I love pets of all kinds. I have two dogs of my own & puppy raise for a guide dog school. I have fostered and volunteered for both rescues and shelters so I get experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. I also have experience with cat & kitten fosters. I have experience with training and dogs with medical conditions requiring treatment. I’m comfortable with dogs that pull, have leash reactivity, anxiety, and large strong breeds(but I love to help your smaller critters too.) I can’t wait to make friends with your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
For walks I use two points of attachment to both my wrist and leash belt to help keep dogs extra secure. I have a LOT of experience walking multiple dogs at once and extremely strong dogs as well. I am very careful when entering the home to place my foot in first and block any escape artists. I have never had a pet escape. My yard is secured with a large brick wall. I have two friendly dogs that are used to all breeds from our foster experience. I also have experience and space to keep your pet in a separated area if your pet would rather not play with others.

Heidi is amazing! She has this beautiful combination of a peaceful spirit when she’s around the dogs, but she’s extremely high energy and friendly and bubbly and just a really colorful person and I am so glad that we have connected. You can tell that she really does care about the animals and makes it a point. I would imagine to make my dog feel like he’s the only dog in the world and he is happier and more exercised and it really truly has been a blessing!

Schedule
Pet care is my primary job. I am able to be present in your home with your pets for sittings but I do sometimes leave for other walks if I have other services scheduled.
