About: I started my experience dog walking 2 years ago for a professor’s friend in Winchester, Virginia. Twice a week, I would walk her hyper pups. She then recommended me to her father, whose dog I began walking twice a week as well. From there, my mini business boomed through word of mouth. I began dog sitting in people’s homes as well for multiple individuals for varying time spans. Most of the dogs I interacted with were seniors and required extensive care. However, all dogs owners loved and recommended me to others! I still walk the original dogs and add in others as my schedule allows with two other jobs. I am sad to leave my extensive clientele in Winchester, but I am moving back to New Jersey for graduate school and excited to meet new puppy friends!! For the summertime, I am incredibly flexible with nothing planned. I prefer weekly walks / drop ins, but also like sitting as well. In August, I start physical therapy school at Columbia University so my availability will decrease but I’d be willing to provide services on nights / weekends. During breaks, my availability will open up again! Whenever walking / sitting, I respect the owner’s rules, no matter what. I long to maintain utmost cleanliness and adherence to routine as physically possible. I am also very communicative and honest, building trust with my clients.

Luli can be a little reserved around new people, but she warmed up to Amelia almost right away. Amelia sent thoughtful updates, photos, and videos. About: For a little over four years I've been the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers when they go on vacation. I've researched all things related to dogs pretty much from the moment I learned to use a computer because I've spent almost all my life trying to convince my parents to get a dog. Spoiler alert, I was unsuccessful ): but not for lack of trying ("dogs are too big of a financial commitment" according to them... but four kids isn't??? but I digress lol)! Training has always been fascinating to me, it never fails to amaze me how smart dogs are! Overall I just love their energy and how loving they can be, being around dogs is truly therapeutic and does wonders for your mental health! You're so blessed to have one in your life and I would be honored to care for them (: <3 Sunday-Wednesday and Friday I work 7-3 and I’m off all day on Thursday and Saturday! Currently taking a break from school, so as soon as I get out of work I'll be free to devote my time to your doggies (: I live in a big apartment with a home office that I turn into the doggy room essentially although they are welcome to roam throughout the apartment of course! My neighborhood is very walkable (one of my favorite things about where I live) and I’m about a mile and a half away from like 3 parks!
