About: My names Chris. I’m 33 years old. I’m a caring person as I work at an elementary school k-5. Needless to say, I have patients. I decided to put my love for pets to the test with your help. I’ve lived with three dogs for about 10 years of my life till I l moved out of my parents house. When two passed I couldn’t get another, so here I am Giraffes are my favorite animals. Always free because it’s summer and I don’t work. I have free time. It’s summer and teachers don’t work haha. So as a side gig hopefully turned full time I’d like to watch your pets and show them the love they deserve while you’re away. I’m a huge animal lover. I’ve taken care of dogs for many years and love a big one as I’m tall. Small dogs are cute too! Don’t have a dog well I’ve lived with snakes and tortoises. What ever animal you have I’m sure I’ll be a good fit to learn and understand how to care for them as you would

About: Animals have been a part of my life since I was born. Growing up around pets taught me how much love, patience, and care animals need. Over the years, neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for their pets because they know how much I love animals and how comfortable their pets feel with me. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with every animal I care for. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while they are with me. I’m patient with different personalities and enjoy caring for pets of all ages, including playful puppies and gentle senior pets. I currently work full-time, but I have extra time after work and wanted to spend it doing something I truly enjoy which is being around animals. Caring for dogs brings me happiness, and I would love the opportunity to give them attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are busy. My schedule can vary, but I believe good communication makes anything possible. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their needs. I enjoy making every walk a positive experience for each dog I care for. I believe communication is one of the most important parts of providing great pet care. I will work closely with each client to understand their pet’s routine, preferences, and needs, and I will follow their instructions to help keep their dog comfortable and happy.

About: I have had dogs all my life. Growing up our family had Boston terriers and German Shepherd. I grew up in Minnesota. My husband and I moved to Arizona in March after he retired from his job that he was at for 31 years. We are both still working. However I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. As you can see we have 3 dogs, we have two Mastiffs Kodak and Harlie Girl they are our gentle giants, crazy little clowns. Ok maybe not so little lol, Kodak is our talker and Harlie is our bulldozer. They see themselves has lap dogs, Neat story on why we named them, we got married in Kodak TN at Thunderhead Harley Davidson. Our sweet boy Ruger is a laid back man he too is a talker and loves to play ball. My husband had Ruger before we meet but he has become my boy also trust me if I move all 3 of them are up and going with me. They are my little pack. They are our family, our four legged children. ❤️❤️❤️❤️. My back ground just doesn’t stem from having animals. I have also worked in veterinary clinics and dog and cat boarding facilities and dog training facility. I work from home my schedule is flexible.I’m available everyday during the week. Our weekends we our out on our motorcycle. We belong to the CVMA I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs. They would love to meet new friends also. Have some play dates with other dogs

Shanna is great! Lola thinks the world of her. She's super responsive and has even gone out of her way to pull me out of a jam with a last minute walk when I got stuck at work. A true dog lover. Couldn't ask for more! I would highly recommend Her to others looking for care for their pup.

Showed up early every morning before the heat to get a small walk in for our older dog! Then played and loved on him the rest of the time. We appreciated you meeting him first and will love keeping you for future trips if your up to it! Sent daily pics in the notes and was very communicative and friendly!

About: I have over 10 years of hands on animal care experience, including 4 years in the veterinary field. I graduated from SUNY Delhi in 2018 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), which allows me to confidently care for dogs with a wide range of needs. I am home full time, so your dog will receive consistent supervision, attention, and care in a calm, structured environment. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I am home full time. This allows me to offer a flexible schedule and provide attentive care throughout the day, including short notice bookings when available. My home is safe, comfortable, and designed with dogs in mind. We have a doggy door leading out to a fully fenced yard for playtime, plus I live just minutes from local parks for walks and enrichment. I also have two friendly, social dogs, so all guests must be comfortable around other dogs.

Cris is an angel of a person, radiating positivity and care! She walked my three dogs every day for nearly two weeks and was absolutely exceptional. Her communication was outstanding—she kept me informed of every detail, ensuring I always knew how my pups were doing. What truly sets her apart is her awareness and caution. She was incredibly mindful of the environment, actively avoiding areas where off-leash dogs were roaming to keep mine safe. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and has the biggest heart. I am astounded by her level of care and attention. She went above and beyond in every way, and I trust her completely with my dogs. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like her own, look no further. Highly recommend!

  • 99% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
