“Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. About: I took care of my dog, Luna, since the first day she was born because her mom didn’t want her. I’d wake up every 2 hours to make sure she ate while she was little because I didn’t want anything to happen to her. Now she’s 4 years old running around with her parents and siblings. I have a cat, she recently turned one. I take her everywhere with me, she loves car rides now. At home I have dogs who I’d always look forward going to play with after work. About: I’ve taken care of 3 week old pup up to adult dogs, have dog-sat for friends and neighbors plenty of times! Big dog lover! I’ve trained to do tricks as got potty training out the way real quick! I am a full time University student who is looking to make money, my school schedule is very flexible! This man is God sent. He came to my rescue when my first walker bailed last minute. Ever since then, he’s taken such amazing care of my pup! My schedule at times can cause me to work last minute and they’re always able to jump in and help. I honestly have so much piece of mind when they watch Levi. I don’t know what I’d do without them.
It was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but after reading clothes reviews, I’m glad I chose her to take care of my dogs. I really liked that she had experience with rescues especially because I have one and he can be reactive to certain things. I loved that she took time out of her day to come get to meet my dogs so they can get to know her as well. My first time experiencing was amazing over all especially to my dogs.
Eric was quick to reply and genuinely cared about making my dog’s day. He took my Dalmatian on a nice long walk and also played with him in the backyard on both days I booked. Eric was great about keeping me in the loop and making me feel included while I was away, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. He’s an awesome person, clearly loves what he does, and I’ll absolutely be rebooking with Eric.
