“Katie, her wife, and their three four-legged assistants are such an amazing team! I can be a helicopter pawrent but I knew that my pup was in safe, knowledgeable, and loving hands off the bat. Katie sent photos throughout the service and my pup was having tons of fun all the way until pick-up. They have a large yard for the pups to sunbathe in and run around. We spoke at the end of the service and they gave me a run down of how everything went and I greatly appreciated that especially since it helps me get to know how my pup is while I’m away. About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I have thorough knowledge and experience with raising and fostering kittens, as well as dogs just under 1y/o. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though morning time isn't a deal-breaker. I want your pet to experience the least amount of stress possible (especially during the first couple visits), so I try to stick to their daily routine as much as I can. For walks, I am quite comfortable walking bigger dogs that may come across as a lot to handle, despite being of a smaller stature. I have experience with training arduous or physically demanding dogs to walk beautifully on the leash also. As for drop-in visits and sitting, I will always stick to the schedule you provide and the safety and well-being of your pet will always be my top priority.

In boarding situations a private space can be provided for your animal. Kennels and gates are available for separation if needed.

“Things seemed to go well when we left our two pups a few days for the first time. She had lots of things there for them to play with and do. She had a full house of dogs when we got there drop-off day so it was a bit chaotic and one of our pups was very nervous about it, but seemed happy when we came to get her. Wendy was gracious enough to stay up late on pickup day when our arrival window ended up later than expected, which we were very appreciative for. Daily photos and updates were extremely appreciated as well. She was very good with communication.”
“This is my first time using Rover. Initially, I was hesitate about leaving Duke because I wasn't sure how he would do with the other dogs but Megan scheduled a meet and greet with us, and introduced Duke individually to her fur babies. To my surprise, he did exceptionally well. Megan and her family are phenomenal! Patient, kind, and went above and beyond ensuring our boy Duke was safe, happy, and well-cared for while we were away. Megan, you are a true godsend for us. We can't thank you enough.”

“When we went to drop off Chato with Cindy for the first time, she was so nice and friendly that we felt comfortable leaving him with her. She send us some pictures of him and messages on how he was doing. Which gave peace of mind. When we picked up Chato the following day he looked happy and Cindy said that he did good with his stay there. We noticed that Cindy was happy with Chato and we feel comfortable enough that we would leave him with Cindy again for our future getaways. Cindy was great!
