I have experience working with animal health as well as animal care and has always been my passion since I was little. I am a college sophomore that has been working with large animals and learning more about animal care. I take care of my one dog at home and provide it with all the care and love she needs. I have taken care of guinea pigs and rabbits to leopard geckos and chickens while maintaining a quality environment.
About: Hello! My name is Ava, and I’m a certified veterinary assistant with 8 years of experience working in a 24/7 emergency animal hospital and a kennel/boarding facility. I currently work part time while continuing my education, which allows me to be flexible and attentive to your pet’s needs. When I'm at work My assistant who has 13 years of experience in boarding dogs at our home is home full time. We are excited to begin our pet care services! Before joining Rover, we provided long-term boarding for foster dogs and cats, caring for them anywhere from a few weeks to six months, until their original families or new adoptive families were able to make space for them. As a veterinary assistant, I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes, including seniors, special needs pets, and those requiring daily medications or special monitoring. I also have experience with overnight pet and house sitting, as well as multiple daily drop-in visits while families are on vacation. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m available on all days of the week. I live in a one-story house with a large, fully fenced-in backyard with turf. Perfect for playing fetch in a safe neighborhood. I also have two friendly senior dogs of my own, who you’ll see featured in several of my photos. As well as two friendly senior cats. I'm very flexible Monday–Sunday and open to one-time, short-term, daily, or weekly long-term, or extended care (more than 10 consecutive days and no more than 3 months). We understand firsthand how important extended care can be; there was a time when we had to board 4 of our own dogs for about 3–4 months due to a storm that flooded the house. I do require a complimentary in-person meet and greet for new clients before your booking appointment for house sitting and drop-in visits. This helps ensure that your pet feels comfortable and safe with me. When I arrive at your home, I’ll slowly introduce myself to your pets while we sit and talk for about 30 minutes. During this time, we’ll go over your pet’s routine and any special requests, all while I give your fur baby plenty of gentle attention and love. After that, we’ll do a brief tour of your home so you can show me where everything is. At the end of the meet and greet, you can either: Hand me a house key or garage opener, or provide your garage/front door code (at least a day before your booking). Please note: if there is an active bed bug or head lice situation in the home, I will not be able to provide services there. I truly appreciate your honesty and understanding of this policy. I am currently working part time while continuing my education, and my assistant works from home full-time. So in the event I'm at work your dog or cat will always have someone with them wheither that be boarding, drop in visits, or house sitting. For boarding and house sitting, I travel: Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and Florence. If you’re in Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Apache Junction, Scottsdale, or staying in a 4-star hotel, feel free to send me a message, and we can work something out. *** I offer pickup and drop off services for boarding too*** I’m very flexible Monday–Sunday and open to one-time, short-term, long-term, or extended care. I understand firsthand how important extended care can be; there was a time when I had to board four of my own dogs for about 3–4 months. “Nothing can keep me from your fur ball.” 🐾 I will follow the instructions you leave for me to make sure your furry family is comfortable while you're enjoying yourself without worry. While your dog or cat is with me, I’ll keep you updated with adorable photos and thoughtful messages. I know how important it is to feel connected to your baby, even when you’re away. Your pet’s safety and happiness are our top priorities. We aim to create a stress-free, fun, and loving environment for every animal in our care. I’m a fast responder to messages and happy to communicate through the Rover app. We truly can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have cared for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, ferrets, snakes, and even tarantulas. Growing up with so many different animals taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding each pet’s unique needs and personality. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, playful, or prefers a quieter environment, I’ll make sure they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were part of my own family. ❤️🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since caring for animals has always been a part of my life. This gives me plenty of availability during the mornings, afternoons, and on many days for check-ins, walks, feedings, and quality time with your pets. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests to keep pets comfortable and maintain their normal routine. Whether caring for pets in your home or during visits, I’ll provide plenty of attention, exercise, and updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾❤️
“Allyson was wonderful to meet and kept me up to date with her visits. She also made sure Obi got out for walks and played with his toys anytime she came over! Will definitely reuse!”

“We had plans fall through last-minute where our flight home was cancelled. We ended up messaging and calling Raquel in a panic, and she instantly put us at ease and was able to accommodate her schedule to save the day! :) We weren’t able to do a meet and greet because of the situation, but she handled our dogs for the first time with no problems - which says a lot because we have two big dogs that can be intimidating (and a handful) as they tend to be protective of our home. We consistently received updates and pictures at each visit, and both dogs always appeared to be completely comfortable with Raquel. Needless to say, we came back home to happy and healthy dogs - we definitely will be booking with her in the future! 😌”

About: In the past 7 years I have raised and trained many dogs, in different venues ranging from basic obedience to dog sports including but not limited to rally, dock diving, scent work, agility, and tricks. I am continuously educating myself in recognizing different dog behaviors, to assess and anticipate their actions based on their body language. During that time I consistently watched over pets, ranging from taking a dog on a walk, to full pet care while their owners were on extended vacations. My personal dogs have accumulated 29 titles in the past 3 years in events from basic obedience to sports like rally, scent work, and tricks. In 2024 I was awarded the highest scoring junior handler of region 2 by the Australian Shepherd Club of America. I work from home with very flexible hours, so I am available to drop in on your pets whenever is most convenient for you, 7 days a week. I consult with all of my clients ahead of time about the handling and care of their pets, and the safety and security of their home.

San Tan Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
Delia was absolutely amazing! She did a meet and greet with our fur babies prior to booking. We had specific instructions with our dog’s routines and she followed to a tee. Our one girl is timid however Delia was able to manage and ensure she was comfortable at each check in. Each check in was captured with documentation and pictures (my favorite). One of our dogs looked to have an eye infection which was communicated right away and Delia adjusted the care plan to accommodate flushing his eye at each check in. 10000/10 recommend Delia to anyone and everyone. To add this was our first time someone other than family to watch our pups and she made me feel comfortable during our entire trip that our fur babies were taken care of. Thank YOU!
