About: I have owned my own dogs and potty trained, kettle trained them in the past. I've owned small to very large dogs. I believe a dog should get as much attention as possible and walking them on a daily basis decreases stress for them and is good for their health. I currently work for the City of San Antonio part time so my schedule is pretty flexible. Everyday after work I go running or walking the Riverwalk so be a dog walker will fit in my schedule very well. I will love if the client will leave me notes on their animal on their animal daily routine on feeding, walking or what toys they like to play with and what entertains them mostly.

Ailene I.

“Ailene was a Godsend since I did not want my dog confined to a cage during boarding and because my dog loves the freedom she has in her own home and yard. I loved getting all the pictures during Nova's walk to reassure me that she was happy. The notifications of start and end times of the walk and Rover Cards showing Nova's walk path and how many times she peed were above and beyond what I expected of a dog walking company. Ailene told me that, on 2 occasions, Nova came running to the door and whimpered when Ailene arrived to take her for her walk. This was my first time using a service like this and I will definitely use it again in the future, especially if Ailene is available.”

Frances C.

“Thank you for walking Tony! On time and the walk path we suggested is always appreciated.”

Desirae L.

“Desirae was awesome! We adopted a 1ish year old Great Dane last year and it's not always easy to find someone who knows how to handle him or is comfortable around him. Desirae did an amazing job with him and sent us so many pictures. We look forward to using her again!”

Ericka H.
“Hey Rover folks. I was asked by Erika, our former dog sitter, to write a review for her ans I couldn’t be happier to do so. We met while she was working at our local pet store in Wisconsin. We had just moved from Chicago with our 4 dogs (2 Shepherd, 1 Pitt and 1 Black Lab Mix) and out 8 month old daughter. We are a busy household (we had the second baby while living there). After talking to her about our situation and knowing that we would need to go back and forth to Chicago plus random vacations she mentioned that she did house sitting. I should add a side note here: I owned and operated a dog walking/boarding business in Chicago for 15 years called WhatUpDawg. We had her come over to meet the dogs and never looked back. In the 2.5 years we lived in Wisconsin whenever we would leave town, at least 4-6 times a year usually 4-9 days at a time, Erika stayed with our pups. She was just great. In my experience the thing you want, as a pet parent on vacation, is to not worry to feel certain that your pets are being well taken care of and loved, Erika provided us with this certainty without fail. We simply love her. It was one of the sadder things for us when we moved away, knowing that we would t have her to keep our other babies happy. The basic stuff, she is extremely reliable. Dependable. Honest. Loving. Caring. In our book she is great. I hope that this helps you in deciding to use her with your service. You have chosen very well. We love her. Herb and Lori Moore”

Mel G.

“Mel has walked Ace for me several times now and each time he is very timely, very kind, and communicates well. He is wonderful with Ace and I never worry about my fur-baby when he’s with Mel. He is also great about responding very promptly and flexible with scheduling. Definitely give him a try, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you again, Mel!”

About: I grew up with small dogs, Bob the Pom-Yorkie is 16 and going strong! My sweet girl Indi is three and has taught me so much about how regular walks, watching body language, and building trust improve a dogs life. I’ve done 9 months of personnel dog training so I’m happy to keep up your dogs training or work on new tricks (not a professional trainer). I’ve watched dogs of all sizes and love learning about each dogs unique personality. I am currently a full time student so I have tons of availability for daily walks, house sitting, or just checking in on your furry friend. I am very alert when walking dogs and will never put your dog in a situation they or I am uncomfortable with. If they have a regular route they love to take, let me know! I will respect your home like my own and make sure any house rules for your pets are kept while I am there.

Taryn M.
“Taryn was an exceptional pet sitter for us from 2012-2016. She started with us (4 dogs, a cat, and four horses) in Corrales, New Mexico in middle school and continued on through her sophomore year of college. While working with us, she went above and beyond to administer several rounds of Chewy multivitamins and pre-packaged food to our canines, set out fresh, wet cat food, and tended to several horses, feeding bales of hay, oil supplementation, and pellets a couple hours before heading out for school, around approximately 6 AM. She would also ensure that the cat’s litter box and horses stalls were scooped and dusted our home prior to our arrival back home. She regularly stayed a whole week while my daughter and I traveled to several annual dressage competitions. Towards the end of our work together, she stayed from April-June to assist with our cross-country move to San Diego. I cannot recommend Taryn enough for taking care of your fur babies! She is excellent with time management and communication. She goes above and beyond to care for your pets.”

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was around 8 years old. I was in charge of bathing, cleaning, training, and veterinary visits all the way through high school too. I have a deep love for all pets and genuinely miss taking care of those sweet babies! I currently am a full time college student, meaning I have a full schedule on Monday and Wednesday from afternoon to about 6 pm. Every day throughout the week other than those two days, is completely free and available for fun and care of pets! I have a bunch of beautiful parks right outside of my apartment that would be perfect for walks and potty breaks and meeting friendly neighborhood dogs and cats!

Kyra K.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kid, growing up with three large dogs — a Black Lab, a Red Bone Coonhound and a Black Lab, Blue Tick Coonhound and Black and Tan Coonhound mix — and two cats in my family home. I’ve also raised a puppy of my own and she is now a happy, healthy seven-year-old Boxer, American Bulldog and American Staffordshire Terrier mix that lives back home where I relocated from. I’ve cared for many dogs over weekends and weeklong stays in my home, ranging from Beagles, Yorkies and Boxers to Labs, Doodles and Pit bulls. I’d love to have your dogs visit overnight, and I’m also happy to just pop in for a day, a walk or to play. I love dogs, I’m new to Texas and I would be be so happy to care for your babies. I currently work in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. — 5 p.m. On those days, I am available for evening care or mid-afternoon check-ins/walks. I work from home Monday, Thursday and Friday. On those days, I am available to care for your dogs overnight, mid-afternoon check-ins/walks, and evening care. My Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays all day are typically open and I am open to all care. I live in a large, 2-bedroom apartment. My apartment complex also has a fenced-in dog park for your dogs to play in, and plenty of areas nearby to safely walk. However you’d like your dog cared for, I will follow. I am an animal lover and promise to give your pets the attention and care I would give my own.
