“Truth - I hired Anne to pet sit two cats. I was out of town for 3 weeks for a major surgery, and worked with Anne to make sure my cats would be cared for. She was excellent! Pet sitting was the only piece of my absence that made me worry, and I felt relieved when I found Anne. She is great, even with just cats!”

“Melanie and her husband were very nice and took care of Rocco in one of the most difficult weekends ever… New Year’s Eve weekend! The house also was spotless when we came back! Thank you!!!!”

“This was our first time leaving the dogs home while traveling as well as using Rover. We’re SO glad we found LaDawn. The dogs LOVED her. Even our shy dog loved LaDawn right away. She updated us daily with pictures and went above and beyond with taking care of our house too. Knowing everything is taken care of at home is a huge relief when traveling. We’re so happy we found LaDawn and we will be booking with her again.”

“Cris is fantastic! We had such a lovely trip without having to worry about our dogs whatsoever. They are always in great hands with Cris. She is truly the best, we appreciate her so much.”

About: New to the Casa Grande area! I’ve had hands on experience working with dogs of many breeds ranging from different sizes and temperaments. I’ve enjoyed training young pups by potty training as well as mature dogs who have some stubborn habits. I have experience with both pet sitting and drop-in visits. I believe we all get busy and keeping our dogs in the same routine helps keep everyone more sane! At the moment I’m flexible to work in a dog any day throughout the week. As long as it doesn’t interfere with a few time blocks I have set aside for other clients pets. I’m available enough to make sure your pet has the time to have potty breaks, feeding, play time or walks multiple times a day. Having a list for your dog helps me follow their routine as close as possible regarding feeding times, medications, play times or even when they’re allowed to have treats. Comfort and safety are my top priorities that’s why I love sending update photos. I also understand coming into a clients home means entering your dogs space as well and I value respecting the environment.

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, including puppies and high energy dogs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I focus on keeping dogs safe, comfortable, active, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pup enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or a calm environment, I’ll make sure they feel right at home I work a consistent schedule and make time daily for pet care, walks, playtime, feeding, and attention. I understand how important routines are for dogs, so I do my best to keep pets comfortable, active, and stress-free while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative, and flexible when possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, attention, and playtime. I’m experienced with different dog personalities and energy levels, and I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions carefully
“Kacee sat both our greyhounds in our home for a few hours. We’ve had these two for less than a month and were honest about our lack of 100% comfort with their ability to get along. She was not scared off when we mentioned muzzles, but both our pooches were calm and comfortable around her, which is a testament to her “dog whisperer” abilities. We will definitely be having Kacee back!”

About: Hi! My name is Kelly, and I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I grew up with Giant to medium-sized dogs, including Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Labrador Retrievers, and Australian Heelers. I've also cared for smaller breeds such as Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and Maltese through pet sitting and dog walking. My caregiving style is patient, calm, and playful. When meeting a new pet, I believe in letting them set the pace. Rather than forcing interaction, I give dogs space to become comfortable, let them approach me on their own, and allow them to learn my scent and presence naturally. This approach has helped me build trust with both outgoing and shy dogs. I enjoy spending time outdoors with pets, whether that's a morning walk, playtime, or simply relaxing together. I have also volunteered with the Pinal County Animal Shelter, where I helped walk and socialize dogs. Additionally, I have worked with Maricopa County's Animal Shelter for their "Tails around town" program, where I would take out and care for adoptive animals for the day, allowing them to socialize and meet their potential new families! Through both volunteer work and personal experience, I've become comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I'm currently a student at Northern Arizona University and have professional experience in caregiving and service-oriented roles, which have strengthened my reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in their own home, I will treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I'm available whenever your furry family needs me! I'm currently home from college and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to build my routine around the pets and families I work with. Whether it's early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, or overnight stays, I'm able to adapt my schedule to meet your pet's needs. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building trust with them over time. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated like family. I try to make a pet's time away from their owner feel as normal as possible. Every animal is different, so I don't believe in taking the exact same approach with every pet. Some dogs want to play immediately, while others need time to warm up. Some cats want attention right away, while others prefer to observe from across the room first. When meeting a new pet, I usually let them come to me. I give them space to get comfortable, learn my scent, and interact at their own pace. I've found that being patient and calm helps build trust much faster than forcing attention or excitement. Having owned and cared for breeds ranging from Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, and Heelers to Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Maltese, I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pet enjoys a morning walk, playtime in the yard, or simply having someone nearby while you're away, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. I also understand that I'm not just caring for your pet but I'm a guest in your home. I make an effort to keep things tidy, follow your instructions carefully, and provide updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Kim did an amazing job! Our puppy got sick the night before she helped watch him for a week and she did a phenomenal job with him. Will definitely reach out anytime we need a sitter”

“Christopher was absolutely wonderful with our dog Cooper. He stayed at our home and gave Cooper his undivided attention. The house was clean and tidy when we returned. We will definitely use him again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of my dental classmates for the past four years. I also grew up with four different lab retrievers. I am available to take care of pets during the day and weekend! ☺️🥰 I like walking the dogs in the morning and night time I make sure that the pets I take care of played with and feel they are fed and have enough human interaction. I also like giving them a little extra love with lots of belly rubs and petting.
About: Hello! I’m so excited to be starting this new journey and can’t wait to meet your dogs! I’ve raised both of my own dogs from puppies—they are now 8 and 10 years old. I have experience caring for a high-needs, anxiety-prone dog as well as a gentle giant Saint Bernard, so I understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, extra patience, or plenty of love and attention, I’ll treat them like one of my own while they’re in my care. I look forward to earning your trust and giving your pet a safe, fun, and loving experience. I’ve just relocated to Arizona from Colorado and looking for regular clients to serve in my new area. Taking on weekly clients and drop ins too. I’ll be caring for your pets like they are my own. I know the stress of finding good pet care and I hope to take some of that away from you.
“Shanna was AMAZING with Max. She filled in on short notice and made everything seamless. Max was completely as ease with her. She kept us updated the whole time. It gave us great peace of mind. We will certainly book with Shanna again.”

“Stephanie was amazing! This was our first time with housesitters, we have a dog that gets separation anxiety, and a cat with a strict diet. She and her fiance were great through the entire process. They helped with a last minute schedule change and they followed all instructions perfectly. We received tons of pictures during our trip and the animals were very happy. Our house looked perfect when we came back. We cannot speak any higher of their quality of service. Very happy we chose Stephanie and would definitely recommend to everyone.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Casa Grande
This was our first time leaving the dogs home while traveling as well as using Rover. We’re SO glad we found LaDawn. The dogs LOVED her. Even our shy dog loved LaDawn right away. She updated us daily with pictures and went above and beyond with taking care of our house too. Knowing everything is taken care of at home is a huge relief when traveling. We’re so happy we found LaDawn and we will be booking with her again.

We are so glad that we found Ishanty. Our 2 y/o dog turned out to be neurotic butthole after we left. Ishanty showed patience and care, she never gave up on making him feel comfortable. Our cats are happy too! We have a chaotic crew and she handled it all like trusted family. I’m confident that if we leave our babies again that they will be in her very capable and trustworthy care.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Casa Grande on Rover is $49.95 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 1,422 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Casa Grande. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Casa Grande walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Casa Grande maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Casa Grande choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Casa Grande. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
