We have two large dogs, one German Shepard, one Rhodesian Ridgeback / Belgian mix - both high energy and one is a bit reactive / nervous around new people. Matthew knew exactly how to handle them. You can tell he’s truly a dog person. He took them on daily walks, gave them love, played with them, kept us up to speed with updates and lots of photos. Thank you Matthew for allowing us to enjoy our family vacation while resting assured our dogs had the best care we could ask for. We appreciate you immensely.”

About: I'm an assistant librarian who absolutely loves dogs, cats, and all other pets. I had two small dogs, Bella (a Chihuahua) and Scotty (a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix), who were my fur-babies for over 15 years. I also loved taking care of our family's Dalmatian, Spankie, and my desert tortoise, Cookie, when I was younger. I've dog-sat and dog-walked for friends and family for years, and I would be extremely happy to apply the same love I had for my own pets to yours, even if it's just for a moment during a walk. I currently work full time, Monday through Friday from 9 am - 5 pm. I am more than happy to fit pet care in the mornings or evenings on weekdays. I am available for weekends as well. I care for pets in the clients home based on their desired needs/requirements. I am happy to oblige to the client’s preference of where their pet may be in the home.

About: I’ve owned a dog training business for 25 years! looking to provide care and boarding to your canine and Feline family members. Experienced with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I'm active and athletic so walking/running with your dog is no problem. I am reliable, on time and will care for your pets like my own. I love all animals- we have 12 of our own, 1 horse, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 4 chickens. I have enough knowledge to take care of your pets safely and with love! Due to our heat in AZ dog walking has specific time and duration restrictions. I’m home most of the day and rarely am away from your pet for more than 3 hours if they are staying in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and always make your animals a priority! I request that your dog be crate trained and non destructive in the crate. For the safety of your dog they will utilize a crate indoors while I am away from home. I live on a small farm that revolves around our animals. They are inside most of the day with many outdoor exercise opportunities- dogs are only outside under supervision and care is taken during hot weather. My Life revolves around the dogs in my care. I’m an active dog trainer and competitor in dog sports. Numerous daily opportunities for potty, rest or play. Dogs kept primarily indoors during our Summer heat. This is not an outdoor facility and your best friend won’t be in a crate all day either. Our beautiful property is fenced with grass and loads of shade. Our home is set up for dog comfort with opportunity to play, or just lounge based in your dogs preference.

About: I have pet sat for several families with a mixture of animals, including large, extremely energetic dogs. I've had my fair share of different breeds and behaviors and it's always been a completely manageable situation. I LOVE giant dogs (and pitbulls) so I can definitely handle anything. I have tons of availability this summer as I am not working another job and I go to community college during the fall/spring/winter so I am always in town! Since I am only offering petsitting in the client's home, safety will depend on your setup and preferences. I will absolutely go outside with the dog(s) during potty breaks and monitor them when they play outside. Whatever would give you peace of mind while you're away, I am happy to oblige!

About: I'd call myself an amateur trainer. I'll help develop social skills with leash training ,potty training or just give him a scratch or a belly rub. I am self employed so my availability is open to watch your fur baby on a weekly basis or even weekends. And to give them all my attention to your fur babies needs. I have a fenced in backyard to run free and play and exercise plus a beautiful neighborhood to go for long walks or runs on leashes.
