“Hector treats each dog as his own while walking them. I had someone's loose dog attack my own and Hector protected my fur baby as if he were his own. He loves and protects him wholly each time Hector takes him out. Look no further - there is no better dog walker available in the city right now.”

“Brandi restored my faith in individuals and Rover! Had two individuals before leave me hanging, yet took payment. Rescheduled for a different day, but the day needed was the heavy inconvenience without the help, along with the last minute notice and/or just a no show. Being 8 months pregnant I appreciate the good communication and reliability. I highly recommend, and the icing on top is Rocky loves her too!”

About: I have experience with all sorts of dogs and animals all ages. I do pretty well with younger dogs and can keep up with them. I enjoy doing short walks with senior pets as well! I’m a college student with a passion for spending time with animals! Alongside my studies, I’m looking to earn a little extra while staying active and doing something I love. My schedule is very flexible, so feel free to book a time that works best for you. I’m also more than happy to wake up early for pet care!! ☺️☀️ I provide attentive and compassionate care during each visit, whether I'm letting pets outside, taking them on walks, or simply checking in. I always ensure they have fresh water, and I prepare an extra bowl just in case. Feeding routines are followed exactly as instructed by the owner, and I take time during our initial meeting to ask thoughtful questions and address any concerns upfront. I’m mindful of each pet’s unique needs and accommodations, and I care for them with the same love and responsibility I’d give my own. 🤍
About: I have been taking care of my family's pets for years, whenever they go on a trip I am always the first one they ask. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, and chickens! I only started cat sitting in the last 2 years (my family is mostly dog people) but I find it to be the most fun and rewarding pet sitting experience! I love all animals, but cats are by far my favorite <3 I used to work at a vet clinic where I helped with exams and administered basic animal care, so I have experience working with all kinds of cats and dogs! I am staring a new job where I will be working in the afternoons/evenings! I'm currently free in the mornings, late evenings, and weekends to take care of your pets!! !! if you are wanting drop in visits, I may need to adjust the drop-in times to accommodate my work schedule as Rover will not allow me to input the specific times I will be available !! I am very open to caring for your pets in whatever way they may need! If there is anything you don't want your pets doing (like scratching furniture) I will do my best to keep them well behaved :)
“Alison has been giving Fenris morning walks for the last couple of weeks, and we feel so lucky we found her listing! She has been communicative and reliable with great availability. It was obvious from our meet and greet that she knows how to build trust with dogs, and Fenris has a great time on his walks with her. We would highly recommend her to others!”

“Wendy was really great! Her updates were so appreciated and I loved the photos she would send of Bilbo. She really took great care of my boy on his walks. Will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: I've been around animals since I can remember and I adore them! I will play, snuggle, help train, and love your precious pooch, kitty, and even snake. I have a 8 year old Cattle dog that is very high energy so, I will be able to handle your zoomie lovin' pet or even the lazy ones. I work full time during the week but, your fur-baby will have my undivided attention after that and on weekends. I like to run, so if you’re doggo likes to run- maybe we can do that together! I will pay special attention to any and all instructions provided. I will also send you plenty of photos of your happy pet! I hope that we have a chance to meet and play! I currently work full time during the week but can accommodate any evening requests. Friday’s are a little more flexible and full availability on weekends. I do not dog sit in my home at this time. My current pup is apprehensive to some dogs. I will not risk any issues.
About: I’ve worked for a good amount of time at a dog daycare, where I learned to understand dog behavior on a deeper level. Over time, I became skilled at reading body language — even subtle cues like ear position, tail movement, or a quick glance can tell you exactly how a dog is feeling. That experience taught me how to create safe, positive interactions and build trust with every dog I meet. Use promocode MADISH71840 for $20 off I’m passionate about animals and bringing years of hands-on experience to every pet I care for. My background includes AKC dog handling and competing in Junior Showmanship, where I developed strong skills in animal training and handling. I’ve also worked with exotic animals like monkeys and raptors, broadening my knowledge beyond typical pet care. I’ve volunteered with the SPCA, helping animals in need find loving homes, and worked as a kennel technician at a busy dog daycare, gaining valuable experience in managing and caring for multiple dogs daily. Recently, I graduated from the University of Florida and currently work as a Forensic Analyst. I’ve just relocated to San Antonio and am excited to continue my pet care journey here through Rover, combining my professional skills and lifelong passion for animals. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I have plenty of time and flexibility right now. I’m currently not working full time, so I’m able to dedicate my days to giving pets the attention, love, and structure they need. I already spend lots of time caring for my own animals, so adding more furry friends to my routine feels natural and fulfilling! From my experience of pet sitting outside of this app, I am extremely responsible when dealing with animals outside of my own. For example, before I leave the house, I keep all toys out of reach and put away and potential choking hazards from the animals. It’s a form of habit from growing up with bulldogs that love to chew on everything.
About: Hi, I'm Candace! I've been a dog lover and owner my entire life, growing up in a household where training and caring for dogs was second nature. My mom and I even trained a toy schnauzer to be a certified service dog for my father! At home, our three Boston Terriers rule the roost. While the two older ones prefer to lounge in the back room, our youngest is always excited to make new furry friends. I do my best to be attentive and responsive to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I never rush or pressure a dog to do anything they’re uncomfortable with. Every pup has their quirks—one of mine is scared of shiny floors, another is afraid of certain water bowls—so I make a point to be flexible and understanding. Because every dog is different, I typically keep boarded dogs separate from ours for the first half-day. This gives them time to settle in and adjust to a new environment at their own pace. Once they seem relaxed and comfortable, I slowly introduce them to our Boston Terriers, one at a time. This gradual approach has led to much smoother transitions than doing all the introductions right away. Our home is well set up for both safety and fun, with plenty of space for play, relaxation, and quiet time as needed. My boyfriend, Jimmy, and I have lived together for 14 years, and we’ve cared for hundreds of dogs over the years—proudly maintaining a 5-star rating! We're both very hands-on, making sure every pup gets regular potty breaks, walks, and plenty of affection. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pup and provide them with a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away! I stay at home when I am boarding your pets so they have my full attention almost always. If I have to run to the store or anything like that, I have a Furbo camera so I can check in and talk with your pet and even toss them a treat or two while I’m away. Fully fenced in back yard. My home is shaped like a “U” inside so it can be partitioned in a way to give dogs private access to one whole half of the house if they prefer to stay separate.
