Hello, I have been an animal lover and advocate for proper care and importance of pets in peoples lives all my life. My love started when I was a child while living on a farm in Minnesota where I cared for cows, pigs, chickens, barn cats/kittens, dogs and any other creature that wondered up. As an adult I have owned and/or cared for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, and even baby sat a monkey. The safety and care of our pet is priority one and I will treat and respect them as if they were my own. I do not condone chaining of dogs that are ignored with no care or human interaction or exercise. I have been medically trained as well as working with special needs students so I have medical knowledge as well as lots of patience. I have several references from cat and dog parents that have found me through Rover.com and by referral. I look forward to caring for your pets as special as i care for my own.

I am now retired after Covid closed schools where I worked with special needs children so now have more time any day of the week to visit and care for your pets.

My first priority is the health and safety of all pets. I make sure there is nothing dangerous within reach that might harm your pet and make sure all doors and/or gates are locked and secure. My focus is to protect your pets and follow all feeding and/or medication instructions.

Walking, running, fetching a toy or ball, rewarding with treats if allowed, brushing, and lots of pets and hugs. I follow all instructions regarding medications and feeding instructions as well as the pet's daily routine.

- I like to know the personality and temperament of the dog. If it is ok around other dogs or better by itself, if they are shy or aggressive. I prefer not to sit an adult Pit Bull if it has been confined and not trained.
