About: I've taken care of dogs and became a dog owner in 2005. I work from home and have 2 shihtzus, Curry and Pepper. They are attached to me at the hip..lol I've only trained my dogs with small commands. I enjoy taking them for a walk, play out in the park and they enjoy car rides. I'm currently working from home and have a flexible schedule. I am willing to board your fur baby at anytime as well. I am available on weekdays and weekends as well has holidays. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for them to run around, chase balls, etc. I will feed, play, make sure they potty and have plenty of water for them until my next visit or told otherwise.

About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I've owned and fostered cats and dogs at varying life stages throughout my entire life as well, so I definitely have thorough knowledge and experience with raising newborn puppies and kittens too. I am well experienced and knowledgeable in pet care and behavior, in addition to the handling of a myriad of different types of wildlife. While currently also shadowing a very experienced and accredited dog trainer, I am definitely confident in my ability to provide extra care and love for your sweet, fur-babies. I have such a deep love for animals and am fully set on providing amazing, top-tier care that's best for you and your four-legged family. As long as I have about two days heads-up, I'm normally free pretty much any day to care for you furry friend. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though mornings are never a deal-breaker. I want your pet to experience the least amount of stress possible (especially during the first couple visits), so I try to stick to their daily routine as much as I can. For walks, I am quite comfortable walking bigger dogs that may come across as a lot to handle. I have experience training physically demanding or challenging dogs to be able to walk beautifully on a leash, too. As for drop-in visits and sitting, I will always stick to the schedule you provide, if there is one. Because safety and the well-being of your pet is always my top priority, I normally always perfer to have a meet & greet beforehand so your pet(s) can become acquainted with me and I'm able to take any extra notes necessary.

We would be delighted to take care of your four legged babies while you are away or even just to walk them and check in on them. As a pet owner, I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else. I want to give you peace of mind that I treat all pets as if they were my own (and I treat mine like gold). My moto is pets are family and therefore should be treated with love and respect. We have had many pets growing up and currently are owners of a Maltese mix named Mavis. We regularly take her to dog parks, lakes, and dog friendly places. Mavis used to be underweight. After working with her food allergies we were able to find the perfect balance for her and now she is at a stable 19lbs. She has skin and digestive sensitivities so we know what it’s like to care for many conditions. She enjoys being around people and other dogs. Mavis also make friends easily and is always ready to play. Information you should know about us: We do not smoke or vape. Sarah works from home so your fur baby will always be with one of us. Also, we don’t leave Mavis alone for more than 3 hours at a time so in order to make this manageable, Selina will help take the dogs out and vice versa. Either way, your pet will have the proper attention that they need. Selina’s background: She has worked at an animal hospital caring for dogs, cats, turtles, and Guinea pigs. She has experience in performing temperament tests to make sure your dog will get along with ours. When we house sit we establish a visit to meet you and your pet. We can care for dogs, cats, and other pets you may have. We bring in the daily mail, take out trash & recycling, water plants, as well as perform special requests you may have. *If you contact us we will assume you are gay friendly 🌈 Since Sarah works from home she is available a majority of the day. We are up early so if your pet has an early morning routine, we have you covered. House sitting: We will visit your pets 2x a day or as needed based on your request. We will do our best to minimize pet destruction by moving items out of the way. From experience, some dogs tend to chew on items their owners have never seen them chew on when they are not around (e.g., DVD cases, remote controls, books, clothes, food packages, place mats, dog bed, etc.) we will take pictures and give you a full report on what they did. We will do our best to remove/cover items they like to get to. We are not able to stay over night.

If there is an extended stay and mail and/or trash cans need to be taken in and out that isn’t a problem while I’m caring for your fur baby.
