About: I have experience caring for cats, dogs, a miniature horse and a pony. I understand cats on an intuitive level and enjoy walking, running, playing, and snuggling with my two large dogs. I am a full time student with a part time job. I joined Rover to fill in the awkward gaps in employment during school breaks. I have fast, reliable transportation to and from job sites. I am able to drive to any house to care for the pets, and even take the pets on trips.

“Val was very helpful for our little guy this morning. She was able to come by twice for walks with him and he couldn’t have been happier. Recommend to anyone!”

About: As a dog "Mama" I know how important it is for our "children" to be safe, loved and happy. I provide a fun, interactive, safe and relaxing environment for your Pup. Working part time from home allows me to give a lot of myself and my time. There is a big Park near my home to walk and run in (weather permitting) and I have a decent sized fenced Yard. Max is the resident 13 month old Catahoula. He has been raised with lots of other dogs and lots of visits to the dog park (he hands out kisses to everyone ). Currently he is 30 lbs. and is full grown. We have two cats who don't mind dogs too much LOL. Both were raised with dogs,

About: Just moved to the San Antonio area and looking to make new pet buddies!! Dog owner to the sweetest 7 year old mini doxie since a wee lil pup. Will give the same attentive love and care for other furbabies, so parents can breathe easy knowing they are in good hands. I understand the anxiety of trusting others with your loved adoptive fur child, and rest assured they get all the cuddles and outdoor time they need! I work remote and have all the time to care and keep an eye on all the babies! So having them would be a joy and already have a routine with my own pup at home. I have a fenced in big backyard and comfy home. Furbabies are allowed free roam and comfy couches, all babies are allowed on furniture or cuddles on the bed! I also have a 7 year old doxie that loves to play or just be a couch potato.

“Shauna was awesome. Above and beyond to take care of our babies”

“Cristina is super professional and prepared. She cares for our furry daughter like she is her own. She’s courteous and engaging. She communicates well and takes her time while on walks. I highly recommend her!”

“Dean offered to meet with my dog before the actual walk. He was quick to respond, friendly and timely. He sent pictures every time he walked my dog. I appreciate his flexibility as well.”

“Michelle was able to help me out and walk Rocky for me last minute! Very grateful for her timeliness!”

About: Hi, I'm Candace! I've been a dog lover and owner my entire life, growing up in a household where training and caring for dogs was second nature. My mom and I even trained a toy schnauzer to be a certified service dog for my father! At home, our three Boston Terriers rule the roost. While the two older ones prefer to lounge in the back room, our youngest is always excited to make new furry friends. I do my best to be attentive and responsive to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I never rush or pressure a dog to do anything they’re uncomfortable with. Every pup has their quirks—one of mine is scared of shiny floors, another is afraid of certain water bowls—so I make a point to be flexible and understanding. Because every dog is different, I typically keep boarded dogs separate from ours for the first half-day. This gives them time to settle in and adjust to a new environment at their own pace. Once they seem relaxed and comfortable, I slowly introduce them to our Boston Terriers, one at a time. This gradual approach has led to much smoother transitions than doing all the introductions right away. Our home is well set up for both safety and fun, with plenty of space for play, relaxation, and quiet time as needed. My boyfriend, Jimmy, and I have lived together for 14 years, and we’ve cared for hundreds of dogs over the years—proudly maintaining a 5-star rating! We're both very hands-on, making sure every pup gets regular potty breaks, walks, and plenty of affection. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pup and provide them with a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away! I stay at home when I am boarding your pets so they have my full attention almost always. If I have to run to the store or anything like that, I have a Furbo camera so I can check in and talk with your pet and even toss them a treat or two while I’m away. Fully fenced in back yard. My home is shaped like a “U” inside so it can be partitioned in a way to give dogs private access to one whole half of the house if they prefer to stay separate.

“Lauren did a great job keeping me posted when she came to walk my dog and even sent photos and let me know of issues such as potential allergies. She made sure he got a good walk in and was fed/watered with each visit. When I came home, my dog wanted to show me all the toys he played with while I was away. I could tell he had a good time and I would recommend Lauren.”

About: I have grown up around a large variety of animals my whole life - including horses, dogs, cats, goats and chickens - and have cared for them since I could walk. I have experience caring for newborn animals that need bottle fed, as well as senior animals who need special care and medication. I have a huge heart for animals and always do my best to keep them safe healthy and happy. I have done a lot of overnight pet sitting and house sitting as well as home visits to care for animals throughout the day. I am a good problem solver and I like to keep a clean space, so I will ensure that your home is left looking beautiful when you return. I love being outside, so while walking your dog(s), I would make sure they get adequate exercise and potty time. I would love to care for your pets and make them feel loved while you are away! :)
