“Ignacio has been my go-to sitter and walker ever since I moved downtown. He is so helpful and cares for my pups like they’re his own. I know when I book with him, my babies will be in good hands and I don’t have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend him to any pet parents, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Allison did amazing! She was so great walking Fenway and with excellent communication. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who needed some trustworthy pet care:)”

About: Hello! I live in downtown San Antonio and am currently studying online for the next 8 months, with plans to begin my counseling internship in May. Because I’m focused on school and not working outside of it right now, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I have two ferrets and plan to get a cat in the future. I’ve had cats for most of my life while living in Brazil, and I grew up surrounded by many different animals—including dogs, rabbits, chickens, and birds. Caring for animals has always been a natural and joyful part of my life. Because I’m focused on school and not working outside of it right now, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet. I am free everyday from 8 am until 8 pm. Because I live in an apartment with pet restrictions, I would be able to host only caged animals in my home, such as a guinea pig, rabbit, or a bird.
“Odalys has been such a blessing to my dogs and me this week. She went above and beyond to make sure both of my dogs were comfortable before, during and after their walks. She turned on relaxing videos for my old man with anxiety, cleaned the dog mat where they eat and drink, and even picked up a mess my puppy made. As I transition back to San Antonio, I am comforted (and I know my dogs are too) that we found Odalys.”

“It was our first time using Rover, and we were a bit nervous. Sara calmed all our nerves and did a wonderful job! She followed all our instructions about our pup, was extremely communicative, and sent cute pictures! Greatly appreciate her and we will be using her services again in the future!”

“Mel has walked Ace for me several times now and each time he is very timely, very kind, and communicates well. He is wonderful with Ace and I never worry about my fur-baby when he’s with Mel. He is also great about responding very promptly and flexible with scheduling. Definitely give him a try, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you again, Mel!”

About: I always have been around cats and dogs all of my life. I first started to volunteer at San Antonio Humane Society in 2021 and decided to change career paths to vet med. I know how to work with sick patients, surgery after care, medication administration, pet diabetes, reactive pets, and even can help with livestock cleaning and feeding ^~^ I am currently between jobs and can do multiple daily check ins / walking. Im always fostering kittens at home so I am definitely constantly moving ^~^ When I care for your fur babies in your home, I will always keep in touch with you on their condition and will let you know if anything happens ASAP. If there are medications to be administered I will keep a written log of time and date it was given. On top of that I always monitor daily water and food intake to see if there is any changes that may occur.
“Ericka is absolutely amazing! She has been an incredible dog walker for my standard poodle, Gigi, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. From the start, Ericka has been so sweet, flexible with scheduling, and consistently reliable. She always communicates promptly and very quickly learned the French commands that I use with Gigi. Gigi absolutely LOVES her walks with Ericka. She gets so excited when Ericka arrives, literally jumping with joy, and it’s clear how much she adores her. Ericka does a fantastic job managing Gigi’s high energy levels and always ensures she gets the exercise and attention she needs. I trust Ericka completely with Gigi and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and caring dog walker. Thank you, Ericka!”

About: My name is Alexis. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I have plenty of time to play with your puppy! I currently work part-time and have a lot of free time on my hands for the summer. I have a fenced yard and one older dog aged 13 years named William he’s a schnauzer a family dog and is very friendly .

About: I’ve always grown up around cats and dogs so I’m very familiar with both and all sorts of personalities. I watch my neighbors, friends, and families cats and dogs all the time when they’re out of town. I love being active and taking pups out for walks and learning about them and what makes your pets unique. I have 2 cats and a dog personally so I’m well versed in the everyday activities. I also love helping out by giving baths to pets because I know that’s not always a desirable task. I’m currently floating between jobs so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your animals and check in! I love hanging out with critters and making sure they feel loved! I love going on long walks with my pup so I’m sure your fur baby and I would get along great! I always try to mix play and cozy time so that my animals feel very comfortable and attended to. I have dealt with lots of different temperaments from pets and I have a very good relationship with everyone I’ve met!
About: I work fully remote and I am always home . With over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience, I’m dependable, attentive, and calm in all situations. I provide a daily video /time/ picture recap of your pup’s routine, including meals, potty breaks, walks, and nap time. so you can always feel connected and at ease while you’re away. I’m comfortable administering basic care, supporting shy or anxious pets, and maintaining consistent routines. I take lot of precautions to keep the pet safe when on walks. My apologies but I do not take aggressive pets / pets that have bite history
“Laurel is so good with our Charlie! He’s a little timid at first and she’s taken the extra time to help him get comfortable. He loves his walks with her and sits by the door when she leaves now. We will definitely be booking with her in the future!”

“Jennifer is an exceptional dog walker who takes wonderful care of my buddy, Rosendo. He absolutely looks forward to his daily walks, runs, and playdates with her. Jennifer is not only caring and reliable, but also an excellent communicator—she always keeps us updated and informed. We’re so grateful to have her!”

About: A new chapter has me working from home full-time — and I’m so excited to open my home again! I’d love to care for your pup while you’re away, offering cuddles, calm vibes, and a cozy space shared with my two small resident dogs. 🐾 Meet the Crew: Iggy is my 14-year-old tripod and self-appointed commander-in-chief. He mostly keeps to his cozy corner, supervising the house and making sure playtime doesn’t get out of hand. Dolly is my 4-year-old shadow. She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly. If your pup wants to play, she’s in — but she’s just as happy to nap nearby and match their energy. 💛 My Experience: I fostered dogs for over seven years — from tiny puppies to more sensitive or reactive rescues. That variety helped me get really good at reading dog dynamics, adjusting space, and creating a low-stress, respectful environment for everyone involved. 🏡 My Setup: Pups have free roam of the living room and kitchen (with lots of nap spots — doggy couch included!) I use baby gates and barriers to create calm zones or give dogs space when needed If I step out briefly, I can crate your pup if you prefer — or I can safely separate mine in the bedroom and give yours the run of the main space which I prefer. I rotate rest time so every pup gets solo downtime when needed — it’s always about keeping things calm and dog-centered We have a medium-large backyard (fully fenced, ), no cats or kids, and lots of cozy options for sleep and chill time. Whether your pup is a cuddlebug, a watcher, or a play-in-the-yard type, I’ll follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. The house is petite but between the yard and snuggle time it is perfect. It is the second floor unit of a duplex and I short term rent the bottom out so mostly have exclusive use to the yard. I am okay carrying any pups up the stairs up to 30 lbs to help their knees if they need a boast. I currently work fully remote and am home all day — your dog will never be alone for long stretches. My own pups are a huge part of my life (they probably eat better than I do), and I deeply believe dogs rely on us for reassurance, love, and care. I do everything I can to live up to that, every single day. During my break from Rover, I continued fostering — over 100 puppies in the last few years. At the time, I was still going into the office, which wasn’t ideal, but it was still better than them staying at risk in the shelter. That chapter taught me so much about different temperaments, special needs, and how to create an environment where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — even when it’s not their usual home. Safety and trust are everything in my home. I don’t take guest pups on walks — my neighborhood occasionally has loose dogs, and I’d rather eliminate that risk altogether. Instead, all outdoor time happens in my fully fenced backyard, and I’m always outside supervising. Two sides of the house are historic cemetery. The other side has three small old dogs. The one is 14 and they are cute just vocal but no threat. There is a full 6’ wooden fence between. Indoors, I keep the environment clean, calm, and free of hazards to help everyone feel safe and settled. I also regularly review the Red Cross Pet First Aid app to stay up to date on emergency protocols like choking or injury. Your pup’s comfort and safety are never left to chance — they’re at the center of everything I do.

“Lynda is a true angel! She is so diligent and conscientious about every aspect of caring for my little old man. We are repeat clients and look forward to seeing Lynda every week. I wish I could give 100 stars!!”

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was two years old, and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. As a medical student and longtime animal foster, I bring a thoughtful, attentive approach to every pet I care for. I have volunteered extensively as a foster for dogs and cats of all ages, from young puppies and kittens to adult and senior pets, including those who need extra patience and structure. I have hands-on experience with basic puppy training such as potty training, crate routines, and early behavior shaping, as well as working with mildly reactive and timid dogs who thrive with calm, consistent handling. I am also comfortable providing medical support, including post-spay and neuter care, post-amputation recovery, medication administration, and close monitoring during healing. My goal is always to create a safe, steady, and loving environment where your pet feels secure and genuinely cared for. As a medical student, I have a fairly flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to the pets I care for. I can accommodate regular walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, and I am happy to work with your specific needs and routines. Pet care fits naturally into my day, and I make sure each visit is calm, attentive, and tailored to your pet’s personality and energy level. When caring for pets, I tailor my approach to the individual animal and the environment, whether in my home or the client’s home. For visits at your home, I follow your routines for feeding, walking, play, and rest, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level. In my home, I provide a calm and safe space with plenty of enrichment, social interaction, and structured care. I have no other animals or children in my home, which allows me to give each pet my full attention. I am experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments, including shy or timid animals, and I can provide medical support such as administering medications or monitoring recovery from procedures. My goal is always to ensure your pet feels secure, happy, and cared for while you are away.
