Our dogs loved Anne and Joaquin! We were a little nervous to leave them for so long but Anne and Joaquin eased our anxiety with constant communication and pictures while we were gone for 2 weeks. We loved them and will definitely use again and would totally recommend.

About: Hi! My name is Kelly, and I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I grew up with Giant to medium-sized dogs, including Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Labrador Retrievers, and Australian Heelers. I've also cared for smaller breeds such as Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and Maltese through pet sitting and dog walking. My caregiving style is patient, calm, and playful. When meeting a new pet, I believe in letting them set the pace. Rather than forcing interaction, I give dogs space to become comfortable, let them approach me on their own, and allow them to learn my scent and presence naturally. This approach has helped me build trust with both outgoing and shy dogs. I enjoy spending time outdoors with pets, whether that's a morning walk, playtime, or simply relaxing together. I have also volunteered with the Pinal County Animal Shelter, where I helped walk and socialize dogs. Additionally, I have worked with Maricopa County's Animal Shelter for their "Tails around town" program, where I would take out and care for adoptive animals for the day, allowing them to socialize and meet their potential new families! Through both volunteer work and personal experience, I've become comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I'm currently a student at Northern Arizona University and have professional experience in caregiving and service-oriented roles, which have strengthened my reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in their own home, I will treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I'm available whenever your furry family needs me! I'm currently home from college and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to build my routine around the pets and families I work with. Whether it's early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, or overnight stays, I'm able to adapt my schedule to meet your pet's needs. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building trust with them over time. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated like family. I try to make a pet's time away from their owner feel as normal as possible. Every animal is different, so I don't believe in taking the exact same approach with every pet. Some dogs want to play immediately, while others need time to warm up. Some cats want attention right away, while others prefer to observe from across the room first. When meeting a new pet, I usually let them come to me. I give them space to get comfortable, learn my scent, and interact at their own pace. I've found that being patient and calm helps build trust much faster than forcing attention or excitement. Having owned and cared for breeds ranging from Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, and Heelers to Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Maltese, I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pet enjoys a morning walk, playtime in the yard, or simply having someone nearby while you're away, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. I also understand that I'm not just caring for your pet but I'm a guest in your home. I make an effort to keep things tidy, follow your instructions carefully, and provide updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands.

My husband and I moved to Arizona in March after he retired from his job that he was at for 31 years. We are both still working. However I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. As you can see we have 3 dogs, we have two Mastiffs Kodak and Harlie Girl they are our gentle giants, crazy little clowns. Ok maybe not so little lol, Kodak is our talker and Harlie is our bulldozer. They see themselves has lap dogs, Neat story on why we named them, we got married in Kodak TN at Thunderhead Harley Davidson. Our sweet boy Ruger is a laid back man he too is a talker and loves to play ball. My husband had Ruger before we meet but he has become my boy also trust me if I move all 3 of them are up and going with me. They are my little pack. They are our family, our four legged children. ❤️❤️❤️❤️. My back ground just doesn’t stem from having animals. I have also worked in veterinary clinics and dog and cat boarding facilities and dog training facility. I work from home my schedule is flexible.I’m available everyday during the week. Our weekends we our out on our motorcycle. We belong to the CVMA I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs. They would love to meet new friends also. Have some play dates with other dogs

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember! I am new to the Rover community but I am not new to loving on the pups as I have committed myself to learning the best ways to adapt and give the best care for them. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them (which is SO easy for me to do). I would be honored to take them to a dog park where they can also interact with the other puppers while you’re away! While I have had dogs of all sizes my entire life, I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment. This means I am full of energy and love to give to you and yours! I currently work from home part time so I have lots of time and love to give! This is intentional as I would like to spend more of time around the doggos. I am mostly available M-F but can be available on the weekends as needed, spending time with your pup is something I look forward to! My apartment has a dog park for both small and big dogs, as well as a full park just down the street. I do not own a crate of my own at the moment but I am able to set up their home crate in my space if needed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Sharron took wonderful care of our dogs while we were away in Mexico. She kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind throughout our trip. Her communication was excellent from start to finish. When we returned home, our house was spotless, and it was obvious that our dogs had been well cared for and loved. We highly recommend Sharron to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional pet sitter. Thank you so much, Sharron we will definitely be using your services again!

About: I thought that joining Rover.com would be a good idea now that it is summer and I have plenty of time. I have been dog and house sitting for some friends a few times throughout the past year and it went well. My friends had labradoodles, a golden retriever, mixed dogs, puppies, and a bird. I would be available most of the day to keep your pets company for doggy day-time. Dog-boarding I have done before for my friends dogs so I think I would be alright at it. Most of the time dogs would sleep in the bedrooms with me but whatever is preferred will be fine. Thank you for taking the time to read my little "About Me" section! Please feel free to message me or see my reviews on TrustedHouseSitters. I am looking for more flexible work and Rover.com is perfect for that. I love fur babies so it makes working easier too! I have time most days to fill up with taking care of pets! I provide a safe and loving environment. Ensuring pets feel safe and happy!! Taking on walks, playing, and pets! Please message for more questions! Thanks:)

FAQs for House Sitting - Vaiva Vo

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 202 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Vaiva Vo. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Vaiva Vo walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Vaiva Vo maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Vaiva Vo choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Vaiva Vo. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 93% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
