“I can’t recommend Keishli highly enough! She was absolutely amazing with my dog—kind, patient, and attentive. My pup came back happy, well-exercised, and clearly comfortable with her. She was punctual, communicative, and genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Hector treats each dog as his own while walking them. I had someone's loose dog attack my own and Hector protected my fur baby as if he were his own. He loves and protects him wholly each time Hector takes him out. Look no further - there is no better dog walker available in the city right now.”

“Andres was awesome and very polite! Excellent communication with both Ryan and Andres, showed up right on time and was great with my very energetic Husky and was able to tire him out enough for him to relax in his kennel for a couple of hrs until I returned home. He took the cutest pictures of him too while on their walk, which I appreciate so much. 🥹 I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with him and hoping to be able to book w him again!”

“Claudia was so great for our dog when we were out of town. Checking in on him & taking him for walks. He instantly took a liking to her and she was so communicative & very professional. We would definitely recommend her!”

“I really appreciate how communicative Jenna has been. She followed all care instructions and gave updates. Jenna did not overwhelm my inbox with every single update, which I appreciate. I can trust Jenna to look after my Moose well and I did not feel any need to “helicopter” her when she was at my house. I knew my pets were in good hands, she’d let me know if something was important, and she gave a great summary of how walking went throughout the week. I will absolutely request Jenna again in the future.”

Feeding routines are followed exactly as instructed by the owner, and I take time during our initial meeting to ask thoughtful questions and address any concerns upfront. About: Hi y’all! I’m Jackson, and I am a huge animal lover. I’ve lived with at least 2 dogs my entire life, and I now have 4 dogs waiting for me back home in Houston. My animals received many, many walks while under my care. I’ve dog sat for countless neighbors, family friends, and strangers, and I’m no stranger to scoopin’ some poop. My oldest pooch is 18 years old, and I’m more than aware of the stubbornness that age brings along. I’ve raised many puppies too, so I’m familiar with the nuance of tender yet firm care. I’d love to get to know and provide top-notch care for your animals, if you’d let me! I am a full time student at UTSA, and I live on campus. I have class on Tuesday, Wednesday, And Thursday, so Friday-Monday is more than often available. I try to visit home once a month to spend time with my family, including my dogs, so I’d love to fill this canine void I experience here in San Antonio. I have been the owner and the stranger to untrusting dogs, so I’ve gathered the best way to approach these kind of animals from both sides. I have no issue with getting on their level, exercising patience, or crating. I pick up on mannerisms and comfort levels easily, and I can adapt to the needs of each animal efficiently.
About: Important info About Scheduling: I work 5 days a week anywhere from 4-8 hours a day, please consider this before reaching out for a booking! I have extensive experience caring for multiple pets since the age of 13, including high-energy breeds. My family previously owned three Siberian Huskies, a breed known for their high energy levels (and believe me those are no just rumors) before we unfortunately lost Zuko to cancer. Before I moved out of my parents house, I cared for two energetic Huskies, Mochi and Luna, and was for their most part their primary provider. I would take them on walks when the time allowed, set up and take them to vet appointments when necessary and fed them daily. Additionally, my family has a senior dog, Pepe, who is 13 years old and requires specialized care, as well as a cat which is where I’ve gotten my love for animals. Currently as a college student who has moved on her own, I care for only one pet named butters. However rest assured I do have experience in caring for Energetic dogs as well as senior dogs and pets :) I am currently a full time student as well as a part time worker at a coffee shop! My schedule may vary depending on what my main job schedule may look like (because it changes for the most part every week) but pet care will always be my top priority ! On weekends I am usually available after 3pm. My weekday schedule is a little bit tricky because on M-W-F i for the most part am not available in the afternoon but I am in the mornings :) Tuesdays and Thursdays I am available after 5pm. Given the fact that my schedule is a bit weird (and because I get my work schedule in advance) I will Not accept requests when I know it is out of my schedule. The main priority for me will always be the pet ! I am no stranger to getting my hands dirty when it comes to animal care. I have had experience living with 3 huskies and a mixed shepherded dog as well as two cats. Although I no longer live with my parents/dogs I do remember my experience with having to care for them. Currently I have a cat named Butters who lives with me full time and I often have to deep clean her litter box and empty it out as well as clean her designated bowls for water consumption and eating. My family huskies were energetic and used to going on walks with me from time to time and being cared for by me for the most part.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments — from Golden Retrievers and Pit Bulls to Yorkies and Dachshunds. In addition to growing up with dogs, I have experience dog sitting for multiple families, including week-long stays where I was fully responsible for daily care, feeding, walking, and maintaining routines. I’m very diligent about sticking to walking and feeding schedules, and I take a dog’s health seriously. I pay close attention to diet, ingredients, and overall well-being, and I make sure each dog is cared for according to their specific needs and routines. I understand how important consistency is for dogs, especially when their owners are away. I’ve also worked on basic training with both my own dog and family dogs, teaching commands such as sit, wait, lay down, and spin, as well as leash training. I understand the importance of consistency and positive reinforcement, and I’m happy to reinforce training routines that owners already have in place. I currently have a Yorkie who I’ve had for three years and who lives with me, so I’m very familiar with the daily care, attention, and patience dogs need. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I’m currently a full-time student, but I only have classes two days out of the week, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of availability during weekdays, evenings, and weekends, allowing me to give dogs lots of attention, walks, and consistent care throughout the day. I focus on providing safe, attentive care in the pet’s familiar environment. I follow each owner’s instructions closely and make sure pets stay comfortable by maintaining their normal routines. During walks, I always use a secure leash and harness (when provided) and keep dogs under close supervision at all times. I stay aware of surroundings, avoid unsafe areas, and adjust walks based on the dog’s energy level and weather conditions. If a dog is accustomed to using a fenced area or dog park, I only allow off-leash play when it is secure and approved by the owner. For drop-in visits, I ensure pets have fresh food and water, follow feeding schedules carefully, and provide playtime, bathroom breaks, and companionship. I also double-check doors, gates, and locks before leaving to keep pets safe. I treat each client’s home with respect and always send updates and photos so owners feel confident and informed while they’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of 3 week old pup up to adult dogs, have dog-sat for friends and neighbors plenty of times! Big dog lover! I’ve trained to do tricks as got potty training out the way real quick! I am a full time University student who is looking to make money, my school schedule is very flexible! I’m available every day of the week! My dog is an inside dog, he will never come in contact with any pets I sit because I highly value the pets safety first. I am very accommodating to needs to be met by owners such as crate, walking, or even indoor playing time.
Overlook Of Carriage Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
It was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but after reading clothes reviews, I’m glad I chose her to take care of my dogs. I really liked that she had experience with rescues especially because I have one and he can be reactive to certain things. I loved that she took time out of her day to come get to meet my dogs so they can get to know her as well. My first time experiencing was amazing over all especially to my dogs.

This was our first time using Rover so I was nervous but Addison put me at ease with her patience and professionalism. She communicated everything to ensure she met my babies needs and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely be booking her in the future. Daisy and Lola approved!! 🐾
