About: I am a dog mom myself and I grew up with a poodle for 16 years. I’ve lived with and cared for a cat for 2 years and am the go-to pet sitter for friends when needed! I have experience with city dog walking, overnight or drop-in pet sitting, and medication administration. I have significant experience with senior dogs, am active and resilient in keeping up with younger dogs, and I'm game to help train. While my "expertise" and experience is with dogs, I love and have been a cat sitter for friends and neighbors and am not a novice. Because I’m a dog mom myself in an apartment I am unable to offer boarding, but I would love to help you out with drop-ins, walks, or house sittings this spring and summer! I’m lucky to have the time to offer my services and I understand the expectations and care an owner has when booking accommodations for their pet and I strive to provide that in return! I work part time during nights so I am flexible through the daytime and most nights a week/end. Happy to be of service for your last minute drop ins/walks in a pinch too! I have experience with drop-in/walking, house sitting, and overnight pet sitting. It’s important to me that your pet is comfortable, safe, happy and in as familiar and safe an environment as I can provide for them. As a pet owner myself, I understand the anxiety and occasional frustrations with securing pet care when you’re away and I feel strongly about providing a loving and hospitable service to a client. I’m fortunate to have the availability for pet care right now and want to be available in any capacity I can for Philadelphia dog parents as the weather warms up.
“Rocky did a great job taking care of our cat for a week. Punctual, reliable, and left our house exactly how we left it. Kept us posted throughout our trip with any pertinent updates and made sure we knew that our cat was in good hands!”

About: Lifelong dog lover with 5+ years of experience caring for dogs, from little maltipoos to my very own 290lb gentle giant English mastiff. I am experienced in walking, drop-in visits for playtime (my favorite) and feeding, and will love your pet like they are my very own! I’m currently working Monday-Thursday, so I’m available anytime for Friday and weekend walks and drop-ins. I’m additionally available for house sitting Thursday nights through Sunday, perfect for looking after your pet when you need a weekend getaway! When caring for your dog at your home, I always remain physically present with your pet so I can immediately respond to any of their needs. I assure that I will be respectful of your space and will only go where needed to accommodate the needs of your pet!
“Tricia is so understanding and sweet! She’s also so detail oriented and made me feel like I could trust her with my dog! She left insightful messages about her visits which made me feel at ease and I knew my dog was in good hands! Would definitely recommend.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs as long as I can remember, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I truly love spending time with dogs and enjoy getting to know each pup’s unique personality. I’m responsible, attentive, and excited to give your dog a fun, safe, and happy walking experience! As a college student, my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m available throughout weekends and have plenty of availability during the week after my classes end around 2:30 PM. I’m happy to work with your schedule and find a time that works best for you and your pup! When caring for your pup in your home, I take your trust seriously. I’m respectful, responsible, and committed to keeping your home secure and treated with the same care I would want for my own. Your privacy is important to me, and I will always respect your space and belongings. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I've watched and walked dogs for friends and family over the years. It would be my pleasure to help your furry companion get some valuable outdoor time walking or settle in with my own dog in our home while you're out of town. I do gig work and am a graduate student, but can spend quality of time with them as my schedule is very accommodating. Currently I'm making my own schedule as a gig workers and freelancer. So my day to day is extremely flexible. I make sure my own dog gets plenty of outdoor time and walk almost everywhere myself. Currently living in an apartment with a roof dog area. There are a number of dog relief areas around the neighborhood as well as a couple parks.
“Gabrielle is an amazing sitter! Responsive, compassionate and attentive, I would 1000% would recommend Gabrielle to anyone who requires a sitter for their furry companion :)”

“Chastity helped with drop-in visits for our two cats for a week while my partner and I were away, and she did an AMAZING job! Both cats were fed, groomed, played with, and loved on in our absence. She provided tons of pictures, left our placed clean, and even took a package in for us. She went above and beyond for our cats, and we would book with her in a heartbeat in the future!”

“Thank you so much for being so easy to work with and accommodating last minute. We already booked out our next vacation in October. Absolutely recommend!!”

“This was my first service with Reno, and, as with his other reviews, must simply be referred to as superb. My kitty went right up to him at the pre-care visit, and did so well with eating, litterbox, and play under Reno’s care that I could not be more grateful. I definitely will use Reno again!”

“Lydia was excellent! Communication was easy and seamless and my (usually) shy cat took a liking to her and came out to say hi! Would highly recommend her.”

“Julia provided a great service watching my cat for a week! Very punctual took many photos and was very flexible with the very specific food he eats. I recommend her and will hopefully book in future !”

“Pamela was highly responsive, so friendly, and excellent with my puppy. This was my first rover experience, and I will definitely book her again!”

“Brian continues to be the best, going avoce and beyond! In addition to his amazing care, we encountered an issue where my boy cat wasn't letting my girl cat est get food. Brian hopped on a call after midnight to discuss possible options (which were successful!) to help alleviate my stress as soon as possible and took action immediately the next visit. As always, came home to a very clean apartment and happy, healthy cats. Cannot recommend him enough!”

“Kind and communicative! I requested Evyn for daily drop in visits the day before a 4 day weekend away, and she responded immediately. We arranged to share a key that day, and I’m very appreciative of her responsiveness. Highly recommend!”

About: Always had cats and dogs growing up and have a cat on my own At one point we also had frogs and hamsters in the house Typically woken up before sunrise by a hungry cat. He’s fed while the coffee is brewing. Have not lived with my parents dog for several years, but still walk and feed when needed Follow owner instructions and give attention and affection if accepted by the pet. Wouldn’t give a pet I wouldn’t want someone to give to mine
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid and am experienced with many breeds -Maltese to Lab (and even puppies!). Would love to walk and play with your dogs! I work full time but am free in the evenings and my weekends are flexible. I can also make mid-day visits on my work from home days (Wed, Thurs, and Fri). I don’t currently board pets in my home because I live in an apartment and my complex requires pet rent and monthly fees to board dogs.

Jovelle was absolutely wonderful with my dog, and I could immediately tell he was in great hands. She was reliable, communicative, and treated him with so much care and attention. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with him, which gave me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend Jovelle to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog walker!

Kristin is the absolute best! She cared for my beloved Petey for nine years, and is now a huge help with dogs I foster. I trust her not only as a walker, but as someone who truly gets to know and befriend the pups, with Rover cards that reflect their unique personalities. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Amazing! I have two very high-demand dogs—one senior dog with all the extra needs that come with age, and an adolescent with tons of energy and a serious love of mischief. Lee does an incredible job with both of them. They’re great at communicating with me about anything that comes up and are wonderful at handling all the “extras” that come with a senior dog and a young dog who is still learning. I feel completely confident knowing they’re in Lee’s care!

Sophie did such a great job watching my senior yorkie and four month old kitten. My dog is very hesitant with people, but Sophie had no issues whatsoever. Also, she followed my detailed/lengthy feeding instructions for both pets and took my dog out whenever she checked in. She did a great job, I definitely recommend and will be rebooking in the future.

Dan played an important role in our wedding weekend to care for our beloved senior dog. He was on time, professional, and gave incredible care to our dog. His detailed communication made us feel comfortable and allowed us to be fully present on our big day. We would recommend Dan to any of our friends!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
