About: For a little over four years I've been the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers when they go on vacation. I've researched all things related to dogs pretty much from the moment I learned to use a computer because I've spent almost all my life trying to convince my parents to get a dog. Spoiler alert, I was unsuccessful ): but not for lack of trying ("dogs are too big of a financial commitment" according to them... but four kids isn't??? but I digress lol)! Training has always been fascinating to me, it never fails to amaze me how smart dogs are! Overall I just love their energy and how loving they can be, being around dogs is truly therapeutic and does wonders for your mental health! You're so blessed to have one in your life and I would be honored to care for them (: <3 Sunday-Wednesday and Friday I work 7-3 and I’m off all day on Thursday and Saturday! Currently taking a break from school, so as soon as I get out of work I'll be free to devote my time to your doggies (: I live in a big apartment with a home office that I turn into the doggy room essentially although they are welcome to roam throughout the apartment of course! My neighborhood is very walkable (one of my favorite things about where I live) and I’m about a mile and a half away from like 3 parks!

About: I love dogs! I have my own Samoyed and know all the ins and outs of dog behavior, training and dog care! My dog and I are an active agility and therapy dog team, and by trade I am a behavior analyst. I'm always giving advice to friends and family on dog behavior, how to improve their relationship with their pup, and what to keep an eye out for! I tend to be the first person they call when they feel confused about a situation with their pup, or how to navigate it best. I've cared for many dogs throughout my life, and have experience with small dogs, herding breeds, and working dogs. I love being active with dogs and making sure they are having FUN! I try to do things with them that they personally enjoy, and tailor it to each dog I meet. I have treats and toys to play with, as well as experience with dogs that pull on the leash- no worries! Whatever your needs are, they can be met FOR HOUSE SITTING: I offer house sitting services for stays of 3 days max as I have my own dog to take care of! I was recently laid-off from my company, so I am completely free from 8am-3pm everyday! With this time off, I'm looking to lean into my passion for dog and animal welfare and behavior training. Before accepting a drop-in service, I will ask to do a meet-and-greet with your dog so they become familiar with me and are not alarmed when I appear at their doorstep. It's also a great time for us to chat to see if we'd be a good fit! For all services, I do request a quick questionnaire or conversation to discuss briefly who your dog is, their personality, likes and dislikes, and anything I need to be aware of to ensure they are happy and safe in my care. It is important to set our animals up for success and positive experiences and I believe communication is the first step. I will also be available on the Rover app or my personal cell for any questions or concerns you may have. As an anxious pet parent myself, I'll be sure to ask how often you'd like to receive updates, and update you accordingly.
