About: My names Chris. I’m 33 years old. I’m a caring person as I work at an elementary school k-5. Needless to say, I have patients. I decided to put my love for pets to the test with your help. I’ve lived with three dogs for about 10 years of my life till I l moved out of my parents house. When two passed I couldn’t get another, so here I am Giraffes are my favorite animals. Always free because it’s summer and I don’t work. I have free time. It’s summer and teachers don’t work haha. So as a side gig hopefully turned full time I’d like to watch your pets and show them the love they deserve while you’re away. I’m a huge animal lover. I’ve taken care of dogs for many years and love a big one as I’m tall. Small dogs are cute too! Don’t have a dog well I’ve lived with snakes and tortoises. What ever animal you have I’m sure I’ll be a good fit to learn and understand how to care for them as you would
“Anne and Keen were great with my little rescue. They communicated with her and made sure that she was comfortable the whole time. They were on time and communicative me as well. I had a great experience with Anne and would call her again in the future to look after Sia. Thank you!!”

About: Hi! My name is Kelly, and I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I grew up with Giant to medium-sized dogs, including Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Labrador Retrievers, and Australian Heelers. I've also cared for smaller breeds such as Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and Maltese through pet sitting and dog walking. My caregiving style is patient, calm, and playful. When meeting a new pet, I believe in letting them set the pace. Rather than forcing interaction, I give dogs space to become comfortable, let them approach me on their own, and allow them to learn my scent and presence naturally. This approach has helped me build trust with both outgoing and shy dogs. I enjoy spending time outdoors with pets, whether that's a morning walk, playtime, or simply relaxing together. I have also volunteered with the Pinal County Animal Shelter, where I helped walk and socialize dogs. Additionally, I have worked with Maricopa County's Animal Shelter for their "Tails around town" program, where I would take out and care for adoptive animals for the day, allowing them to socialize and meet their potential new families! Through both volunteer work and personal experience, I've become comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I'm currently a student at Northern Arizona University and have professional experience in caregiving and service-oriented roles, which have strengthened my reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in their own home, I will treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I'm available whenever your furry family needs me! I'm currently home from college and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to build my routine around the pets and families I work with. Whether it's early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, or overnight stays, I'm able to adapt my schedule to meet your pet's needs. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building trust with them over time. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated like family. I try to make a pet's time away from their owner feel as normal as possible. Every animal is different, so I don't believe in taking the exact same approach with every pet. Some dogs want to play immediately, while others need time to warm up. Some cats want attention right away, while others prefer to observe from across the room first. When meeting a new pet, I usually let them come to me. I give them space to get comfortable, learn my scent, and interact at their own pace. I've found that being patient and calm helps build trust much faster than forcing attention or excitement. Having owned and cared for breeds ranging from Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, and Heelers to Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Maltese, I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pet enjoys a morning walk, playtime in the yard, or simply having someone nearby while you're away, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. I also understand that I'm not just caring for your pet but I'm a guest in your home. I make an effort to keep things tidy, follow your instructions carefully, and provide updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands.

When caring for my own pets or others' in their home, I prioritize comfort, routine, and attention to detail. About: I’ve had pets growing up and as an adult. I absolutely love pets. My pets are my children and I treat everyone’s pets with all the same love and care! Love walks, playing fetch in a secure area. I personally won’t go to dog parks, too many bad experiences. I’m a fan of puzzle enrichment (snuffle mats, lick mats, sniff puzzles and more) … I’m excited to be apart of giving the best care to your pups! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can get away for walks or check ins. I can even work from the clients home. About: My home has never been without pets. I currently have 4 loving dogs of my own. They are a mixed breed pack of all ages. I care for one senior dog at the moment. I’ve raised several litters of puppies and found them great homes. I was a preschool teacher before so I know patience better than most. Animals have a big place in my heart. I run a business from home so I have super flexible hours and availability to tend to any and all care needs. Your pet will be my priority. I prefer to care for the pets in their own home and familiar areas. I find this gives them a good sense that nothing is changing and reduces stress for the animal. I am very familiar with crates and crate trained animals. I pay close attention to instructions given for food and medications. I will spend time with them not just drop by for 5 minutes, giving love, attention, exercise(if permitted).

“Cris is an angel of a person, radiating positivity and care! She walked my three dogs every day for nearly two weeks and was absolutely exceptional. Her communication was outstanding—she kept me informed of every detail, ensuring I always knew how my pups were doing. What truly sets her apart is her awareness and caution. She was incredibly mindful of the environment, actively avoiding areas where off-leash dogs were roaming to keep mine safe. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and has the biggest heart. I am astounded by her level of care and attention. She went above and beyond in every way, and I trust her completely with my dogs. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like her own, look no further. Highly recommend!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
