A couple of things went wrong in the house while we were away (nothing to do with Michael) and he handled them with complete grace. From puppyhood to his senior years, our daily walks, playtime, and belly rubs were some of my favorite ways to connect and spend quality time together. Over the years, friends, family members and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. I work full time during the week, so I’m available for walks after 5pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I am also available for house visits and stays from Wednesday evenings after I get out of work through Sunday evenings. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine in a familiar environment, and I always aim to create a calm, comfortable, and safe experience. During visits, I follow your instructions closely, ensure your pet is fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention, and keep you updated with regular check-ins. Daily walks were one of my favorite bonding activities with my dog, Sparky, so I truly understand how important they are for both physical health and mental stimulation. Whether your pup loves a leisurely stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor each outing to their pace and personality. Safety is my top priority. I make sure the leash is secure, stay alert to surroundings making sure it is a safe area to walk in, and follow your dog’s routine and preferences. I make sure walks are not only safe but also enjoyable, giving your dog a chance to explore, exercise and return home happy and relaxed.

About: I've owned dogs since I was 10 years old and had three (2 pitbull mixes and 1 doberman) while being teenager. I assisted with feeding, toileting, walking, and bathing them. I am now 33 years old and I own two cats who I care for (feeding, entertaining, cleaning up after, etc.). Cats arguably have different needs :P One of my hobbies is to watch dog training videos and I don't know if I can put that to good use on your pets, but maybe you'll come back and find your pooch knows some new tricks (or manners)! At the moment, I am not working at a job, so my availability is quite open to the needs of my clients and their pets. I will not be able to bring your furbabies to my home, but given the tools at your home, I will be able to care for them to the best of my ability there! I will ensure your pets have the food and water they need, have a clean litterbox (or take them out), and ensure that the home is safe for the pet in question. I would do a sweep of the house and ensure nothing is out of place or has been messed with (by your pet) before continuing with the duties you've requested me for!

About: I've loved animals my whole life and have been around cats in one way or another for most of my life. I grew up with multiple cats and I've been taking care of my cat Cole since adopting her in 2018 as a kitten. I've been volunteering at a cat shelter for several years as a socializer and love visiting as many cats as I can when I'm there (I always stay longer than my shift). I love them dearly, always want what's best for them, and would treat your cat with the same care concern I'd treat for my own. I'd be happy to provide drop-in visits for feedings/etc or to provide your cat with some play/social time! I love meeting new cats and taking in their unique quirks! While I've had a lot more exposure to felines, I'd also happily walk/spend time with your dog. I've had a lot of good experiences with them as well - me and my landlady's dog are good pals! I'm between jobs at the moment, so I am fairly flexible in terms of availability with some notice. Sunday is my day for volunteering, though I can potentially swap my shift in an urgent situation.
