“Amy is truly a dog whisperer! My very barky and unsure husky mix warmed up to her within a few minutes and has been great for all the visits. Our other dog, a little beagle, has been a cuddle machine with her. I would recommend Amy with 10 stars if I could. We are definitely having her back!”

“Michelle was so great! She was easy to communicate with, and was very contentious. She checked in when she had a few potential health concerns about my cat and I could tell that my sweet kitty was very well taken care of while I was gone. Would definitely rebook and recommend to others!”

“April is my go-to cat sitter! She is attentive and reliable and I always know my cat is in the best hands while I’m away. I’m a repeat customer with April & highly highly recommend her!”

About: I have a senior small dog and have had cats & dogs my whole life! As a senior dog mama, I understand the patience and extra care needed by these and all pets and will take extra care to give your animals love and attention. I am also experienced at getting my dog to take his pills two times a day. I work from home so I am pretty flexible when it comes to times I can drop in or take your dog for a walk. I am patient and loving when it comes to animals and am especially understanding about the needs of older pets. I would welcome detailed instructions and follow client’s lead when it comes to care for their pets.

“Annalise was absolutely fantastic! My dog can be quite challenging but she was able to work with him to build trust quickly and took great care of him. She also provided very thorough and timely communication. Would highly recommend Annalise for your dog watching needs.”

“Had such a great time with Emily and her family! :) He was definitely tuckered out by the time that I had gotten him to bring him home! He can’t wait to go back next time! :)”

“Anaiah saved the day. Literally. I was experiencing some issues after a major surgery and the Rover person I had scheduled didn't show up so I was desperate. Anaiah was here in twenty minutes to take them out and then came back a little later to take them for a walk. I'm sooooo impressed!”

About: Until recently, I had a 55lb Beagle-Bully mix of my own and used Rover for her when needed (grateful for some wonderful sitters who were very accommodating to her idiosyncrasies). I grew up with dogs, horses and cats. My mother is a bit of a "whisperer" and taught me how to "understand what's in their head", anticipate reactions, understand context of behavior and gain trust (comes in handy for both people and pets!). I have experience with separation anxiety, dominant behaviors and with administering medication. I love the words, "I aspire to be the person my dog thinks I am." We should all be so lucky as to have the love of a dog. I am also very cognizant that "we are their whole world" when a dog lives in the city (I grew up in a rural area where dogs spend more time outside roaming). Let me know if there are any behaviors I should be watching for and mitigating, as well as any commands, etc that your pooch is used to. I work a "typical" 8-5 work week with flexibility to be home for part of the week or part of the day, especially with a little notice to adjust meetings/schedules. I would also love to check in, brush, snuggle, play with and/or walk your fur baby evenings and weekends. Always a delight to meet a new personality! I work a full time weekday job with flexibility to be home part of the week or part of the day. I can adapt quite a bit to accommodate a stay when I have a little notice. If I go into work, it's usually late morning or midday (aka half day). If boarding, pets are welcome on furniture and in the bed at my home. I have a couple squeaker toys, a little sleeping pad on the floor if needed, doggie bags, and some water/food dishes. I don't have a yard but live near the lake with lots of great walking /running for dogs that desire the activity (I walk several miles/week). If needed, I have personal experience with the patience and empathy needed with a reactive/anxious dog so just let me know what you know and I can carry on while you away, adapting as needed.

“Kate was amazing! She did everything I asked her to do with the cats, left great notes, and kept me up to date with any issues. I felt very safe leaving my two kitties with her!”

“Everett is great. He developed an instant rapport with my dog, Vito, and it was obvious to me that Vito was comfortable with him and his calm energy immediately. In the meet and greet, he asked all the right questions. He really knows dogs and anticipated all of my concerns. He's a great communicator too. I recommend him highly!”

“Olivia was a great cat sitter. She was punctual and sent pictures of our babies daily. She did a wonderful job. of keeping soiled litter from the boxes, and there was no smell when arrived home. Thumbs up!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently care for a 14 year old chow mix. I love dogs of all kinds and understand the importance of having trusted people caring for your pets. I work from home M-F and have flexibility for house visits before work, during my lunch break, and after work in the evenings. I also have availability for walks/house visits most weekends. I am very respectful of your home and will ensure that all home visits are secure, safe, and trustworthy. I am not currently able to care for other pets in my own home.

“This was my first experience with River. Jj did an amazing job and from our first meeting, I knew my babies would be in good hands. Great communication, really enjoyed the rover updates. Jj genuinely enjoyed watching the cats and I think the cats started to like her more than me, lol. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you for your services, we will see you again soon!”

About: I am very attentive to detail, so if your pet needs special care like medications to take, I’m your girl! And if I’m house sitting, I always like to leave a place cleaner than when I arrived. I work a full time 7:30-4:30 job. So evenings and weekends are my primary availability. But I get to work remote two days a week which are fairly flexible and happy to house sit those days. I like to have a clean apartment and will treat your home like my own while I’m there caring for your pets. If you have any concerns about having someone in your place, I’m an open book. Please ask!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, both cats and dogs. Being around them has made me learn and adapt to their different cues and actions. Understanding your pet is my top priority. I am currently in between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is flexible until I fulfill that time. Week days work best for me. I always try to make sure that all the surroundings in the area are safe. Whether that being out for a walk, being in the kitchen. It is important that the animals safety comes first.

“Haidyn helped us out at the last minute! We were staying at a pet-friendly hotel and planned to be away 4-5 hours for a concert in the evening. Our older chill dog probably would have been fine, but with an occasional loud bark at noises I started to worry. We enjoyed our evening SO much more not worrying about him! Haidyn sent a few pics and short updates that reassured us even more.”

About: Hi there! I would love the opportunity to take care of your pup. I started taking care of dogs 6 years ago and joined Rover a little over two years ago. In that time, I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and breeds. My partner and I both work from home, making our house a great environment for dogs that need some company during the day. We have a two year old pup named Louie who would also love to have a canine friend around! We have fenced in backyard that is very dog-friendly. If you book with me, I will make sure to follow all instructions given and pay special attention to your pup’s needs. My priority is giving them lots of love and plenty of exercise! My partner and I both work from home and take regular breaks to get our dog outside and on walks. Your pup will fit right into our daily schedule! I am committed to making sure your dog has a great stay with us! I am able to accommodate whatever schedule the dog is used to and will willingly provide updates and puppy pics over the course of the visit. Your dog and your trust are my priority!

Tracey B.
“Tracey was raised in a family of animal lovers and she goes to great lengths to accommodate the needs of her own rescued dog, Pucca. Tracey learned the responsibility of caring for a variety of animals as a young child and she will forever be a kind and caring advocate for animals. Tracey is from a family that could not function without the love of animals in our lives. Tracey's first rescued dog was when Tracey was about 8. There was a stray dog that needed help but would not approach when I tried to help. Tracey later asked if she could bring the dog home and I advised her, "I don't think we can get him to come in the pickup". Tracey informed me, "I already have him in the pickup". Needles to say "Bud" became Tracey's dog and he grew into a beautiful white German Shepard with a little love and care. So yes, I think your dogs will be in good hands with Tracey looking after them. Caitlin's love and care for her own pup, Chewie, and all Chewie's friends, shows how well she knows that pups are not just pets - they are family! Caitlin has taken care of our dogs on multiple occasions, including overnight for several days. We have full confidence in her care and communication. Kelsey K.
“Kelsey is very capable and good with our two big dogs. Ginger had on the cone due to a due claw injury that happen before Kelsey arrived. So she had to navigate that which is tricky. She bonded with our dogs quickly and gave them lots of love. She sent us plenty of pics on their walks. As well as crazy sleeping positions! The house was so clean it was like she was never there. I would recommend her for a pet sit and would have her back again! Kathi”

Chloe T.
“I’ve been lucky to have Chloe care for my dog, Benny. She has done regular drop-ins and walks. From the start her energy and love for animals was obvious. Benny absolutely adores her! She’s incredibly patient and gentle with him, which we appreciate so much. Especially since Benny can be shy at first. She’s also consistently prompt and reliable. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and she brings such positive energy every time. We completely trust her with Benny and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic pet sitter!”
