. 🤍
“Alison has been giving Fenris morning walks for the last couple of weeks, and we feel so lucky we found her listing! She has been communicative and reliable with great availability. It was obvious from our meet and greet that she knows how to build trust with dogs, and Fenris has a great time on his walks with her. We would highly recommend her to others!”

“My dog is a big boy and very excitable! Kate took thr time to fo a Meet and Greet. His bark sounds scary, but Kate approached him with a smile and a treat and he loved her. He practically runs out the door to her now. I’m so happy that Kate feels confortable with Flash because at 90 lbs, I need someone to handle him if he pulls. She says he does great on the walks and she always sends me the best photos of him!”

Alamo Farmsteads-Babcock Road-Westfield dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time using Rover so I was nervous but Addison put me at ease with her patience and professionalism. She communicated everything to ensure she met my babies needs and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely be booking her in the future. Daisy and Lola approved!! 🐾

Ryann was amazing!!! This was our first time choosing the Rover pet walking option and it couldn’t be more perfect. I love how she added in so much detail on the Rover card summary of how my dogs were during the walk, including how many potty breaks, the distance they walked and so many photos every single day. it was amazing and the cherry on top was when she brought my mini golden doodles these little boots to put on because she noticed that it was getting very hot outside and didn’t want to damage their paws. 5/5 would recommend she’s the best!
