About: I have taken care of pets of my own since I was very little and started pet sitting for neighbors around the age of 10. Most recently I have taken care of my neighbor's cat and dog multipul times over the past 3 years. I am working part time and am on summer break. I am willing to check in on animals or walk them whenever needed and I only work 3 1/2 hour shifts. The dogs I have are a bit spoiled and well loved. I will love what ever animal I watch and will take care of it however you would prefer.

“Erica has been walking our pups for almost a year. She has always been available, always been punctual, and has always been a great communicator. Our dogs love her and are always excited to see her. Even our one dog who was abused and doesn't like most people took to her right away. Rest assured when you choose Erica your pets are in great hands. Thank-you for always taking such good care of our pups!”

About: I’ve had several animals of my own, I have dog and cat sat for several people/ families. This included giving medications to injured dogs and puppies. I also work in a dog grooming salon and have hands on experience bathing and grooming dogs of all ages and sizes. I have also fostered a puppy from the humane society and cared for dogs in heat. I am a stay at home mom with a great support system. Pet care would be a hobby and side job of mine that I would thoroughly enjoy. I have a fenced backyard and an animal free home, so no risk of discomfort between animals. I have great respect for other people’s homes and make it a priority to follow specific instructions for the safety and comfort of everyone involved.

About: Hi there! :) I’m passionate about taking care of animals and always make sure they feel comfortable when they’re with me. I've helped raise a labradoodle and terrier for over five years. I’ve been around dogs and puppies most of my life so I’m completely comfortable with them, large or small. I’ve also taken care of dogs with bigger personalities and also much more tame ones. I’m extremely patient around any dog and always go out of my way to make them feel comfortable. I work full-time and am mostly remote. My schedule is also very flexible. I finish work on the weekdays at 4pm, and my WFH schedule allows me to watch your furry pal during/after my shift. I know that it can be tough to leave your pup overnight or under someone else’s care so I always communicate with my clients updates or photos of their pups. My biggest priority is also to make sure your pup is comfortable with me. They’re welcome to relax on my couch or bed if they’re staying at my home. I’m available anytime before or during a booking for any questions you may have!

About: I bring a great big heart to the table when it comes to our animal friends. Dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, budgies, fish…I am happy to provide nurturing care for them all as if they were my own. I specialize in in-home stays, drop-ins and doggie walks. In-home stays are treated as if I live there, never leaving for very long at a time. I find this is extremely beneficial for fur babies who have separation anxiety, providing a calm presence and a bonding experience that provides smooth, low stress transitions. I am comfortable caring for seniors and those who are ailing. My experience includes caring for personal pets all my life as well as those of friends, family, and professional clients. I have been there for many journeys, loving them from the time they come into my life all the way to holding vigil as they cross over the rainbow bridge. I am quite an observant person, tuning into their needs and often noticing when something is off or perhaps they are not feeling well. My experience volunteering at a wildlife rescue honed this a bit when needing to observe and take weekly notes on behavior and eating habits of the animals in for rehabilitation. These notes helped doctors track recovery time and make any changes needed to their care. Through this experience I've learned how precious a life is, no matter how big or small it may be. Current furry family members include 5 guinea pigs. My family had to say goodbye to our beloved 15 year old dog last summer and our hearts are still aching. “Christie has taken care of our two dogs and cat, providing a walk when we are away for a long day and overnight house and pet sitting. She is great! She is very reliable and responsive and most importantly, she seems to really care about our pets and their well being while we’re gone. She always leaves our house clean and our critters happy when she leaves! One of our dogs is pretty nervous with people and Christie’s patience and calm presence makes us feel better leaving her with someone because we know she’s in good hands! She is very attentive to all of the pets, is an excellent communicator and provides us with lots of updates while we’re away which we always appreciate!” ~ Laura K. I currently freelance, which offers freedom in my schedule to care for your fur baby in your home or out for walks to smell all the smells in the neighborhood during the week or on the weekends. I am neat and tidy, honest and conscientious. You will receive regular check-ins with pictures via text. If they happen to be having a particularly joyful moment I try to capture video to send. I am there to let them know they are not alone and their needs will be met with nurturing and kindness. Sometimes just being present in the house gives a pet peace of mind.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was a kid, have several cats at my home in West Tacoma, and love spending time with dogs of friends and family. I live in West Tacoma and have availability weekdays and weekends in mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Open for mid-day visits and walks, short or long term sitting, and more. I have cats in my home (and sometimes foster kittens) so I’m very familiar with helping cats get comfortable in new spaces or around me for the first time. Careful around open doors, clean and tidy, and respectful of your space!

About: My name is Owen and Ive lived with pets my entire life, from Boston Terriers to Great Danes. One thing pets have taught me over the years is that your never alone as long as you treat your little friends with love and compassion :) Dog walking and pet sitting is my new summer hobby that not only helps my community but lets me meet new people and awesome pups that need some attention. Ive cared and loved indoor and outdoor dogs and cats leaving me with a large bank of experience leading me to have a knack for understanding what pets need and how they feel.

“Alyssa is great! She communicates well, is punctual and seems to make great use of time with my Oakley. And based on the great pics she takes, it looks like he really likes her! I will definitely continue to use her walking services.”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and chickens. I have fostered puppies, elderly dogs, and bunnies. Last summer, I was a sitter for cats and dogs, including elderly dogs and puppies. I am experienced in dog training, including agility training. I have my own cat and I have successfully taught him a few tricks! I am a recent WWU graduate and my part time seasonal job is ending soon. My schedule is very flexible while I apply for other jobs! I feed, brush, and play with my own cat, and scoop his litter box. I also taught him how to sit, spin, and come when called. I am happy to feed, play with, and walk your pet(s), and provide any other care that they may require. I appreciate when clients write out specific routines and rules for their pets that I can follow to minimize their separation anxiety! As a sitter, I also like to send clients photo updates of their pets!

Ruston dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brianna always goes the extra mile with Nell! She is very reliable and communicative and sends us plenty of updates and pictures, whether she's housesitting or a going on scheduled walk. We have booked her before for both and we never stress or worry leaving Nell in her care🙂

John was so great and a huge help to us. He was very fast to reply to our last minute dog walking request, arrived on time, is great at communication and very kind. Our 80 lbs Doberman loved him and I knew she was safe in his hands. I also liked that John had experience with big dogs since he has a husky! We will definitely be using John again. Rooney gives two big paws up! 🐾

Jessica came to the rescue when I (last minute) asked her to stop by and let my pups out of the house when I couldn’t get there to give them a mid-day break. She was so kind to do this the day before Thanksgiving. The dogs were happy and we had no accidents on the floor when we got home.

Cannot say enough good things about Lucy. Ya know how there are some people that you instantly feel comfortable with? Like you meet them and you instantly know they are just a good human. Well - that's Lucy. From the moment she walked in the door and sat down on our floor to meet the dogs, you could just tell she was the type of person who was going to love and take care of your pets like they were her own. And she did. The dogs absolutely loved her. She was super communicative and reliable. And she made sure to check in with our elderly mother who lives with us (but is not mobile enough to take the dogs out herself) and just went above and beyond to make sure the whole experience was smooth and comfortable for everyone. Wish she was still in our area (but wishing only good things for her in this new chapter). Thank you, Lucy!
