About: I've been a dog mom for as long as I can remember. I was available for friends and coworkers in Houston to check in on dogs when their families would go out of town. I've fed dogs, played with them, provided medications and taken dogs on walks (unless it’s too hot). I really enjoyed dog sitting. My house has a big backyard with plenty of shade for dogs to roam around and play chase! We have closed every crack and crevice so no small dog can escape. 😊 I've have hosted several dogs before and I know I will be a loving companion to your best friends. I have a basset hound who is very friendly. She's 2 years old and very playful. She's known to push boundaries from time to time, but quickly backs off if dogs want to be left alone. She is skittish or scared of bigger dogs at first but overall, she would love the company of your furry friend. I am a teacher so I am available most of the summer to watch dogs. I usually follow the same schedule my hound has. Dogs stay with us in our bedroom. We let them out in the morning but we always accompany them since we think supervision is best. Then we feed them based on time/schedule and for playtime, we either go outside and throw a frisbee or we play fetch in the living room/foyer. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run around and play. My basset hound is very playful and has never shown aggression. She is fixed and very well behaved. She is disciplined and will listen if she needs to back off. Her favorite is tug of war and doing zoomies! I can take dogs on morning walks if it’s not too hot. Dogs are able to chill in the living room in the evening and enjoy the occasional bone/treat when well behaved. (if allowed.)

About: I am 22 years old and have had multiple dogs and cats my entire life! This means I have been learning how to take care of animals since I was a young child. I have experience with both puppies and kittens, as my family has had pets that had their own litters, and had the opportunity to help out with taking care of them. My childhood pets that live with my parents are also seniors now as well, and I have learned along the way how to properly care for our older pups/kitties and their specific needs. Aside from my experience with my pets personally, I also often did dog walking and pet sitting on Wag between 2019-2020, caring for dogs of various breeds. I absolutely adore spending time with animals of all kinds, and especially getting to know their unique personalities! 🥰 Currently, I am self employed and do Doordash and Uber Eats as my main income. This allows me to completely work based on my own schedule, so I am able to dedicate as much time as necessary to pet care! I currently live in an apartment with no yard, however there is plenty of walking space inside the complex and also a spacious dog park! If your dog enjoys the company of another animal, I also have a dachshund of my own who is very friendly. If your pet is not very social, I can completely accommodate that as well and keep them separate, as I will be home at all times.

About: I’ve cared for and owned dogs, cats, parrots, bunnies etc. since I was a young girl. I have worked at a doggy daycare for a year, working with numerous different personalities, small and big dogs, young and old and enjoyed every minute of it. I currently have 3 dogs of my own (husky, chihuahua, and shepherd dog). I am currently a SAHM, and work the weekends til noon so I do have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. We can definitely work together to find out the best schedule for your dogs under my care. I have my own energetic dogs balancing 3 different personalities on the daily. I will Iove on your dog, match their energy, meet their needs and make sure they are well taken care of under my watch. All rules will be followed and any special requests will be met.

About: I've had my own pets and cared for them for most of my life. I love dogs, and they tend to really like me too. I've been visiting customers in their homes for more than 20 years and I always get along well with their dogs, I get comments about it often. I work for myself and I mostly work from home. I have plenty of openings in my schedule to hang out with my furry friends! I keep a neat and organized home myself, and I'll make sure that your pet and your home remain clean and tidy during my visit.

“I was a little hesitant to use Rover for pet sitting services because I did not want to leave my fur baby with just any random stranger. I needed to go out of town for a last minute family trip and my regular pet sitter (neighbor) was not available. So, I reach out to April. She responded right away and set up a meet and greet at her house for that afternoon. She was so nice and accommodating . I was so relived. She has a small dog of her own that like to play and is super friendly. My trip was scheduled for a couple of days and she sent regular updates with pictures. She even took my dog to the get a pupachino. She is so thoughtful. She even gave me a little gift to take to take home when I picked him up.”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always been a pet lover they always been a great companion to my kids and I / we just absolutely love the environment a pet can bring a family together . I’ve been called the Doggy Spoiler . Because that’s exactly how your doggy’s will be super spoiled , warm baths , cozy temperature, plenty of playtime to run that energetic one . Or maybe the relaxing type to just wanna lounge and be lazy. Either way we welcome all types of doggy’s, you can count on a great experience both you and your pet will enjoy and love . We take pride in taking care of your pets and will provide as much love and plenty of videos and pictures to share through your day. Will your doggy be the next one on our Doggy video of Hall-A-Fame?????? If your doggy gets the most likes we have a prize box where your pet can choose a squeaky toy or Treats! I hope your doggy will join the fun ! During the time of your pets overnight stay they will have there bathroom time around 8:30 am then make sure doggy bowls are full along with there bowl of water . Playtime will be around 12 this consist of walking to the park spend 1 hour . I try to get in two walks a day 30 each I understand how important safety, Trust, and the environment to a dog owner is, thats why it was my first instinct to add in door / outdoor cameras through out the home as a pet sitter there’s nothing more important to me then confirming and assuring the owners Trust. We provide a brand new fenced in back yard, tons of space for large and small pets to play and get along during playtime. I leave the temperature on 70 for normal cooling during the texas heat. I can provide little pools to give pets baths during there stay and give snacks and walks at least 25 to 30 min walks , your Dog will always feel at home and loved , Your Dogs will be spoiled ! I will share tons of videos , photos , if requested a FaceTime !
