“I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care and attention my senior dog and apartment received from Virgina over the weekend. My little Daisy instantly warmed up to her. Virgina took the time to understand her needs, ensuring she felt comfortable and secure in my absence. Not only did she care for my dog with kindness and compassion, but she also treated my apartment with the utmost respect. I returned home to a clean and tidy space, which was such a relief. Virgina communicated regularly with me, sending updates and pictures that put my mind at ease while I was away. Her professionalism, reliability, and warm-hearted nature made all the difference during my time away. I cannot recommend Virginia highly enough. She truly went above and beyond, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found someone so dedicated to her work. Thank you!”
“Joel was fantastic at caring for our home and animals while we were away. He was very professional and asked many detailed questions about our pets and their care! Will be booking again in the future! Thank you again!!!”

About: I’ve grown up with a pup of my own and have experience caring for pets of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m dependable, patient, and will walk, play, feed, or just keep your pet company. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll always make sure they feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide dependable care throughout the week. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting with plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive on time, and send regular photo updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable. I treat every home with respect, keep pets securely leashed on walks unless instructed otherwise, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit.
“Alicia was great about sending photos and being flexible for our needs. We came back to happy, healthy pups. We have already hired Alicia again, and we are considering another couple days out of town now that we have someone we can trust.”

“Zach was absolutely fantastic with my 2 German Shepherds. He went above and beyond to ensure my doggos were well taken care of while I was away for work. I will absolutely recommend and use Zach in the future.”

“Best review came from our dog. He did a little "glee pee" when he saw Jason today. Jason stayed with Kal for 3 weeks while we were away on vacation. They obviously got on very well together because Kal has only greeted 2 other people with "glee pee." Finding a responsible, gentle and caring individual was our number one concern when we were looking for someone to care for Kal. Our second concern was finding someone who we could trust to care for the house and our property. Jason exceeded our expectations on both counts. After 3 weeks together, Kal was obviously in love with Jason. The house was exactly as we had left it. If there was a 6th star, he would definitely get it.”

“BreeAnn did absolutely amazing with our pups! We have four dogs and two of them need to be separated at all times. Our dogs are also not the biggest fans of new people but she took the time to get to know each of them and let them warm up to her while also providing a ton of updates and pictures. She did a fantastic job and we will definitely trust our pups in her care.”

About: I petsit for a friend of mine at their house so i was responsible for maintaining the house, taking care of the pets by feeding, walking, and crating them if I had to run an errand. I am in the vet field so I am very passionate about caring for pets and if there is ever a pet in need of medications I am more than capable of being responsible of caring for a pets that needs medication whether it be oral meds or injectable! I have only cared for my friends pets but would love to explore and meet other furry friends to care for! I am currently working full-time at an ER vet facility and work till late at times but at times I do not work as much as others and am able to take days off if told in advance for any long vacations that clients need their pets taken care of for! I make sure to meet clients beforehand and get familiar with where things are in case of emergencies and to just make things easier for when I come to care for the pets. I also like to come beforehand to see how the pets behave with me and what to look out for as abnormal behaviors! I am capable of doing whatever is handed to me whether it be having to crate pets, medicate pets or just go and have fun with them! I treat others house as very sacred so I make sure to keep the house as tidy as possible and not touch things unless told I can and even then I sometimes won’t because I very much respect other people’s houses!

“Our experience with Abi was wonderful. This was the first time we left our pets without family around and Abi allowed me to relax in knowing they were in great care. In all the pictures, the girls all looked happy and relaxed which was a great sign that everything was okay and calm at the house. Coming back, they were happy to see us but were not desperate for attention which showed me they received it just fine while we were gone. Happy to have Abi as a contact here now for future travels and needs!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 3,786 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Casa Blanca. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Casa Blanca walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Casa Blanca maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Casa Blanca choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
