“As ALWAYS Grace was AMAZING with Lola Jane! Grace is always great with our dog, she remembers every little thing for her, and gives her all the attention in the world! I highly recommend her for your petsitting needs!!”

“This is our second time booking with BreeAnn, this time with my parents dog who is resistant to warm up to most people. She was patient and gentle with him and he was comfy enough to hop in bed with her! We will use BreeAnn for all our puppy needs - she even took on Rex our fish for the couple nights!!!”

“Truth - I hired Anne to pet sit two cats. I was out of town for 3 weeks for a major surgery, and worked with Anne to make sure my cats would be cared for. She was excellent! Pet sitting was the only piece of my absence that made me worry, and I felt relieved when I found Anne. She is great, even with just cats!”

About: Clean , reliable and trustworthy- I’ll treat your pooch just as if it were my own with love and care . I double check everything to make sure that the best possible service is delivered. Reliable and trustworthy service I am able to do pet care as I work remotely as a hybrid worker and I have nights and weekends available to care for the Poochie’s I am consistent in my routine. I have a cat that has a thyroid and kidney disease so she needs medication on the regular and a special diet so I have to be very consistent on how I give her medication and her food.
About: I believe my kind heart and ability to build relationships with each owner and pet make it easy when trusting me with your family. Because of this I have pet sat many major league and minor league baseball players family pets ( all are willing to put in references). I have experience in all ages from puppies to senior dogs. I love all ages and all breeds as I have 6 grand puppies and 2 of my own! I just recently became an empty nester and while I have been missing my kids, being surrounded by animals have really helped fill that void for me! I currently work from home M - F till about 2:30, and I’m free after that! My weekends are open entirely. I however even with my work hours I’m still capable of caring and taking your pets out during those hours. My care really varies depending on the needs of your pet. Some need additional love and cuddles and some prefer to be more independent. First things first I always attempt to understand you and how your pet work that way they feel a sense of comfort with me during your absence, and this goes for boarding, walking, and drop in’s!
About: I love all animals! I've had cats and dogs my whole life, and have watching animals of my friends and family on numerous occasions. I have two dogs, both are rescues and one is a 6 month old energetic and playful puppy named Wayne and my other dog is a sassy 4 year old puppy at heart named Murphy. My 4 year old Murphy was born with a liver defect which was diagnosed last year, so I have plenty of experience with surgical recovery, medications, special diet, and handling sick animals with care and ease. My childhood dog also had kidney disease and required daily injections and medication. I have volunteered at local shelters for the last 3 years, and have lots of experience handling and caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My 4 year old dog also has behavioral challenges that we attend regular training for, and through that have learned so much about dog behavior and handling. He is the reason i'm so invested in rescue efforts and animal care and welfare! I work full time, but work most of the week from home. I have a flexible schedule but a set routine for my dogs. I feed breakfast at 6:30am and dinner at 6:30pm, but can adjust as need be for your pup. I have a fenced yard, and an energetic puppy who would be happy to play with your friendly pup! My older dog is still learning how to be social, so I crate him to create space so all animals are comfortable and happy. Both my dogs are crate trained, and I can easily crate yours if you would prefer!
“Christopher is amazing, kind and sweet. We were very apprehensive of leaving our fur baby with anyone, but Christopher made us feel at ease immediately. He offered to do an initial meet and greet, he was patient with our pet until she warmed up to him. Transitions and meeting new people are difficult for our pet, but it didn’t take her very long to get acclimated with Chris and give him kisses/ licks. He responded promptly and sent updated pictures of our baby. He kept our home clean. He is very respectful and prompt.”

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal care professional and current veterinary technician student with over 20 years of hands-on pet sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, and small household mammals including guinea pigs, rabbits, and other pocket pets. Animals have always been at the center of my life, and I take pride in providing compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs. In addition to my pet sitting background, I spent 14 years actively involved in cat rescue, giving me extensive experience with neonatal kittens, senior pets, behavioral challenges, medication administration, and animals requiring extra patience and specialized attention. My veterinary technician training has further strengthened my skills in animal health, safety, behavior monitoring, and emergency awareness, allowing me to confidently care for pets of all ages and medical needs. Whether your pet needs energetic playtime, calm companionship, medication support, or simply a reliable and loving caregiver while you’re away, I strive to create a safe, stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals, and I treat every pet like family. I'm currently working for a local animal shelter until 3pm Sunday through Thursday, being fully available Friday and Saturday weekly. I am looking into an externship opportunity to further my vet tech career, which means my availability will be almost full time in the near future to be available for pet sitting clients I have one dog and three cats myself, of which are equivalent to my own children being as I never had human children. My dog Chip is my world, and my cats are my babies. I have a large fully fenced in backyard, with a pool to cool off in in the summer months.

About: I have cared for dogs at all ages, from puppies to elders. I understand the importance of maintaining schedule/routine for the animal and making them as comfortable as possible. I am a student and attend school and clinical shifts but when I am not there, I am studying! I am not gone for very long on school days (M&Tue) and my clinical shifts are 8.5 hours (W&Thur). Other than that I am able to fully care and be available for pets! I prefer caring for pets in their home to make them more comfortable, I have pets myself and I always try to do that for them! I understand when their parents are away, it is important for them to be in their own place and be as comfortable as they can! I can adjust well to their needs and their schedules.
“Shannon had her hands full with my Aussie. He is a full blown herder and more vocal than your average husky. Additionally, Ozzy was recovering from a cold and antibiotics were making him feel yucky. Shannon was incredibly resourceful and worked with me to find solutions to help my fur baby feel comfortable and safe despite his mom being far away for a whole week. I sincerely appreciated her dedication!”

“Will was fantastic with our Golden Retriever, Moose! He kept us updated throughout the stay with photos, videos, and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Moose was happy, well cared for, and clearly thriving the entire time. Will was communicative, reliable, and took great care of both our dog and our home. We would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Stanfield walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Stanfield maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stanfield choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
