Vegan for the animals
I have had animals all of my life. I am a very compassionate person. What started my adventures with Rover was when I went on vacation. I unfortunately had a very bad experience with a neighbor pet sitting for us. I was 12 hours away, in a hotel room watching the pet sitter physically kicking my elderly Mastiff off the outside patio. I canceled my vacation and couldn't get home fast enough. When i got home,all the water and food bowls were completely empty. And my animals didn't greet me. They were cowering in the bedrooms. It was a nightmare. I hoped no one or animal should have to go through that! I am an active person naturally. And like my profile says, I am really vegan. I care for ALL animals. I have experience owning large and small breed dogs, along with many cats, including a FIV+ cat who lived till he was 21 years old and died from cancer. I worked at Petsmart in the grooming salon while in my 20s. That was probably my most favorite job, I've had. When i started Rovering I was a SAHM to adult children, who had left the nest. My business that I owned didn't need my daily attention. I have since sold that business and moved for warmer weather in Arizona. You can be assured your pets are in good hands with me.

I currently do not have a fenced yard. I hope that will be changing soon. Right now, I am taking my dogs out on leashes and my cats are indoors only.

What a blessing Amanda is... I had reservations about using Rover for help. I am so happy I did. Amanda helped so much with peace of mind with her care for Buddy. He had a major surgery and I had to go back to work. She came and gave him exceptional care. I would highly recommend her and definitely will be using her services again. Once again, Amanda is a top 5 star sitter! I am a repeat client for a reason. She is One of the few sitters I can leave my pet with and not have to worry. “About anything”. Just enjoy my time away. My Husky / Malamute does not like everyone. But she absolutely loves and bonded tightly with Amanda, almost immediately. And that has only grown between both of them with each sit. Long story short, she is just a incredibly wonderful pet sitter. Thank you Amanda

Amanda is fantastic! She is one of the few that really cares about the security of your pet and your home. My dog instantly got attached to Amanda. She gives my dog a lot of positive attention and truly cares about making my dog feel happy and secure with her. I feel very lucky to have found Amanda as a sitter. Amanda was great! She spent time with the dogs and they loved her. My dogs don’t usually warm up to people easily and they immediately felt comfortable with her. She was great at sending pictures as well as updates. I will definitely use her again.

Schedule
I work in Chandler as a CNA during the 2p-10p shift. I work that job Sunday-Thursday, so I have open availability in mornings and weekends. If you need me during the week, I can still do morning, noon and nightly visits.

- Important to know about their pets ahead of time? I can't think of anything I'd need to know a head of time, other than the dogs preferences on things. Or maybe an allergy to perfume? I would need to know not to wear perfume before coming. Even though I only wear perfume occasionally.
