About: For a little over four years I've been the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers when they go on vacation. I've researched all things related to dogs pretty much from the moment I learned to use a computer because I've spent almost all my life trying to convince my parents to get a dog. About: I started my experience dog walking 2 years ago for a professor’s friend in Winchester, Virginia. Twice a week, I would walk her hyper pups. She then recommended me to her father, whose dog I began walking twice a week as well. From there, my mini business boomed through word of mouth. I began dog sitting in people’s homes as well for multiple individuals for varying time spans. Most of the dogs I interacted with were seniors and required extensive care. However, all dogs owners loved and recommended me to others! I still walk the original dogs and add in others as my schedule allows with two other jobs. I am sad to leave my extensive clientele in Winchester, but I am moving back to New Jersey for graduate school and excited to meet new puppy friends!! For the summertime, I am incredibly flexible with nothing planned. I prefer weekly walks / drop ins, but also like sitting as well. In August, I start physical therapy school at Columbia University so my availability will decrease but I’d be willing to provide services on nights / weekends. During breaks, my availability will open up again! Whenever walking / sitting, I respect the owner’s rules, no matter what. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have rescued my dogs while traveling through South America since 2022 and have been taking care of them. The old one is 5 yrs old and the second one is 2yrs old. I work remotely so I spend all day with my dogs except for when I have to run errands. This is why I can fit drop visits and walks throughout the day since I work from home. Cannot recommend Izabella more highly! She stayed in our home with our 5 year old Cavachon and within a couple of days they became besties. Izabella took great care of him, and she sent pics a couple times a day and was very responsive via text as well. Julia may have been better with my animals than I am. She stayed with them for a week and didn’t have any problems. My 18 year old dog has senior issues and Julia was able to make him comfortable enough to eat while we were away. He also had no accidents in the house while in her care. Julia kept in contact with us the entire week. I have the utmost confidence that she would care for your animals in the same Loving way she did for ours.
Taina watched our dog for 10 days while we were on vacation and she was great! Our dog generally doesn’t open up to anyone quickly and always barks at strangers, but she let Taina pet her belly the very first time they met which was such a pleasant suprise lol. She was great with our dog and kept updating us on the latest with her. We’d hire Taina for our dog again!
