“Mindy was great with my cats. She did drop in visits in my home. My cats who can sometimes be shy and sometimes be complete divas came out to say hi to her and seemed to really like her. I felt very comfortable with her coming into my home.”

“Cris is a pet sitter sent from up above!! She has cared for both my doggo and my kitty now and she has gone above and beyond in her care with both of them! Having Cris caring for my fur babies brings me such great peace of mind, as I know she will care for them as if they were her own :)”

About: My names Chris. I’m 33 years old. I’m a caring person as I work at an elementary school k-5. Needless to say, I have patients. I decided to put my love for pets to the test with your help. I’ve lived with three dogs for about 10 years of my life till I l moved out of my parents house. When two passed I couldn’t get another, so here I am Giraffes are my favorite animals. Always free because it’s summer and I don’t work. I have free time. It’s summer and teachers don’t work haha. So as a side gig hopefully turned full time I’d like to watch your pets and show them the love they deserve while you’re away. I’m a huge animal lover. I’ve taken care of dogs for many years and love a big one as I’m tall. Small dogs are cute too! Don’t have a dog well I’ve lived with snakes and tortoises. What ever animal you have I’m sure I’ll be a good fit to learn and understand how to care for them as you would
“We booked last minute, Amanda said yes without hesitation, and went back out for an extra trip in the snow—all while dealing with Hudson, who is basically an ornery toddler in a fur suit. You never know what one of his many moods you’ll encounter! Somehow she handled the weather, the schedule, and the attitude with patience, humor, and total professionalism. We’re incredibly grateful and would have her again in a heartbeat(if she will come back 🤣)”

“Shanna was a great sitter! Reliable, understanding, and very helpful. It was the first time we had ever left our cat and he was not on his best behavior. That being said, he was in great hands with Shanna due to her experience and patience. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a high-quality sitter”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience with our Rover sitter! Jadyn checked in on our cats while we were away camping and gave us complete peace of mind. She was reliable, always on time, and went above and beyond by watering our plants as well. One of the sweetest things was that our boy cat, Ginger, took a special liking to her and followed her around during visits. Anyone with cats knows that their approval isn’t given lightly, so that spoke volumes to us! It’s clear she genuinely cares about animals and treated our home with respect. We came home to happy cats, healthy plants, and everything exactly as it should be. We are incredibly grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our furry family while we were away! 🐾💕”

“Bridget was fantastic! She went above and beyond in caring for my dogs, treating them like her own. Not only did she make sure they were well-fed and comfortable, but she also took them on walks, played with them, and gave them plenty of love and attention. The best part? She kept me updated every day with photos, videos, and texts, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pups, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for a kind, reliable, and dedicated sitter, look no further—Bridget is the best! I will definitely be booking her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I thought that joining Rover.com would be a good idea now that it is summer and I have plenty of time. I have been dog and house sitting for some friends a few times throughout the past year and it went well. My friends had labradoodles, a golden retriever, mixed dogs, puppies, and a bird. I would be available most of the day to keep your pets company for doggy day-time. Dog-boarding I have done before for my friends dogs so I think I would be alright at it. Most of the time dogs would sleep in the bedrooms with me but whatever is preferred will be fine. Thank you for taking the time to read my little "About Me" section! Please feel free to message me or see my reviews on TrustedHouseSitters. I am looking for more flexible work and Rover.com is perfect for that. I love fur babies so it makes working easier too! I have time most days to fill up with taking care of pets! I provide a safe and loving environment. Ensuring pets feel safe and happy!! Taking on walks, playing, and pets! Please message for more questions! Thanks:)

About: We have had an assortment of pets growing up. From reptiles, fishes, dogs, and cats. I also have assisted in taking care of birds as well. I currently work full-time, Mon-Fri schedule. But I am free after 5pm weekdays, and free all day on weekends. I do my best to make sure your fur-babies are taken care of. I do have a fenced yard, and make sure that I am outside with them to ensure nothing can happen. A very open yard so they have room to play indoors and outdoors.
About: I have 3 dogs of my own and they give me experience working with giant and medium sized breeds. I currently have 2 adult mastiffs that I have trained since puppyhood and a cattle dog mix puppy who I am currently training. I love working with all breeds and gaining experience! I am a student at CAC in Coolidge, and I work as a server. I am always open and honest about my day to day availability and willing to be flexible! I will always respect any rules you have for your house and will always do my best to do the task you ask of me!
“Absolutely great having Kylee take care of our cat. You can tell she really loves and cares for animals and it showed. She went above and beyond in her service and couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of Ollie. This is the least stressed he has ever been after I’ve returned from a long trip. I can’t thank you enough. Great job! -Wayne”

“Kyeshia did an excellent job caring for our 3 pets. I have a dog that often barks at other humans and he immediately cozied up to Kyeshia. I was shocked! This gave us the ability to enjoy our vacation knowing our pups were fed, walked and loved in our home. We would definitely hire her again.”

Kacee was absolutely amazing with my babies and they loved her! She stayed in contact, sent pictures and I never stressed about how they were or what was happening! We got home and our house was just how we left it and our babies were happy! We will definitely be booking her for future planned trips! Thank you Kacee❤️
Alyssa is always on time and a great communicator. Our pets love her and she treats our home with respect. She gave insulin shots to our diabetic cat and was willing to work around our dog’s feeding schedule. It’s obvious she cares about animals. I highly recommend Alyssa and will be booking her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
