“Hey Rover folks. I was asked by Erika, our former dog sitter, to write a review for her ans I couldn’t be happier to do so. We met while she was working at our local pet store in Wisconsin. We had just moved from Chicago with our 4 dogs (2 Shepherd, 1 Pitt and 1 Black Lab Mix) and out 8 month old daughter. We are a busy household (we had the second baby while living there). After talking to her about our situation and knowing that we would need to go back and forth to Chicago plus random vacations she mentioned that she did house sitting. I should add a side note here: I owned and operated a dog walking/boarding business in Chicago for 15 years called WhatUpDawg. We had her come over to meet the dogs and never looked back. In the 2.5 years we lived in Wisconsin whenever we would leave town, at least 4-6 times a year usually 4-9 days at a time, Erika stayed with our pups. She was just great. In my experience the thing you want, as a pet parent on vacation, is to not worry to feel certain that your pets are being well taken care of and loved, Erika provided us with this certainty without fail. We simply love her. It was one of the sadder things for us when we moved away, knowing that we would t have her to keep our other babies happy. The basic stuff, she is extremely reliable. Dependable. “Desiree is a great person to hire to watch and/or walk your pets! She is kind hearted and patient. I used to have a dog named Bella and Desiree was so good with her. Every time Bella saw her she was so happy and excited. Dogs can definitely tell you a lot about a person and by the way Bella loved her I could tell Desiree is a really good person! She is very responsible and respectful!”

About: I have taken care of animals of multiple breeds large and small my entire life. Everything from an 8wk old Frenchie puppy to our current 6-7 year old rescues. I love animals and enjoy the joy they bring to life. I am recently retired and want to fill my time doing something I love. I would honored to to spend time with your fur baby. I know how tough good, quality and reliable pet care can be to find. I have a fenced in yard, with grass for them to play. I am able to crate if you would like that as well. We can go for walks, or to the near by dog park if requested. I love to play fetch and play in our sprinkler if requested in the summer months.

About: I love all animals even exotics and would love to take them on walks and care for them! I have always been an animal lover and used to be a vet tech in an animal clinic. I have experience administering medication orally or injections to dogs and cats and know the signs if your pet is in distress. I have also had experience with birds and small animals such as hamsters and Guinea Pigs. I’d love to have the opportunity to care for them! I would own all types of animals if I could! I currently have a kitty named Sage and a bunny named Goji. Hopefully this told you a bit about me and I am looking forward to sitting your baby very soon!
