I don’t approach dog sitting like a checklist, I actually tune into the dog in front of me. I’ve been trusted to care for dogs consistently since 2021/2022, which has taught me the importance of routine, reliability, and patience. I handle daily walks, feedings, meds, playtime, baths when needed, and the inevitable messy moments that come with dogs just being dogs. I pay attention to body language, personality, and energy, and I adjust naturally, whether a dog needs space at first, reassurance, structure, or someone ready for zoomies. My approach is calm, attentive, and flexible, without forcing anything. I let trust build at the dog’s pace and show up in a way that makes them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. At the end of the day, I’m there to keep them cared for, steady, and genuinely supported while their person is away.🧡

We are so glad that we found Ishanty. Our 2 y/o dog turned out to be neurotic butthole after we left. Ishanty showed patience and care, she never gave up on making him feel comfortable. Our cats are happy too! We have a chaotic crew and she handled it all like trusted family. I’m confident that if we leave our babies again that they will be in her very capable and trustworthy care.
I have trusted Ishanty to watch my pets for the last 2 years and they love her! I have two dogs and parrot at home, and Ishanty has always been very flexible with their care and each of their needs. She does an amazing job and Ruby, Charlie, and Chicken are always happy and healthy when we return. She has been, and will continue to be my go-to when it comes to pet care!
I have known Ishanty for awhile and I can 1000% guarantee you that she is one of the most caring and trustworthy people I know. She is wonderful with animals and I have never had to worry about my pets when I’m away because I know they are having a wonderful time with her. Highly recommend her!!!

My schedule is flexible, and I plan my work around the pets I care for. I don’t overbook myself, if I say yes, I make the time. When I’m with your pet, that’s where my attention is. I’m not rushing, I’m not distracted, and I don’t treat your pet like a side task. They get walks, play, routine, and actual presence. I like to keep you updated too, so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. ✨

I’ve been trusted to care for pets in people’s homes, so I take that responsibility seriously. I move with awareness: doors locked, leashes secure, routines followed, meds given on time. I keep things calm, clean, and predictable, and I respect the space I’m in. I don’t force anything with pets, I let them warm up naturally. My goal is for your pet to feel safe and cared for, and for you to feel like you picked someone you can actually trust! ✨

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your dog happy, stimulated, and feeling loved. We’ll start with a walk to burn off some energy, letting them sniff around and take in the neighborhood—because dogs deserve a little adventure in their day. Back at home, we’ll play enrichment games that challenge them mentally, whether it’s puzzle toys or a good old-fashioned game of fetch. I pay close attention to their mood and energy level, so if they need cuddle time or a slow-paced day, I adjust. My goal is for them to feel like they’re on a mini vacation, not just being “watched.”✨
